I like the white te's but you should try spraying the wheels a gun metal color, that'll bring the wrx a little more to life, since your FRS has white wheels already. Wrap the roof carbon fiber will be awesome or a gloss black.

Looks awesome dude. Kudos to you for doing it by yourself, too! I'm definitely gonna have a buddy when I do mine, though. I do have to critique one thing though, and don't take it the wrong way: the license plate lights. I know you won't see them but you should've installed them how they were installed on the stock trunk. I get it, the carbon is thick, but you can sand the outer edge of the holes on the inside so the clips will grab it. Other than that, I love it. \m/

yo Chris, you gotta get either the Perrin shift stop or Cobb shift stop for your wrx gearbox. Quick install (~30mins) and helps you directly find 1-2 and 5-6 gears.
It may take some time to get it perfectly set up so there's a little slop like oem 3-4 gears but not too tight where you have trouble finding 1-2 or 5-6 gears.
I just installed mine today. - Tip: match the play you feel in 3-4 with the play you have in 1-2 and 5-6 gears. Such an easy $30-$40 driver mod.

i love the trunk! i always feel like the wrx's need a decent amount of aero to make them look sporty and stand out from carollas and stuff. I think those rear bumper vent things that throtl had on their wrx would look sick on this. Keep killin it!

Haha I remember commenting on one of his first WRX videos to Debadge it and here we are. I don’t think you should debadge the front tho Chris maybe get a black and red emblem or even red and white. I’ve seen a few builds with just mesh and grille and it’s not appealing to me but of course do whatever you please AWESOME BUILD SO FAR!

Thanks for the video !! After installing the trunk , did you change anything to the struts or the two metal rods that holds to the trunk ? The trunk just flys open since it so light now .
