Seiko Sumo Hulk vs Blumo, Gen 1 vs Gen 3 SPB103 vs SBDC003 Which is the better?

Seiko Sumo Hulk Vs Blumo watch review. I compare the first generation (2007) verses the Newest generation 3 (2017) What are the differences and similarities of these to watches and would I recommend them. This is a larger dive watch 45mm with a 52mm wing span but still manages to wear very nicely on my 7 inch wrist.

I own the SBDC033 second generation Blumo and it’s my best and favorite watch in my collection. I did add a Marine Master clasp to the stock Sumo bracelet. My wrist size is 7.25 and fits perfectly 👍🏻💯

I found a really nice 1st gen Blumo. On a thick brown straight leather strap it is a subdued looker.

Bought a NOS Seiko solar SNE449P1 it has not gained or lost any time since I got it. It could be your only watch beyond impressed with it.

Great choice! Quartz watches in general are much more accurate then a mechanical watch thats for sure.

Nice comparison. This watch has been on my short list for a while now, I'll need to keep my eye on used listings. I know gen 3 is a technically superior watch, but I really prefer the chunky bezel markings and larger indices of gen 1. That may be why I've been so hesitant to purchase one. I guess you found the perfect solution - get both! How much do they weigh? Also, no one else has chimed in yet, so I would like to say that I would appreciate a cyclops video that includes sourcing, the types of adhesive suitable, installing them so that they are straight, and removing them.

Sorry getting back to you so late. No idea how much it weighs but it is hefty. I have done a video on how to install and remove cyclops. Best place to purchase cyclops and adhesive is Ali Express

My wrist is under 7 ,but my first gen sumo looks just just like on your wrist. 😊 It's because I have a flat wrist,that's the secret. People with flat wrists can wear larger watches without looking ridiculous
