Tone Master Super Reverb & Tube Super Reverb CRANKED at the same time on Strat (KILLER SRV TONES)

- I played them with no effects only a dimension c pedal to chain them together. Other than that i played them with a Fender Strat with Pure Vintage 59 pickups and ghs guitar boomers 11-50 gauge.
tuned to e flat of course:)
I Measured the tube super reverb from like 6 feet away at 115 db so both of them combined probably around 120 db. (I was wearing earplugs dont worry!). then again I used a phone app too measure not a real db meter so i dont know how accurate is was
I also recorded on my phone so not the best audio quality.
Both amps were around 8 - เกม

How would you compare the tmsr to the tube, gonna buy one of the two soon
they both sound similar to each other at that volume. but the tube sr has more touch sensitive feel and dynamic where as the tonemaster can do that too but just not at the level as the tube can but when i side by side compare them when picking hard they virtually sound the same, just a few eq differences, and the tonemaster doesnt have a harsh digital sound to it. The one thing I might add though, the tonemaster at around 6 or 7 (the sweet spot) is night and day compared to 6 or 7 on the tube. The dynamics on the tube at that volume are unmatched for the tmsr, the tmsr is sterile-ish at that level and kind of lacks the compression that you would get on the tube. The volume coming from the amp is the same.
the settings on the tube amp was: Vol 7 1/2, Treble 8, Mid 1, Bass 5.
then on the Tonemaster was" Vol 8, Treble 8, Mid 2, Bass 5 1/2.
I dont remember if the bright caps were on but I know the Tube had it on idk about the tmsr.
the tmsr was running on the full 45watt mode.
both had jenson p10r speakers.
the speakers on the tmsr were well broken in already from 2 years of playing
the speakers on the tube are still in progress of being broken in
the tube takes pedals better than the tmsr.
at 3:39 is the tone master only on
at 4:22 is the tube only
I'll see if ill be able to make a video of just playing the tmsr and tube super reverb side by side comparison with a looper at various volumes
Thanks so much! I recently demoed a Tonemaster at a guitar store, it sounded amazing but it didn’t overdrive as much as it does here. I guess cranking it also brings in some speaker distortion
