Regarding the Maine lobster, if you're local you can get it cheaper than you can hamburger if you know where to look or shop. During season, I can go to my local grocery store and get it for practically dock prices. By the time it gets shipped out of state, the price has gone up almost tenfold.

Okay, so I’m originally from Connecticut and lived there my first 35 years of my life. I’ve never even heard of a steamed cheeseburger. Maybe in small town Meridian CT they are famous but nobody has informed the rest of the state. Some of these foods are iconic and synonymous with the states that this video mentions, but scrapple being THE comfort food of Pennsylvania???? I don’t believe that for one minute. I don’t know who comes up with this stuff but I think they are reaching way out there. Scrapple looks like cement bricks. No one is ever going to eat that and say it’s comfort food. It’s made up of the unusable scraps of a pig. Ugh 😩 There is no comfort associated with this crap-ple.

As a single lady, I have a Costco membership for my dog food, dog treats (I have a Great Dane), toilet paper (everyone buys their toilet paper at Costco), and a hot dog/Diet Pepsi combo ($1.65 for both and that includes free refills!)

The U.S. trains its military like most other countries, like wild ferocious dogs. They do this so they can win over the other militaries that attack or oppose them. This said, we can't be surprised that these superior tactically minded soldiers/sailors/airman/ marines are hungry to do what they were trained to do when we let them lose. This is why we have the military under the command of civilian leadership (if our civilians fear it is too much, we order them to stop).

I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, with several lakes around. My house is 20 minutes away from a public beach on a lake. And, I can drive 5 hrs from the Atlantic Ocean, 4 1/2 hrs from Washington DC, and 9 hrs away from New York City. Plus, I can drive 7 1/2 hrs from Savanah Georgia (which means I drive through North Carolina and South Carolina during that 7 1/2 hrs). It's so beautiful and very affordable. However, I would love it if there were more Mediterranean Restaurants. (Wink, Wink!).

My Dear, I heard how you said you might be afraid of a restaurant hurting you. But the USA has Federal governments that inspect the meat, eggs, cheese and almost all foods. (At a grocery store you will see the meat & food labeled as FDA it means its been inspected). And, all states and cities check restaurants for cleanliness. If a restaurant fails an inspection that will give them a short time to fix it or shut it down. (If it is very nasty with big insect infestations it will shut it immediately without notice). So, 90% of the time US restaurants are safe and clean.

At a population of around 21,000, this is hardly a city. It is a small town.

Almost any of the food items shown here where the meat is pork (ham, bacon, etc) can be made from beef, chicken or turkey. There are plenty of Jews & Muslims that don't eat pork so you can often get it with a different type of meat. By the way, bison meat is just like beef but only sweeter. It's delicious!!

College football is fun to watch and some of the marching bands are phenomenal. High School football teams and marching bands are also very good in many areas. Having a drink or a few at a tailgate party or at the game is okay; but most people do not get stinking drunk.
