My mom and one of my sisters joined me for shopping later in the video and they found some great vintage pieces too.

Love your Mom.😊
She’s a sweetie!
Cindy thanks for your shopping spree. I enjoyed every minute looking at all the the interesting goods. ❤to your mom and sister.
Thanks Pam! I'm so glad you enjoyed the shopping trip. I will pass on the ❤️ to my mom and sister!
I love the blue willow, thanks for posting. I live in Delaware also😊
Those dishes are gorgeous! So glad you are in Delaware too! It's a great little state!
Lots of cool stuff! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks for watching Candace!😊
Love that make it and take it idea! Can't wait to come down from PA to visit these shops!
I hope you get a chance to head to Delaware! The make it and take will be a hit! I can’t wait to go to my first one😊
Great virtual shopping trip!! Love it ❤. I really like the make it, take it concept.
Oh my, I remember having a suitcase like the blue one, with the tea cups in it. Except my suitcase was white with a light blue material interior. I used that suitcase when I spent the weekend with my grandparents.
I agree with you, loved the library lamp, my great grandmother had one on her desk, the light globe was gold glass .
Thank you for taking me with you thrift/antique shopping.
Donna, your suitcase sounds like it held more than clothes. It also held memories for you and that’s really special 😊 as for the library I might have to go back and get it! It was only $48 and I thought that was a good price.
Thanks for sharing you thrift outing with your family! My sister would swoon over all that milk glass! 😃
Wasn't the milk glass amazing?? It was a huge display! Thanks for stopping by my friend!
Ohhhh lots of goodies. If only I had room. Enjoyed the video.
There are so many great vintage finds out in this world! I do alot of window shopping and browsing so I don't fill up my house! Thanks for your kind words!
Such a fun shopping spree! Enjoyed it immensely. First video I ever watched of yours was of your booth. I fell in love with it. I then had to watch every video. Only to find you had given up your booth. That's ok, I am never disappointed in your videos. But should you ever decide ' just like that feeling you had today ' to do a booth again it would be spectacular . Thanks Cindy for all your work to give great content and inspiration.
Thanks Gerry! Your continued support means a lot to me! We’ll see what the future in regards to having that booth space 🥰
This is awesome you take us with you! I wouldn’t know these were there since I live in Wilmington now! I spent 20+ years south of the canal! ❤
That’s awesome! The lower end of the state is pretty special. The northern end is lovely too! Thanks for watching 😊
So many cool, shabby chic looking pieces in the thrift stores. Pretty much loved it all. But I was wondering about the birdfeeders that were on the spindle table legs with the pie pans? Actually, they were cake pans on top. If you don’t cover the birdseed, the first rain ruins it so if you make one of your own… maybe get a smaller pan on the bottom, a little bit larger pan on the top. Let the spindle go through both so that you have a little bit of a cover over the seed? Just an idea to make it function a little better unless it’s a birdbath then it won’t matter if it rains on it.😊
I live that idea about the bird feeder. I did make one in another video. I only put a small amount of seed in it at a time so I don’t waste it. Thanks for watching!
What a great video, Cindy! Having mom & Laurie there really added to the adventure. I love the crock you bought from Wilderlove-it’s right down your alley for your collection 😄🥰
Thanks, Patti. We had a nice time together! I love the little crock too. I’ll be showing how I use it in an upcoming video.🥰

I just love going on these outings with you, Cindy, and you are so lucky to be able to shop with your Mom and sister! I saw so many things that peaked my interest, and my rule is that I have to absolutely love it to bring it home with me! I've been on the look out for Ironstone, but it is SO hard to find in my area! I'm so envious of your collection! 🙂Say hello to Steve!
I’m so glad you enjoy shopping with me! It was fun meeting up with my mom and sister this time. That’s always special😊 I wish you could find ironstone! 🥰
Oh how I envy you. I wish my town would have a few antique/vintage stores. I think we have 2 n so small of a place n prices are ridiculous. I saw so many cool stuff n wishing I was there to buy some of that cool stuff. It’s so much fun doing that n you’re right you don’t have to buy everything but you can do wishful thinking. Those first few stores you went to I thought the prices were really good. Now the last store was a little over priced on some things. Either way Cindy, I had a good time seeing all those goodies n doing a lot of wishful thinking.
♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟🥰
I did a lot of wishful thinking right along side you Shelly. There are so many cool things to find at these places. Window shopping and browsing is enjoyable to and I’m so glad you came along with me🥰🥰
I got a similar pot from Goodwill but mine has a handle on the back and a spout on the front. Come to find out it is a “Cowboy Coffee Pot.” It’s HUGE. Anyway, added some faux sunflowers and is going in my booth this weekend.
That sounds awesome! I bet the sunflowers look amazing in it🌻
Ok, you may get a lot of questions from me cause you are my expert go to person!
I have 2 vintage, hard back Samsonite suitcases. I have started cleaning them they are a beige color, and they have beautiful brass latches and a leather handle. My plan is to paint them and then apply rub on transfers.
What do you recommend for cleaning the brass as well as the proper paint and technique? They belonged to our 99 year old aunt who passed away 2 years ago.
Thanks Cindy for your advice and help!
Hi Joyce! Feel free to ask questions anytime and I will do my best to help you 🥰I suggest you use a product called Earth Brite on the brass. It works wonders in metals! You can see how I use it in this video: th-cam.com/video/sZvffsnvFfU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=envH9v49EROc3Zks I have the product linked in the description of that video. As for paint, I would use Dixie Belle chalk mineral paint. Their Silk line of paint has a built in primer and sealer so it makes it easy to use! I have several colors linked in that same video but you might see other colors you like for your suitcase when you visit the Dixie Belle website. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask😊
Cindy, I have a question that has nothing to do with this current video. Fairly new follower and I’m Having loads of fun watching older videos. I just watched the one where you painted the tote bag. I have a camper that has cloth valances that I would like to paint. Please give me advice.
First thanks for watching my older videos! It really helps to breathe new life into them so others can see them too😊 As for the fabric, it would be a good idea to test it in an inconspicuous area if possible. I can’t speak for other paint but Dixie Belle chalk paint acts like a stain on fabrics when it is thinned slightly with water. The type of fabric makes a difference too. Natural fibers soak up the color well where as synthetic fabrics might not. I really suggest testing if at all possible 😊 I hope this helps!
Are the tiny ironstone plates yours?
I wish! Actually, I have stacks of ironstone butter pats. They are one of my favorite vintage pieces to collect 😊
I love antique and vintage mismatch decor 6:10
Where I live in Ohio it is not a popular decor style.
That’s too bad, Rosemary. I am in the camp of decorate the way you like best for your home 😊
Picture is kind of to dark to see.
Sorry! 😊
