  • China’s successful transformation has been also directly linked to the State-owned enterprises, they have played a significant role in China's economic growth and development. As of 2017, China has more SOEs than any other country. In 2018, half of the country's centrally owned Enterprises were among the world's 500 largest companies and in 2019, they represented 4.5% of the global economy.

Three years of COVID-19 pandemic badly halted economic activities across the world. Despite China's huge success in controlling the spread of COVID with what the western media these days called a "failure" and "draconian", the proof of China's success is in the statistics. China has the lowest pandemic mortality rate of all countries. If 2022 is really a bad year for China's pandemic policies, China's 2023 exports including EV, batteries and solar panels is a shock to western business analysts. During the three years, Chinese engineers and workers never stopped.
