I don’t know if I use landscape photography as a excuse to spend time outdoors or if I spend time outdoors to do landscape photography ... I let you know when I figure it out
Last year, I took my step into the national guard by going through the training process required. I learned a lot about combat and working with others, but one thing that the Army has taught me about myself is that I need a way to relax on my own. Six months with no break wears you down. So about a month before I was set to go home, I thought about different chill hobbies I could get into. I chose landscape photography from looking at national park pictures I followed on Instagram. Looked like a good way to calm myself and enjoy a part of my life without depending on people. When I got home last month, I ordered a camera and have been doing my homework everyday so that when it comes in, I'll be ready to begin and learn. Mark, you've been a great help so far. I watch almost every video by you that pops up on my feed. You've taught me a lot about exposure, composition, appropriate aperture settings, white balance, how shutter speed affects your moving parts, or even layering photos with different focal points to create sharp images. If you are reading this, I just want to thank you for teaching me so much so far. Will always look forward to the next video and set of photos you have in store.
At my time of life, I’m not out there rushing around as I did when I was younger, so landscape photography for me is relaxation. I like to plan my shoots, get there early, set up the gear and get ready. I also prefer, when possible, to shoot where there is little or no people around as I find this puts me off sometimes. So I like the solitude and the peacefulness of just me and my camera.
G'day Robert... I'm in the same boat as yourself.. I like to pick the time and places that are very relaxing to be in.. If People are around then I move.. The older I get the more I want solitude and Peace....Stay safe Robert....
There is absolutely nothing better than watching the earth wake up. Watching the morning mist lift into the sky, the morning dew twinkling on a spiders web, the birds singing their morning song and that stunning morning light! If it weren’t for photography, specifically, landscape photography, I would have never witnessed it. While I love nature in all its beauty, and always take my camera everywhere, my absolute favorite is early morning shots! Thank you, Mark, for all the time you spend on these videos!
I'm an introvert. Being around more than one or two other people, especially if I don't know them, cranks my anxiety up to eleven. Five days a week (well, until recently) I schlep into a crowded DC on a crowded metro car, to work in a crowded office building and then come home on another crowded metro car to a small house in a crowded suburb. Landscape photography allows me to remove myself from all of that and be on my own away from people. It allows me to breathe. I can't afford to do what a lot of the big youtube names can do and shoot Iceland or the Faroe Islands or some other exotic locale to capture these crazy vistas, but give me some woods, or some hills or fields, and it can put me in a better headspace and allow me to think and contemplate my role on this crazy chunk of mud.
I exactly understand where you're coming from: although some have just adapted to the unnaturalness of it better than others, we simply weren't meant to live our entire lives in overcrowded concrete blocks.
Landscape photography is like that deep breath on top of the mountain. The better you capture it, the longer it fills your lungs and keeps you in contact with the nature.
I love landscape photography because it put me in connection with the nature, wakeup earlier, listening to the birds singing, the sound our feets make when it steps on the ground(covered by fallen leaves) while we walk around looking for the best spot, the sounds of a river flowing...etc etc... those things make you feel alive and can change your entire life if you let it become part of your soul. congrats for the 100k! and thank you for share with all of us... thank you! :)
I just love how landscape photography captures a moment in time. I take great satisfaction in showcasing the beauty of our planet and the atmosphere that protects us, which are depicted in landscape photography like no other. Above all else, it takes me to another place, a place to dream about the origins of life, our planet, the solar system and the wider Universe 🌏✨
Since my wife died I have found comfort in hill-walking, mountaineering, sea-scapes, forests and pretty much anywhere outdoors. I have a feeling that, by photographing them, I am somehow sharing the scenes/moments with her. Call me crazy................. Thanks for your continuing hard work in these hellish times Mark.Much appreciated.
I feel like landscapes are, esentially, just a portrait of the Earth. The unlimited amount of choices you have when shooting landscapes, even from home, can't be matched with any other trype of photography. The Earth is the best model we'll ever have.
As a little kid, I wanted to paint landscapes like my father did. But I didn't inherit his talent; I couldn't draw to save my life. Fortunately, I discovered Ansel Adams when I was a young teenager and I learned to create landscape images with a 35mm camera. I also discovered the fun of hiking, camping, fishing and hunting. Having a new backpack would be great to protect my camera gear while I continue exploring and enjoying Nature.
Landscape photography is the gift from mother nature you never know your going to get. Elation, disappointment, frustration and jubilation, each trip is different but that's what makes it so addictive. Print it and we relive it.
I love Landscape Photography because, at 73, I'm still passionate about "Writing with Light" and it gets me out into the environment and keeps me active.
Why I love landscape photography - It gives me freedom. I used to love hiking, but a few years ago I started suffering with panic attacks, which eventually made me a bit agoraphobic. When I take my camera out, I feel like I have a purpose to be outside, it grounds me, and encourages me to take things at a measured pace. It takes me to places that I wouldn't have dreamed of going since the panic began. I think beyond that it's just a really nice creative outlet for me.
Landscape photography is so different from all other types of photography. It allows me to get out of my comfort zone, travel to new destinations, explore hidden places and much more! Generally, people who are close to the nature and can feel it differently become landscape photographers. Clicking pictures, editing them while remembering the moments they were shot gives me a different feeling!
Landscape photography for me is experiencing mother nature, at her best and worst. The multitude of emotions it gives, peace, anger, harmony, frustration, and to be in a position to capture that raw emotion in an image can be satisfaction at it's best.
For me landscape photography is not just taking a picture and uploading it....it means a scene, it means captured time, it mean a memory... Special part of landscape is that it is a fresco ...whenever you would look back into these pictures the memory, the moments will flash back into your head and definitely would bring a smile 😊😊😊
My favorite part about landscape photography is the opportunity to visit different places and to find unique and creative ways to capture the beauty in front of you.
It's a reason. Landscape photography is a reason to discover new places, to look deeper and to follow new paths both physically and creatively. And the reward is a memory that you can hold in your hands to keep forever. I couldn't live without it.
I love landscape photography because I can do it alone. While I enjoy shooting with other people, landscape photography allows me to grab my gear and just go without worrying about anyone else’s schedule. I’ve been extremely stressed out worrying about family during this pandemic and photography has been a much needed escape. It keeps me grounded and allows me to appreciate the world around me without any added noise.
The thing I love most about landscape photography is it's ability to take me away from daily norms and refocus my brain. We're flooded with information these days and to get out and focus on nature reminds me what a beautiful world we live in.
Hi Mark! Why I like landscape photography is because I love taking photos of beautiful scenery, capturing something beautiful, but most of all, why I like landscape photography is because I love the outdoors! I like the cold mornings and hot evenings! I like the different elements of the weather! I like getting wet sometimes, I like the warm sun on my face! I love the smell of the area I’m in! And sometimes I might be just that little bit lucky, and take an amazing photo. But every time I go out! I treat every photography outing, without no expectation of getting a half decent photo! That’s what I like about landscape photography 😊
I love landscape/outdor photography for multiple reasons: - that is my main reason to go for a whole saturday "walk" and get fresh air out of the city; - I can most of the time motivte my girlfriend to go out of the house with me; - it is the only reason why I would got up really early; - I love the uncertainty, the wind and sun can make or break a picture in 30sec; - pushing me to travel more and more! - the risk and rewark: going some place you know, some place you don't know, more or less prepared, and sometimes coming back home with the one, sometimes just a good trip and memories, sometimes nothing ^^.
Landscape photography is an opportunity to remind ourselves and others about the beauty that exists everyday and how lucky we are to have this planet we call home.
Landscape photography has helped me with my depression and anxiety, because when I get myself out of the house and on location, I'm focused only on the scene and nature around me and forget all the sh*t in my head. It's therapeutic. And I love to watch the seasons change offering new compositions even in familiar places.
Unlike most people my age, I like landscape photography because it feels like I'm making an art piece rather than shooting something flashy that just catches the eye and gets forgotten the very next moment.
A few years back I realised that landscape photography and nature photography in general combines many of the things I love and appreciate: being in nature, hiking, exploring, engaging the creative side of me and the technicality of camera equipment. Those are the reasons why nature photography and especially landscape photography suits me so well.
I made most of my outdoor experience as a solo traveler and explorer. It was not a choice but circumstances. To come back home with at least ONE good shot no longer matters to me, this mindset only ruined my overall experience. Landscape photography is now for me an opportunity for self-reflection, a way to enjoy solitude (not loneliness) and to build a bridge with nature. And that's why I love it.
Currently I find myself loving landscape photography (and astrophotography) as much as I do because it's the one place in my life that is mostly sitting still and quiet. I have a dog that barks way to much, a 9 year old that can't sit still learning from home, or playing video games, a wife teaching from home and a three year old pushing every button she can. When I get the chance to run away and take photos it's quiet and still and my camera is the only thing that really needs my attention. It's freeing. Then, once I have the images, I can look back to them for that moment of zen during the crazy days.
For years I was an avid indoorsman 🤓, occasionally venturing out only in big cities to photograph street scenes. Discovering landscape photography has given me a hightened sensitivity to my surroundings, and continues to entice me to embark on outdoor adventures - even in my own backyard. I also now possess a steadfast sense of responsibility to the environment and want my photography to inspire others to feel the same.
Landscape photography is my absolute getaway. I grew up in the country and now live in the city. Landscape photography gives me reason to load up the car and do some much needed "gravel travel"; taking me back to my roots. Thanks for your videos, I look forward to them all.
Why do I love Landscape photography..... There isn't a better feeling than seeing how something developed on its own, over thousands of years. No drug can ever match that feeling you get when you see something Mother Nature took her time and created. You'll never get that feeling from any other genre of Photography. It's nice taking portraits and seeing the smiles on people face but that overwhelming rush of calm, amazement, and pure joy from seeing an amazing landscape is unmatched. I personally love trees and I'm constantly amazed how one tree can look so different then the one right next to it. Sorry this got long. Congratulations on 100k!
Six years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, I had surgery, radiation treatments every day for weeks then two years of hormone therapy and today I am cancer free. In my one year post surgery visit with my urologist I asked him "what should I do now?" His answer was perfect "live life!" You can't believe the chord that struck within my soul. Having a supportive and loving family is so important, but I had to grab this opportunity and experience each day as if it was special, which they all are. Photography especially shooting landscapes has helped me "live life" in such an enjoyable and fulfilling way. Life is precious and short, photography deepens the experience for me in such a wonderful way..
Landscape photography gives me reasons to go to the places where I wouldn't otherwise. For me, it's not just taking a nice picture and come back home. From setting up the camera, waiting for the right time, and taking the picture, to finally editing them in front of my computer desk: I simply enjoy the whole process.
Being somewhat type A, which is a nice way of saying a little anxious and high strung, I used to rush every part of my outdoor experience. Rush to the trailhead, rush to get to the viewpoint, rush back to the car, rush to the requisite after hike burger and beer. Landscape photography helped me slow down, relax, and really enjoy the outdoors. Looking for compositions over the years has forced me to "stop to smell the roses" and really be present. One day I realized I was actually enjoying the journey instead of just rushing to the next destination. Ultimately Landscape Photography has been one of several life lesson that contributed to positive change in my view of life. F8 and be there!
Landscape/seascape photography is my favourite genre. Living on the east coast of Australia there is nothing better than watching the sunrise over the ocean, the peace and calmness before the crowds flood through. And the fact that no 2 days are the same, the environment is constantly alive
I don't know if you realize this or not, but you are an incredible teacher. Myself and most other subscribers learn something valuable after watching each and every one of your videos. You are literally saving us newer photographers years of trial and error, so for that, I thank you, Mr. Denney.
I love landscape photography because the challenge is often not to create a work of art, but to document a natural work of art in a way that other people can appreciate what my own eye did in person.
Landscape photography allows me to spend time in nature, hear the birds and the blowing leaves, spend time alone and relax. It also allows me to exercise as I mostly hike to get the picture I want. Finally, having to concentre on all the technical aspect of photography allows me to forget everything and just enjoy the moment.
My love for landscape photography is combined with my love for being outdoors and in nature. It's like when you see a small baby, its eyes are so big and looking at everything. It's curious, what's this, what's that. It's seeing and taking in everything for a first time. When I'm in outside in nature, I am the same way. I'm looking at the trees, the mountains, the rocks, the clouds, the creek, the animals, anything and everything. I just feel so thirsty for life. My favorite part about landscape photography is that I get to share that thirst with others. Show others this amazing planet we live on. Explore + find wonderful places to introduce to others. :)
Landscape photography makes me see life moving right in front my lenses in a less diluted way, concentrated, makes all of us picture the life in a different perspective, out of the nutshell, makes me feel.
Landscape photography has changed my life in ways I couldn't imaging. I started to get into photography in general about 6 years ago, after my divorce, and it's allowed me to see good in the world when at times things seemed bleak. I could have easily focused on the negative things in life, but capturing a waterfall while the sun shoots through the mist, allows me to know that life had some amazing things if you know where to look. I appreciate your content, and hope you and your family stay well!
One of the fantastic things about landscape photography is that with any given 'subject' (scene/location), there is an almost unlimited number of completely different photographs to take - limited only by the imagination and creativity of the photographer. You can take in a wide angle, zoom in on a rock or a dune or a tree, shoot through a leaf canopy, make reflections in the water your subject.... and then you can come back in a different season or under different conditions and do it all again.
What I enjoy the most about landscape photography is that it gives us an amazing possibility to actually freeze in time the moments of those looks on the landscapes which we all love. So the memory never fades.
Landscape photography truly is my moment of zen. From plannig where to go, to getting a composition, setting up the tripod and dialing in settings, to editing the photo, it all just calms me. I'm sort of naturally anxious and the solitude and quiet of landscape photography is really calming for me.
You know, Mark....I have been taking photographs for almost 40 years and I must say, your videos are a breath of fresh air. Workflow is always an issue when trying to maximize the value of your image/expression. This video sets things out so simply and your methodology in sharing your insight captures my attention completely and is also very motivational. One never stops learning in this field and you share things so effectively and openly, it is a delight. When you look at a video posting you always look at the time and this can inhibit anyone from watching. But you have found the magical formula of communicating the most with the most effective use of time. Thank you
Discovering new places and the thrills we seek from it ,sometimes disappointment as the place doesn’t give in to our expectations, waking up early, hard grind up the hill, waiting for the light when the world is asleep, making pictures which I think will be award winning😂,having a cup of tea after a satisfactory work, simple things which we cherish a life time are just priceless.🙏
I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. My wife grew up here and her family has been here since the 1600s. Landscape photography here is mainly seascapes. However, what I love about landscape photography overall is the feelings a well done image can evoke. Watching a sunrise over the Atlantic from a local beach creates a zen-like sense of calm and tranquility. I know that sense of peace is what attracted my wife's family here so many years ago. I also know that a printed image of this sunrise can evoke those same feelings in somebody living in Manhattan in NYC or on a farm in Nebraska. I watch channels like yours because creating an image that is evocative is equal parts art and technical excellence. Watching your channel helps me on both fronts.
No other type of photography exhibits the same thrill that landscape photography offers. Nothing compares with travelling with fellow Photographers to a location, witnessing beautiful light catching on the vista that you’re photographing or a perfectly clear night for astrophotography and capturing the scene you’ve envisioned. Luck plays a huge part as I’m sure we’ve all experienced unfavourable conditions, however when the stars align (sometimes literally) and everything is in your favour, nothing beats that feeling of pure euphoria (or I call it, photographers high). Congrats on the achieving this milestone! You deserve it all.
I picked up landscape photography a few years ago as something to do on long work trips. With the camera in hand I found I learned a lot more about the places I was visiting and captured memories that will last a life time. Last year I retired and now have more time for photography and exploring closer to home. For example, yesterday I spent two hours out on Falls Lake with the camera and kayak - first time in a while since the lake has been closed under the Stay at Home order. But, I have a lot to learn so keep those tips coming!!
Landscape photography is my favorite for a few reasons. One-- because the world is a beautiful place and worth saving. People only care about things they know about. Capturing the beauty of nature might help inspire someone to want to protect it. I love landscape photography because it gets me up early in the morning before the sun comes up so I can shiver in the cold and truly appreciate the transition from blue hour into golden hour. I stand around watching the scene, watching the people come and go. I look over at what the other photographers are doing, and just have a quiet hour or so snapping though the event before going back to camp for breakfast and a nap. For me, it's about trying to just enjoying the outside and the calm and if it results in a nice photo? Even better. The main goals are to experience something and hopefully learn something in the process.
Several months ago I bought my first real camera because I wanted to spend more time in nature and I felt that taking photos would aid me. It has! I live in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and until lockdown I went to the park most every week, sometimes before dawn and after sunset. Life is often hectic, messy, filled with things that pull me away from the beauty and goodness of creation. Landscape photography enables me to escape for a little while into a place of beauty, purity and serenity. Whether, it be a great vista , a waterfall, or a nature trail I stand in awe with a great peace surrounding me. My heart leaps, I become mindful and I say, “Thank You God!” Afterwards, I find myself returning to normal life with a bit of that peace with me. I can look at my photos anytime and find myself transported right back to that special place. Landscape photography is where I truly want to be.
What I enjoy most about Landscape Photography is that it's difficult, and there's no cheating mother nature in the process. It requires me to slow down and study the light. And every once in a while the "stars align" so to speak, and I get it right ... all of the elements come together to make a nice image. Those times make it worth all the effort.
What's not to like, as Mats said. I don't have to schedule an appointment with a client or model, fight crowds at an event, compete with other photographers on the red carpet or at rallies and for the most part, it's stress free. This does not mean it's easy but it's always enjoyable; and besides the exercise benefits and fresh air, I love the discoveries visiting new locations.
Take a look at a photo from the same composition from 10 different photographers. You know what you will see? 10 different photos. And everyone of them are special. No matter how many people take a photo from the same location, each and one of them will give you a different feeling. Because Landscape photography is such a personal thing. When you edit it, you don’t realize that You are expressing your feelings into the image. We all see the same thing but the experience is so different. Thats why I love Landscape photography.
For me landscape photography is often an escape from the busy work day. It offered a chance to step back and take everything in. The sights, sounds, smells. In recent months it has helped me rediscover what’s around me year at home and be a reminder that with all the craziness we have in the world right now there’s still peace and beauty out there if we just take a moment and look.
The main reason why I love landscape photography is simply because I want others to see what I see. It's difficult to share with others what you're seeing with your eyes, so the best way is to try and snap a photo and basically try to capture what your natural eyes saw. It will never be the same, but I feel that the energy and effort you put into trying to snap that perfect pictures shows when others take a glimpse at it. And if they can get some of that awe you saw, then it makes everything worth it. Great video btw thanks for the tips!
One of the things I love about landscape photography is the ephemeral nature of light moving over land, and being present in a brief window of time to capture that moment.
I have always been a nature girl. I enjoy the peacefulness of sitting for hours watching a dramatic sunset. I enjoy getting up early to get that epic sunrise, I’m intrigued by waterfalls and the history of lighthouses. Landscape photography for me is capturing those moments because it paints a beautiful story each time. I enjoy to share those moments and stories with others to make everyone smile.
For me the beauty of landscape photography is finding beautiful compositions in seemingly arbitrary locations. A normal tree in a forest, when positioned right at a moment of nice lighting can create an amazing picture. I personally like printing and hanging landscape shots in my room, just to look back at the picture and remember the state of emotion I was in in that moment, be that happy, sad, wandering, amazed, ...
Being a landscape photographer allows me to recharge my batteries and empty my head and just focus on my image and the beautiful nature around me - gives me serenity and great experiences :-)
For me landscape photography has been a way to escape the noise and chaos of my normal daily life. There are few things I enjoy more than being on the edge of a lake or in the mountains at sunrise, when everything is quiet and peaceful
I love nature and that's why I do landscape photography. In the nature I don't have to deal with everyday worries. There's nothing better than hiking through gorgeous forests, listening to the birds singing and seeing how nature changes over the seasons. Being able to capture these beautiful moments makes me energized and relaxed. 💚
Landscape photography is the best “excuse” to not sit on the couch 😀 for me it was the best way to get out into the nature again. Keeps you in shape and there is nothing better than being out in Mother Nature 🌲
I love landscape photography because of how quiet nature is. If I was not doing any landscape photography, I would not get up at 5AM in the morning and get the best quiet time of the day with nature.
Things change very slowly on most landscapes, so we're actually photographing the past, present and expected future. How cool is that a single exposure of a fraction of a second contains so much history in it. Thousands of years of existence, humans and other animals that have crossed and will cross that same land. That's what moves me. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
Landscape changes my life. From a man that was sitting at home, looking for a place to hangout or what food to eat every weekend, I'm now looking for a next mountain to hike, next building to climb, darkest places to shoot astro. I even watch more sunrise and sunset in last few years since I start shooting more than my entire life. It like I just find the purpose to live on - to explore the world as much as I can.
What I like about landscape photos is the challenge of the capture of the image, then the pride of that capture and the memory of the place I captured.
I think the most valuable thing about my landscape photos is that they remind me all sorts of emotions that accompanied me during the first visit in particular location
Mark, It's too ironic. I went out on a day trip today to practice landscape photography and only 10 minutes in I realized I need a better bag. The sling bag I have just doesn't cut it. I recently finished grad school (in my late 40's) and knew I needed to find a new hobby to dive into, since school had taken all my extra capacity for the last several years. Now free of the scholar headlock, I am able to get back outside and lose my self. Your videos, as well as other photographer's videos, have opened a door for me and allowed me to gain insight on a world I didn't know much about (especially post processing). Keep it up! Marc (with a C for cool).
Landscape photography is a gateway to reconnecting with nature, our need of nature, our awe and appreciation of nature. Landscape photography is one of the ways to break the chains that big concrete cities impose on us. Congratulations on your channel growth, Mark! Wish you all the best
Landscape photography is almost like a meditative experience. I enjoy the solitude. It's an excuse to "unplug." It allows me to clear my brain while taking in the beautiful world around me without the distractions of everyday life.
When I was 15, I dove into photography and videography on my own. I made my own gear at first and worked really hard every summer at a landscaping job to get a chance to be out taking more photos and making more videos. The hardest problem became my gear wearing down, for I didn’t have the proper gear to take very precious care of it. For years my camera has been my life line and I i’ll-knowingly risked breaking it from either bringing it in a backpack to shoot a project after school or on a hike out in the midwest in the middle of no where to capture something great. Now, after doing it for a few years I have found great joy in making videos and many people in my area have recognized my work. This fall I am finally going off to college in Phoenix and I genuinely dont know how i’m going to keep my gear safe, and my bag currently makes it very hard to get around. The zipper came off the tracks and almost fully ripped off from the bag. Lately times have been really challenging and after the virus hit, I have basically lost everything. As i enter a new environment full of new landscapes hopefully in the near future, I would love to be fully prepared for when life picks back up. As I go on to my next step in life, I want my cameras to come with me. Thank you.
I love landscape photography because this is the only way to escape from my boring 9-5 life. I really enjoy the day when I can go outdoors, sit on my mat with a cup of hot brew and wait for the perfect moment to take a photo :)
I love lanscape photography because everytime I get to go out and shoot a different place, see something new, and share my love of the outdoors with my kids.
Landscape photography is actually quite a peaceful, relaxing pastime for me. I usually go hiking and take my camera with me, and it's a good amount of time spent recharging in the outdoors, away from the internet and the constant distractions found therein. An escape from the world while experiencing the world.
I recently bought a camera so I could take better photos rather than just snapshots with my cell phone of the all the different places I plan on visiting. Landscape photography is something I enjoy not just because I get to share and hopefully inspire others to get out and see the world but because one day I want to be able to look back at all the places that I have/will visit and relive those moments. I don't want to forget what it was like to be somewhere and try to imagine what something was like for me. Having great photos to help tell my lifes story will only make it better.
My favorite aspect of landscape photography is that it brings me back to the moment I was there, experiencing the sights, sounds and feel of an enjoyable place. The images make it much easier to remember good times outdoors.
Landscape photography not only allows me to spend more time in nature and to see amazing places, it gives me a new perspective on my surroundings as it forces me to look at things a different way.
Landscape photography allows me to reset my clock, to get away from the hectic affairs of a day or week, be just alone for myself for a while, and to keep some nice remembrances.
I chose landscape photography partly because I'm partially blind. I do see pretty fine, but what I capture on film, and now digital blows me away! I will say, everyone that I've inspired to pick up photography agree with me that it helps you to actively look for beauty everywhere. It's medicine for the soul!
Our support is all your fault, Mark. If you didn’t continue to provide informative, concise content to us on a regular ongoing basis with your easy listening no nonsense style, we wouldn’t be here. So, Thank You for doing what You do. Well done and congratulations, definitely deserved. I for one am not going anywhere. I look forward to being a part of your 200,000 and more subscribers.
I'm a 3D animator, i'm behind the screen all the time, i find Landscape photography as an escape of the routine job, i find it as a peace of mind to be in nature and vistas and what more to enjoy nature and what most to take a picture of the beauty, when i joined this channel i learned a lot of you Mark, i want to say thank you for every moment you share with us and every support and every tutorial u teach us, Congratulation for the 100K and hope that more will come, Thank you.
Thanks so much for all the support - it means the world to me!!

Thank you! Congrats on the 100k!!!
Love your straight forward approach and sharing your past “mistakes” that led to your success/story...so relatable

I don’t know if I use landscape photography as a excuse to spend time outdoors or if I spend time outdoors to do landscape photography ... I let you know when I figure it out
Interesting question Frank ! I'm on the side "an excuse to spend time outdoors" exploring and enjoying places ...
Favorite part of landscape photography is just being outdoors. That inner peace is worth so much.
Last year, I took my step into the national guard by going through the training process required.
One of the things I love most about landscape photography is watching the sun come up, and the day come alive.
I love landscape photography because it put me in connection with the nature, wakeup earlier, listening to the birds singing, the sound our feets make when it steps on the ground(covered by fallen leaves) while we walk around looking for the best spot, the sounds of a river flowing...etc etc... those things make you feel alive and can change your entire life if you let it become part of your soul.
congrats for the 100k! and thank you for share with all of us... thank you! :)
Congrats on 100,000 subscribers ! Soon 1 million 🥳🥳🥳
My favorite part of landscape photography is that the subject is still and doesn't talk back or complain.
For me, what I love about landscape photography is how limitless it is and how it lets me show the raw perspective of nature itself
The best thing about landscape photography is that it usually gets me outside and allows me to experience nature.
I love landscape/outdor photography for multiple reasons:
- that is my main reason to go for a whole saturday "walk" and get fresh air out of the city;
- I can most of the time motivte my girlfriend to go out of the house with me;
- it is the only reason why I would got up really early;
- I love the uncertainty, the wind and sun can make or break a picture in 30sec;
- pushing me to travel more and more!
Landscape photography allows me to not only create something beautiful, but to experience it first hand. Doesn't get much better than that.
Some really useful advice there Mark. Congrats on the 100k!
Landscape photography because taking a picture of beautiful scenery helps me relive the peacefulness over and over again
My favorite part of landscape photography is being able to share with my friends and family the places I get to visit and explore!
I like the peace that nature brings while out taking landscape photos. Getting away from the city, being alone, enjoying a sunset. It’s the best!
Landscape photography for me is a motivation to go out more, to explore more, to see all the beautiful, natural places on the earth.
The best part of landscape photography for me, is sharing the beauty I see on my walks and hikes with the world.
My head is always so clear when I’m out in nature. Taking photos captures these moments of clarity for me, and allows me to take them anywhere!
its about being outside without the phone, enjoying the silence, finding peace in yourself and experiencing that specific moment
What I like in landscape photography is capturing the beauty of nature and being in peaceful, quiet environment.
