Congrats to Faceless on the wins! As a casual player who’s come back for Teek after 20 years away, I echo your invitation to give the server a try. I’ve been having a blast, getting to see more of the game, and getting better geared, than I was ever able to back in the day.
Had a blast for my first expansion launch! Can't imagine how much work and prep goes into organizing all those splits and herding that many cats and still having it go so incredibly smoothly.
Reading your comments has me realizing that the EQ community is just getting old & grumpy lol.. Why are people mad/judging that you're discussing the events that happened on Velious Launch? It's literally a podcast with THAT title.. That being said, I find these super interesting to hear, as I am playing on Tormax, and I want to stay updated on Teek. Our paces are SIGNIFICANTLY different, and if you're someone in this comment section who think it's 'cringe' that he's celebrating fast-pace wins, then maybe you're on the wrong TLP :)

@@FacelessZaide RI I assume? They keep chirping about coming to Tormax to ruin our progression, so it's my only guess (they did it to us on Oakwynd too lol).. Nowhere near ST clear yet unfortunately. About 12 keys done, and many to go. I'd say majority is cleared, with NToV + ST in the horizon.
As a lifetime human monk since pre Kunark in 1999, I was super disappointed when you said you woke the Sleeper on day one, until you explained 1.0 loot stays on the table. I still have screenshots of my shrouds I earned in the past and cherish that item to this day. Maybe I need to play this rando loot server one of these days.

Long time / Former P99er. I was planning on playing Teek but stumbled on Lazarus EQ (mutlibox serv w/ MQ2 encouraged) so that had my attention for a while. Every time I'd go into GoD or OoW zones I thought "Man I wish I could've played this back in the day". I've played as much as I am really interested in doing on Lazarus so I just made a toon on Teek. I've done most of Velious on P99 so I am going to focus on getting 60 and geared for Luclin in a few months. Great podcast! Worked on building my LEGO Ferrari Daytona SP3 as I listened along.
Well Done sounds like it was exciting. Looks like Williamleburn down there is a little butt hurt. Must be frustrating to have spies in your officer chat and have nothing better to say than " you more the goal posts".

I love how proud people get about "winning" these TLP races vs 1 or 0 other guilds that are actually competing lol. It's like a guy in a sports car sitting next to a soccer mom in a minivan at a red light. Sure you can slam the gas on green and pat yourself on the back for winning the race, but there was no race. That other car is just casually cruising to the beach with the kids. There's a very small subset of EQ player that cares about PvE racing and every single server they all consolidate into 1 or 2 guilds. It's not exactly what most people would consider a highly competitive environment 😂
@@JCR4990 Every guild needs to find things to be proud of to maintain an effective membership basis. Whether it’s speed, not boxing, OW dominance etc. Guilds which don’t find something to hang their hats on usually don’t last very long.

Congrats to Relentless Insomnia for clearing every single open world tier 1 mob on teek this morning. No other guild has done it yet on Teek and at the speed on ANY TLP previous....a world record that will be echoed for many years to come.

RI 0/2 on T1 DPS races against Faceless and we don’t even care about OW. I’ve been doing TLPs since 2011 and you guys are the worst I’ve ever played against. It’s just free.

Don't even care about records but chased a record with 400 people in a zone night one. 0/2 in T1 DPS Races, want to check to see how many Trakanon races you guys lost to RI in Kunark on Teek? How about Sev's? How about the iconic DPS loss where your buddy Phatez was snoozin at the computer and died AFK while Trakanon and VS popped and you lost there too? You seem to have a short memory on the big L's you took. If RI kicking you around winning 5x more OW mobs than you in Kunark and winning more heads up races and what is RI up to now? 30 to 3 in Velious, if RI is the "worst" you've ever seen? Whats the best? TEQ? They were a zerg too but atleast they were able to lock down OW

It was trivial without tower gear. It’s trivial after tower gear. That doesn’t change the fact that coordinating a mass of players to do many thing simultaneously as quickly as you can is a fun and challenging experience. Also, who cares what anyone enjoys or takes pride in. Lmaoo.
