    This was great, as a HCP, I really appreciate the detail and candid information that Dr. Banik provided as this particular condition is really alarming, to the point that I was even wondering if I was having a stroke, but listening to the detail within this podcast that surpassed all the other videos I watched, I definitely feel a lot more at ease. Huge thanks for Dr. Banik generously sharing her knowledge with all of us freely and with such detail!!

    Thanks for the information. Functional neurologists (a different field then neurology) can often help with migraines, Visual snow, etc. I don't represent any sort of functional neurologist. I am just a regular person who survived a traumatic
    brain injury, and I've had significant results from Functional neurologists who can actually help these symptoms improve, Rather than just manage them with medication, etc. Please excuse typos/grammar errors as I am recovering my screen abilities.

    No headache but a partial shimmering and kaleidoscope effect that slowly increases to part of my vision and slowly fades. No pain and no headache

    I recently got glasses that i made sure had a light rose color tint to it and they have helped dramatically with my light sensitivity and eye pain, my optometrist never heard of it for some reason though, but i found the solution online through videos like this!

    I have depth perception auras..landscape becomes slanted and 3d...have to pick up my feet to step over it. No white snow but like looking thru a black screen. Very difficult. Thank you!

    For the past 3 years maybe once and month, sometimes once every couple months I wake up in the morning with terrible eye pain and blurred vision that last most of the day. There’s been a couple times where it will be in my left eye one day, then move to the right eye the next day. I get headaches too, but don’t know if I’m getting a headache because of the eye pain and blurred vision, or the headache is causing the eye pain.

    I had cluster migraines and then I had strokes and then I had more migraines and woke up one day not being able to see properly or remember anything. I take a teaspoon of bicarb soda in water and my migraine goes within minutes. I have my site affected from my strokes and migraines. My central vision is shattered and pixelated that my peripheral vision is perfect.

    I often get headaches that start in the upper eye socket and cause me to get holes in my vision, like not dark or gray spots but just patches where I can't see anything but what I'm looking at still looks like a whole thing, like looking through a cracked window, and it last for an hour or more. Anyone know if that's a migraine or something else?

    I've experienced a visual aura a couple of years ago, and that usually led up to a headache. Sometimes it occurred when I looked at small screens, like on a Chromebook. Other times it happened when I looked at a projector screen when the lights were on. I haven't had one in years now, but when they did happen it was really annoying.

    Came here because yesterday I had a migraine and this morning I woke up and my right pupil was big. So I googled because I wondered if this was normal.
    Speaking of sympathetic nervous system, I also find that before a migraine my anxiety symptoms go all screwy.
    Edit. I also have Irlens Syndrome and the kind of yellow-green you mention as beneficial is one of the *worst* colours for me.

    Are floters the same as visual snow?

    • @UlrikR-nh5gs
      @UlrikR-nh5gs ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Floaters are tiny objects floating around in the fluids of your eyes. Visual snow (as described in the video) happens in your brains.

    • @freden9234
      @freden9234 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, migraines do not cause floaters. Floaters are caused by debris in the vitreous fluid of the eye. Flashes can be caused by retinal detachment. The visual effects described in the video are related to migraine.
