It took me a couple of years with my dealer and I got the Rainbow Daytona. It wasn't just like getting any other watch. I had to submit a write-up for why I should be chosen and then my salesperson took that and did another rev that she thought would be good for the VP. Then it finally came down to two people and the VP chose me even though I had slightly less spends than the other guy...and that's cuz I showed more passion for the brand. I also got the 100th Anniversary 24 Hours of Le Mans Daytona, which is about as rare and arguably harder to get, but what's crazy about that one is that Rolex had to approve the Le Mans themselves whereas my Rainbow only required approval from the VP of my AD.
You should post shorts and Reviews on all of your watches ! Probably can turn your almost 1K subs into 30-50K subs in the first year or 2. Or do reviews on cars and wear a watch and do a mini review on the watch as well simultaneously 🤔 🤷🏻♂️
Why would they offer $100k-$1million+ watches to someone who makes 100k or less and only wants to buy a $5-20K watch ? Then they’d just sell it ! If they’re going to sell a watch for $180K that sells for $500-600K the moment the customer walks out . They want to make sure it’s a millionaire so they don’t need or want to sell it! Luxury goods are specifically that ! It’s not like Rolls Royce or Lamborghini where if you buy one you have to be a millionaire no matter what ! Rolex makes things for people that want a $5-10k watch A $12-20K watch A $25-50K watch And $60-100K watch And $110k-250K watches Obviously each level is also very different tax brackets !
I have to agree. There’s wealth and there super wealth.. A guy I now was a building contractor £120k per year. He meet this lady whose family were obscenely wealthy.. She told Tim stop working as I earn more in interest on my normal bank account than you actually earn before tax’s and running costs.. So Tim did,he just over sees there homes,2 days a week tinkering
Once you get your hand on a off-catalogue rolex at retail price you are tracked like a gps chip by the brand. In case you resell it they would send a SWAT team to raid your home.

Same, took me 2 & a half years with a $50k retainer.
@@livefree1030 Your AD required a retainer? Interesting. They all operate differently. I like your profile pic, btw. I also have a bulldog.

What happened to all your watch videos on your channel? Unreal Porsche collection 👌
@@floridaboybrandon954 I have been thinking about doing something like that for a while now. I might!
I would love to buy an off catalog piece. I have been with my AD for years and I buy a Rolex every single year
Eric which one is the hottest off catalog piece to buy? Tell me and i will try to get it from my AD.
Rolex, Ferrari and other companies that keep doing this exclusivity behavior need a wake up call by the consumers.
😂 I’m sorry but the people that aren’t “exclusive” can’t afford to drop $180K on a watch most likely .
Certain people are VIP for a reason !
