I enjoy your channel. You are such an inspiration to me. I was born in Delaware 68 years ago, so I like your channel & enjoy your outdoor scenes. You explain each step for each step in a project. Thank you so much!
I want to be you when I grow up. Right now I work a lot so I don’t have time to do all these homey things but when I retire I would love to make soaps, and butter, and such to share with my family. You are just so sweet and you bring such light and positivity to my life. Thank you!
That’s a sweet thing to say Mollie🥰 you will get to do these things one day! BTW, making the melt and pour soap only takes minutes! It’s an easy way to do a fun little project😊
I'm catching up on some of your videos that I haven't seen, and I wanted to tell you another story that I hope will encourage you. I was ill and hospitalized for 4 months in 2022. I was terribly weak and on o2 when I came home. I'm so much better now and no longer require o2, praise God! As I was recovering, I had a lot of downtime, so I watched a lot of TH-cam, including yours. The videos gave me inspiration to do little projects to keep me busy as I gained back my health. I just do things for my home and for gifts. Last week, I gave a friend a gift I had made and she loved it so much she sent me a picture of it in her home. She had been a little depressed and it made her day. So you see, the blessing you gave me, I was able to pass on to another. Thank you for sharing your gift! I am planning on making both the soap and the yogurt next. God bless!
Well your sweet, sweet comment just made my day! It’s such a blessing to my heart to know that you found inspiration here and that I played a little part in it. The Lord knows just what we need when we need it. Today, I needed your encouragement and He used you to send encouragement my way! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I am sure He will continue to use you as a blessing to others including me🥰 praise Him for your health and for getting better! Thank you again and I hope you have a blessed day🥰
Me, again. I have made butter with a manual, wooden paddle. When I was in grade school, that was my first chore on Saturday morning. I hated it! Now, I think it would be fun. Also, I have helped my Amon make lye soap outside in a cast iron wash pot. Yeah, I’m old.
We often end up loving the very things we hated as kids! Hubby and I are looking for a vintage butter churn - I would love to have one. Thanks for watching! 😊
@@ReinventedDelaware Hi! Yes! We only went to town about once a month, we had everything on farms, worked from dawn to dusk, hard work good memories! Thanks! 🤗🥰

I am really appreciating the ideas you have for repurposing thrift finds. i am not into re-selling at this point in life but i am enjoying your encouraging words and projects. Keep up the goodness. PS just tried the smoothy with our homemade yogurt and strawberries, Yum! I am OK with the speed of the ff video and i am visually challenged.
I’m so glad you enjoy the inspiration here. I used to sell our items in a local vendor booth but had to give that up for lack of time. Your smoothie sounds tasty! Have a great day😊
Cindy, I'm inspired to use my large white oval enamelware pan like yours to hold smaller pots together and use them on my brand-spanking-new covered porch! Pothos need light, but not direct sunlight to flourish and I have so many rooted starts of them that need potting and this will be great for them. Watering will be a snap! May I suggest what I do when making a pattern like you did for your clothespin bag? If it's something I really like and want to recreate several times over, I make a permanent pattern using a fairly heavy weight interfacing material that will hold it's shape but can still be folded if necessary for storage. I write any measurements or directions, as well as the name of the article, right on the interfacing so it's always there. Works for me! I was also thinking that bag could be used in a craft room to hold clothespins, if you use them for crafting, or other things too. Love that soap...and the yogurt....and the butter! I want to try my hand at those, I think.
Your porch sounds amazing! Have fun potting your starters! I like your idea for pattern making - I have used a similar product called Do Sew and it especially for pattern making. Thanks for reminding me about it!
There were so many fun ideas in this video. I will be taking advantage of the freebie artwork and gift tags for sure, and I'm definitely going to try making goat's milk soap. I make candles and have made other types of soap and lotion bars in the past. I always find your videos so relaxing and uplifting. I can't wait to see you in the next one! ❤
Your words are so encouraging to me! Thank you🥰 it makes my day to hear that people enjoy my videos! I’m going to make old fashioned soap this summer when I can be outdoors. Thanks so much for watching 😊
I just loved this video, Cindy, from start to finish....I was sad to see it end! Is there anything you can't do?!?! What an inspiration you are to all of us! Your home is so beautiful, inside and out, and I can see myself pulling up a chair and feeling right at home! See you soon! ❤❤❤
Nice relaxing video! I have made soap with the melt and pour kind and have added dried flowers and roughly ground coffee beans as well as oatmeal. I'd love to try the homemade butter. Is your laundry basket a little bassinet/crib? You have a very lovely yard.
Thank you! I need to try your suggestions for the additions to soap - thanks! The laundry basket is a child's toy crib - isn't it the cutest? I was thilled to find it for about $10 many years ago - it has wooden caster wheels on it!
Hello!! I'm so happy to find your channel!I saw the one before that and i've suscribed immediately. I think i'll see all your videos from the beggining. You have simple and good ideas!!
Very down to earth video that I enjoyed. I joined your news letter blog but don’t like to admit this but I’m computer illiterate. I try to do something on it n I get so frustrated n don’t know what to do next or how to fix my mistakes that I just give up. I guess I let it intimidate me. I don’t even know how to down something from my phone to the computer. I have to have a neighbor help me n she’s not always available. One of these days I’m gonna conquer it. I used to hang a lot things outside on my clothes line. But unfortunately I’m recently a widow of a year. Being that it’s just me now I just do it much anymore. But loved to put sheets on the line. They smell so good. Wish you could keep that smell to last a more than 1 to 2 nights of sleep. Never made yogurt but wouldn’t mind learning how to do butter. I use real butter all the time. I have super, super dry skin. I’ve used everything on my skin. To oatmeal baths, pure coconut oil, all kind of lotions for extremely dry skin. Also having eczema in parts of your body doesn’t help. I’ve tried so many other suggestions friends told me, nothing seems to help much. The winters are the worse n I live in Florida. Imagine if I lived up north. I’ve taken up to much of your time. I’m very sorry about that. I guess I get carried away. Living alone with just your dog you hunger for conversation ♥️♥️😊👍🌟🌟🌟
First, please don't think you have taken up too much of my time! What you have to share is important and I appreciate you taking the time to comment 🥰 Your comments are valued here! I'm sorry about the technology end of things - it can be so hard to understand. If I were there with you I would help! Maybe I will add a little video about accessing the freebie library. I'll do my best to do that. As for hanging the laundry out - like sheets - I encourage you to do it for yourself! If not all of the sheets, at least your pillowcases where you will be able to pick up the fresh outdoor scent. Big hugs 🥰
I didn’t think I would like this kind of video, but I really enjoyed it. I’m a crafter and gardener, so we have much in common. The birdcage would look beautiful with a live plant and lights, maybe solar lights? Looking forward to watching more thrift flip videos for inspiration.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video - it's not the kind I usually make so be sure to check out some of my others. We love thrifting and repurposing around here! 😊
The speed is good in my opinion. Better to go back than lose interest if a particular task drags (like watching someone paint the entire project on other channels). Enjoying your content.
Great video, as always! You do some cool things on your channel. Your dedication, talent, inspiration, and sweet spirit are greatly appreciated. It's difficult to put yourself out there, but you're doing a FABULOUS JOB. 😊
Sorry I didn’t show this better - stitch around the curve with an approximate 1/2” seam allowance. Then clip to the seam without clipping through the stitching. That will allow the fabric to lay flat while going around the curve with a triple zig zag stitch. You might find it helpful to iron it flat before the zig zag. Hope that helps!
Enjoyed the fun video. So many fun useful things. I always hang out laundry weather permitting. There is nothing better than bed sheets and towels hung out. Gives such a clean, sweet fragrance! A child's shirt that buttons up the front, stich a seam down that front and across the bottom makes a cute clothespin bag. I enjoy your sweet spirit. I will definitely go print out your freebies.
I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy watching your videos; they're always so inspiring! Upcycling and rejuvenating furniture, as well as other items, is a passion of mine. And especially more so, since I lost my daughter two years ago...I have to keep busy or I'd go crazy.. so your inspiration really matters! Don't ever think it doesn't! So thanks for what you do! Keep up the good work!
What a beautiful home you have! It would be wonderful to live out in the country. As to the pathos, I am going to be watching your comments, because I have never heard it called anything but variegated pathos, and if someone can tell us the actual name, I would appreciate it. As to the birdcage, the creeping Jenny would be beautiful in it to me. This was a fun video. Enjoyed it so much. Thanks for sharing
I'm hoping some people will share the names of the pothos - I really regret getting rid of the tags that came with them! Next tiime I will hang on to them!😊

Thank you! I appreciate your feedback!
Great video, as always! You do some cool things on your channel. Your dedication, talent, inspiration, and sweet spirit are greatly appreciated. It's difficult to put yourself out there, but you're doing a FABULOUS JOB. 😊
🥰🥰 Thank you! It is so weird to put ourselves out there and I can hardly believe that I am doing it😳😳 People like you make it all worth it!
How did you sew around the curve of the clothespin bag and have it lay flat?
Sorry I didn’t show this better - stitch around the curve with an approximate 1/2” seam allowance. Then clip to the seam without clipping through the stitching. That will allow the fabric to lay flat while going around the curve with a triple zig zag stitch. You might find it helpful to iron it flat before the zig zag. Hope that helps!
@@ReinventedDelaware Thank you for your reply.
Omgoodness, I love your idea for a clothespin bag! I'm going to start looking for a child's shirt when I am out thrifting! Thanks so much 😊
What a great idea!! I love these cards and gift tags!! I will be buying these!!❤️
They are FREE!! Hope you enjoy them!💜
I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy watching your videos; they're always so inspiring!
Big hugs to you - and I admire you for pressing on through your sadness. 🤗🤗Thank you for your encouraging words!🥰
I love watching your videos. You have such great ideas. Your house and gardens are amazing also.
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed watching 😊
Next tiime I will hang on to them!😊
That cart looks like Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage.
It does! Thanks for poining that out 😊
Such a beautiful property you have, just so gorgeous loved watching this video and as always great to see the things others creat love that soap idea, personally I do not like the idea of lye (i have so many allergies I have to be super careful what I use,but this soap could be a possability that could work, will have to give it a try and see...) Thanks for another great video!!!!
The soap is so easy to use and they make a nice little gift too! BTW my sisters name is Laura! She and I have a thrifting video together here on my channel.th-cam.com/video/ebMQXgCmI4M/w-d-xo.html
Speed is good. If I miss something, I just go back.
Thanks Doris! I appreciate that!😊
Your ideas are so down-to-earth earth! Where is your source for the melt & pour goat milk soap? I love this idea for Xmas gifts.
The soap makes wonderful gifts! All of the supplies including the soap base, are listed in the description of this video. Thanks for using my links - it helps to support the free tutorials and inspiration we offer here! Thanks also for your kind words!😊
“Silver” or “Satin” Pothos is the name of the silvery looking one
Thanks for the info!😊😊
You should have kept those garden snakes, they help keep done the unwanted pests.
You are so right! I wish they weren’t so scary🐍😂
Bananas are not good for diabetics could you share an alternative please? Smoothie sounds so good!
I think avocados would give a similar smooth texture in the smoothie. Plus, they are amazing in smoothies! Hope that helps!😊
@@ReinventedDelaware thank you

Thank you! I’m glad to have you here😊
Yes! I love your projects because you share your processes also. I love to DIY or alter when I can....it's great to know what has worked for you and what hasn't....thank you so much for sharing and for your efforts. I can't always visit blogs....and TH-cam is my best friend. :) Take care.
Woohoo for Texas! I was born in Austin 😊 I’m so glad you enjoy watching the process of our projects. Watching TH-cam has become a big part of my life too - there is so much to learn😊
I would love to have indoor plants but unfortunately my cat is the feline version of Denis the menace. 🤦🏼♀️
Agh! Kitties like to get into things - especially plants!😊
Isn’t it strange how some cats are Mesmerized by house plants?
