I know, it’s incredibly sad :( Our hearts go out to his family and the whole team. From the few times we’ve met him, he’s always left such a positive impression. RIP, James Kent.
@@Tennisisreallyfun Yes, we're heartbroken to say he did :( It happened suddenly... and only a few weeks ago. Our heart goes to his family and friends as well.
I've followed you for a while: appreciate you visiting a lot of fantastic restaurants around the world in amazing locations. This new format is really interesting. And also nice to see chefs choose where they like to go, eat or having cocktails. Great pics over NYC ¡Buena suerte!
Great video, I love eating in NYC. I spent over a decade working in high-end/Michelin restaurants and I love watching your channel it def brings me back thank you!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHECK THIS OUT!!!! Omo by Jont in Winter Park near Orlando Florida. I've eaten at dozens of 2-3 Michelin starred restaurants in the US and the UK and this place is going to be among some super heavy hitters in Florida my opinion the best restaurant I've been too. They opened 6 Weeks before the Michelin guide so they missed the opportunity this year to be included but before it becomes a super hot spot I think it would be cool for you to check out the "places to be" (up and coming) restaurants.
Highly curious to know what you think upstate ny is? I know lots of people think it’s Yonkers and above but it’s actually Bingham and above. I’m from upstate NY and it is unsettling when people say upstate NY and have no clue!
I am surprised the Asian female host would spotlight Brooklyn Fare. Wasn't the former chef notably very racist towards Asians? Which is super ironic because they stole a ton of Asian cuisine in their tasting menu when we went nearly 10 years ago. The restaurant took awhile to react to the chef's abuse and bigotry so they too are partially to blame.
These people both worked for Brooklyn fare when they had 3 stars. They both worked in/led other multi-starred restaurants in their careers. By anyone’s standards they are still extremely accomplished chefs. It would’ve been nice if S3 added more background info about Brooklyn fare closing and all of that, but still, it’s hard to discredit these chefs.
@@animaladam5 Brooklyn fare’s website says “3 Michelin stars 2012-2022”… nowhere else do they “claim to have 3 stars” or make any mention of it. I don’t know why they wouldn’t be allowed to list previous accolades as long as they mention that they are PREVIOUS.
Like chefs night out but the energy is way stiff
Love the new series! It kinda reminds me of Chefs Night Out; can't wait to see more
Awesome!! Can’t wait to make more too!!
Another great episode, loving the new concept to showcase more than just the food❤
Thanks so much!! Excited to make more!
Excellent! love the lowkey chat with the guests - very cool :) That marketplace OMG, looks like food heaven :)
Thanks!! Excited to make more and show more around the world! And right… insane place with awesome specialty goods!!
RIP Chef James Kent, I wish I had the opportunity to visit SAGA and Overstory when he was alive

that is so much plastic packaging for an in house dining experience, even on the footpath. mind blown.
Too bad that Brooklyn fare does not have 3 stars for when they closed, Michelin took the stars away. As the kids say, these guys are CAP
