I tried to pick the guy with the most different elements on him to try cover as much as possible of his team but if you have specific questions just let me know!
Really liked your paint scheme for this. Going for something 'similar' although I think with that monstrosity you undersold the gore! 😂 That cleaver deserves more sacrifices and a wee addition from UV resin! Smashin vid as always lad 👍🏻
I know the best effect of the pooling shows on light colours but I don't like the fact that when you use contrast paints on such light shades those shades still shine through. I began experimenting with darker colours such as light and dark greys on a model to accentuate the shades. Or most recently I used Flesh Tearers red on Rhinox Hide. The red picked up a glorious lustre from the under coat. You should try it some time. May be on a test model off screen first.
This guy looks awesome. How do you plan to do the tentacles and the claw on the other big models? And how about the insects used for equipment? Would love to see how you've done then to see how they tie together.
Probably just add a layer of purple contrast over the tentacle and when I’m layer that part up with the pale skin I shall mix a touch of purple in with the skin tone. Keep it sickly.
Very awesome video, If you wanted more of a pinker skin tone, would you recommend starting with volpus pink then layering paylid wych flesh or would the pink shine through to much? I'm watching and was going through different ideas in my head so I had to ask. Great work as always Andy this series is going to be awesome if this is only episode two
Cheers dude. You probably could indeed start from a more pink basecoat. It just may require more then one coat of layering to get the coverage you want.
@@MediocreHobbies Ok thank you I recently got the trator guardsman and after watching your video I wanted to make it a mix between fleshy and bone so I was sure where a good start would be
Good job! Reikland Fleshshade really made a difference in bringing the base coast together. Do you think adding Lahmian Medium to the Guilliman Flesh would have made for a smoother finish? Looked a bit blotchy in some places
Hi can you add the paint names into the description text please! I’ve just ordered a set as someone has put together a great home brew campaign for blackstone fortress based in these!
@@MediocreHobbies I noticed this detail is in the time stamps so I’ll just whip the phone out in warhammer tomorrow . Thank you. These videos may not be Mr Beast in terms of viewing hits but I use them a lot as a modern version of painting by numbers….
@@MediocreHobbies thx, I will leave flat, paint black and do patches of rust, than I have the new void war bases and inside I found out there’s some parts of ship you can put on terrain but also bases so on the big guys I use some of those
Comment for the algorithm because this channel deserves far more attention!
Another great tutorial and paint job
So kind pal. Thank you.
Might be my favourite of your paintjobs tbh, proper grim stuff
Thank you so much. Really glad you liked it.
THis is a REALLY good method. I think i will follow your guide
Ace dude glad you like it.
Papa Nurgle would be proud - I like the asthetics of the miniature a lot. Not to mention your paint job :)
Very kind pal thanks.
Wish you had videos for the rest of the killteam! Bravo
I tried to pick the guy with the most different elements on him to try cover as much as possible of his team but if you have specific questions just let me know!
Love this guide if I purchase them I will follow this guide
Awesome dude.
That's a great paint job, you make doing those seem so easy. I look forward to seeing you do more.
Cheers pal. I also can’t wait to get stuck into the rest. So many nice models on the way.

Aw cheers man, glad you’re enjoying the videos 🙌
Man, your paint is so cool. Super easy process to paint this big boy. Thank you from Italy!!!
Thank you so much from Italy. Really glad you like the videos.
I just used this tutorial to paint my kill team. The skin looks so good and I feel this really elevated a lot how I paint skin. Thanks for that
aw cheers for letting me know that, really happy to hear I helped!
Hi I’ve purchased the paints now (all 12 of them!) do you have a series for the other figures ?
No I haven’t had. A chance to do more of this set as of yet.
Man, truely great vid, are you goign to do the rest?
Of course. Can’t do killteam battle reports without a bunch of painted killteams.
Definitely painting mine this way! Thank you
Anytime pal.
Tooth brush idea was pretty cool
Thanks man! Super simple and easy for great results!
just ordered the team - cant wait to use some of your techiques!
Thanks pal.
Amazing vid! The hairstyle is like psymon from ssx! He called it "the entry burn"
Hahhahaha yes
Amazing just Amazing another great model painted and amazing well done brother
Cheers as always Dude.
Really liked your paint scheme for this. Going for something 'similar' although I think with that monstrosity you undersold the gore! 😂 That cleaver deserves more sacrifices and a wee addition from UV resin! Smashin vid as always lad 👍🏻
Great idea.
Perfect timing, I just pulled all these out to paint
Hahah ace. Enjoy it pal.
love the Gellerpox :) amazing video
Thanks pal.
Looking forward to these guys!
Ye there a lot of fun.
As always great job!
Thanks so much man, appreciate the comment!
Fantastic! Was a little on the fence on bying them. But after seeing this, im bying them and using this tutorial to paint after! 😁✌🏻
That’s so cool man delighted to hear that n

I’m 100% trying red over Rhinox hide. That sounds so interesting.
Thank you for this tutorial. I’m gonna use it to paint my new nurgle army :-)
Glad you liked it pal.
Looks cool!
Thanks so much! 👍
That is completely disgusting, so well done. For me I think I would have went with a touch less blood splatter but to each their own.
Yep 100% less can in some
Cases be more. It’s just a hard technique to control lol
Oh I always give in to the Blood for the Blood God. I have to be the only person to have ever used more than one pot in their time painting 😂
Are you going to do more videos on the rest of the gellerpox minis? Love this
I’m not sure what would be different. I’d like to think you could just take this and apply it across the whole gang?
I would like to see some different skin tones and how you’d paint up the little guys
@Gundam From Japan appreciate that pal.
Really nice
Ye he was a fun one.
Just got this pack at the weekend , great paint job 👌
Cheers pal.
This was sick!!
Thank you!

Thanks for that great vid. Did you buy chance paint the rest of the box?
No not yet. Struggling to find the time.

Potentially yes. But I am never to worried about a bit of blotchyness when I know I shall be layering on top. But I get what you mean.
Hello, so sorry, when you zenithal primed at the start of the process, did you prime with black and then apply grey from above?
I did indeed yes.
Thank you! Hopefully a game of KT will make its way on to the war for MH365!
Oh it mite just.

Glad you liked the vid! I do paint lists on and off when I get time but I won't have time to go back through older videos unfortunately! sorry!

For the base of the model, did you leave it as is? Or use some tech paint to finish it?
Just left it for now until I decide what scheme I will use for the whole set.

Ok mind EXPLODED! TOOTHBRUSH EFFECT JUST WHAAAAAAT.
Go forth and spray blood everywhere…(on your models. With fake blood 😂)
u didnt show alot of the important steps when applying the skin colors
What do you mean? What would you have liked to see? So I know for future videos.
