The only time everyone would be considered a loser is if everyone had four whammys and none of them would have been able to return. This never happened. Having all three players eliminated would have been next to impossible because all spins are lost when a person hits their last whammy. It could only happen when a player plays solo and I'm sure if they were to hit their third whammy, they wouldn't risk a fourth as they would return to play the next day because they would be automatically declared the winner being the only one left in the game!
Yes he deserved most of the blame but had Dorothy avoided the Whammy on her last spin, she would had won. So it's partly her fault and the Whammy's. For the outcome.
@@stephenholloway6893 She could, but she'd risk him stopping on a prize worth more than the top dollar amount, or starting a spin war. And WHO would she pass it to? She would have the choice at that point if I am correct on that rule because both were tied then.
I would have loved to see an incident where all 3 players were eliminated from the game because they would have all received 4 whammys. I think there was a episode from September 1986 where all three players whammies out of the game. It might have been #66 (the episode that was destroyed before it aired), but I could be wrong)
She really asked a dumb question about the passed spins. Of course Joe has to take all of them unless he whammies with some left and they become earned.
Actually, all three should have been eliminated and three new contestants should have played the next taping. Still a fun twist so no one goes home a true loser, I suppose.
@@gamblincabbie9505 *would've It was the end of the game and no one had any money - having to accumulate four whammies to lose didn't apply in this situation.
@@robbernath In all versions of Press Your Luck (Tomarken, Newton, and Banks*) having $0 and less than three whammies is better than whammying out of the game. Peters reaction was priceless.
7:14 Whammy, triple zero
7:23 Peter"s reaction was similar to that of Nancy Zerg after she beat Ken Jennings
I love how the $0 flashed at the end as if someone actually won!!
They did win. Granted all they won was the privilege of coming back to the next show, but they still won nonetheless.

This is what makes this game fair!!!!! Wow!!!
The whammy was the real winner on this show lol. As he usually is. From my math he took over $33K from these 3 contestants
Actually, The Whammy took $35,361 in cash and prizes from all 3 contestants in this episode
4:05, Joe was right about this one! $15,898 Loss!!! Unbelievable!
Joe like if I don't win nobody win
Peter: "Joe, it's all your fault." That was pretty harsh.
Well it was, since he passed all those spins

They even had two Whammies each, so that couldn’t be used as a tiebreaker even if they wanted.

I always wondered which studio at CBS Television City this show was recorded in?
33. AKA the Bob Barker Studio. Price still tapes there.
Usually 41. Once in a while 33.
That was funny how the guy wanted whammy, whammy, whammy.

2/5/1986 here. The movie aired 10/28/1993 the first time on USA so this could be from 10/27/1993.
