- In this tutorial Ben, our in-house trainer, will be showing you how to use EmberGen's looping tools to create short, repeating VFX assets that can be brought into an After Effects scene and added to your own footage!

Amazing to see the BFX folks getting some cool tutorials!
Fantastic tutorial - thank you!!
please include more example projects of dust impacts and concussive "bang!" powder explosions, not slow gasoline explosions. the former is much more challenging.
Noted!
fire super
Yeah thats cool. But how to match same camera angle created in various 3d software?? How to export camera??
Stick with us, we will get to it! Is there specific 3D software you have in mind?
@@benharkervfx Like c4d, blender
export FBX camera import FBX camera to EMBERJAM
@@xpez9694 hold tight, we're going over the import node, fbx, and cameras a little this week!
When is the part two going to launch plz? For compositing...waiting desparately...as i already purchased embergen😢
Soon, it's being put together now!
Hey, I had to rename a bunch of projects and now their paths in the app are invalid. Is it possible to just remove the icons for the old projects so I only see the accessible ones with new names? Would be nice to have "my projects" tab clean again.
I'd like to ask you a question.I made a vertex color note animation from C4D and then gave it to the model. After importing to embergen, only one frame of vertex color animation was recognized. Why not recognize the animation😂
What is the difference between premultiply alpha and straight, what scenarios do they fit?
th-cam.com/video/XobSAXZaKJ8/w-d-xo.html
Highly depends on whether or not you need it premultiplied. Captain disillusion.. disillusions it in the link above.
How to export realistic fire to render in blender VDB, the fire look amazing in embergen, but export VDB to Blender is pixelated, Help... :/
We're getting there. We're going to cover workflows in each tool.
@@jangafx Yesss please 🙏
@@jangafx But I have seen that people have achieved it, but they do not explain how, there is perhaps no tutorial that manually gives a satisfactory and realistic result, I know that even natively it is not achieved, but how do others do it so that their fires are so realistic as in embergen, thanks.
and this works for the clouds? I am getting started so this is one thing I was hoping to achieve...
Yep! You can totally make clouds with EmberGen.
@@jangafx I was curious if you could loop the clouds.. it seems like you can with the loop simulation!
is anyway I can slow down the simulation? I try to make a large smoke, but it move too fast.
You would have to do it in post with "Optical flow" calculations.
@@jangafx but I want to use as VDB in UE5, and the smoke are interacting with the character in sequencer
@@weijunchen1290 We don't have a way to retime in EmberGen right this second. You could potentially retime the VDB's in houdini.
