These unit types are also generally good to consider in any _other_ miniatures wargame. Hammer & Anvil, Chaff, Support, and Utility usually come up in any sufficiently complex wargame.
This is a great video. I'd like to see your faction videos taking this formula into account, particularly when it comes to armies like Skaven, who lack any anvil, or really effective screens barring a reinforced unit of clanrats (doing 20 wounds in a turn are really quite easy in this edition.) I find it easier to make a good strategy when I think of the units existing on timers, rather than tarpitting, screening, and for me, the non existent anvil. Then again, every time you seem to make a Skaven video, something drastic changes in the army. Hrm.
I appreciate it, all things considered I'm pretty happy with the growth so far given the smaller quantity of videos I release compared to other AoS content creators
I am interested to see how the nighthaunt play! I got the spearhead cause they just look cool and I want to play glowing murder ghosts. Subscribed to see more!
I feel a lot of the same, especially for casual players. I feel like what they are doing for age of sigmar rules for the 4th. I hope they do for 40k. So they can separate casual from comp.
Just found you and subbed! Me and 4 buddies just got into AoS. We have 3 SCE players, would love your thoughts on them and specifically the new army of renown announced for the new chamber
Stormcast video is very likely going forward, I've been playing the army quite a bit lately and really enjoying it. Although even without reading it, I really wouldn't bank on the Army of Renown being worthwhile. Most of them have been objectively terrible options
My army got legended. I don't like other stuff the faction has, especialy all the large dragons, buildings etc. I wish my army could be made out of heavy armoured knights, range weapon users and pole arm users. The idea of my faction existing to buff/protect 1-3 large dragons who cast spells, isn't what l signed on with starting sacrosanct .
This video can be incredibly deceptive for new players, not only casuals who were mentioned, but also semi competitive. You should never pick units by tactics or army lists, because it will change tomorrow and you will be left with pile of trash rule wise. From my 15 something years of experience you should only pick models you like and create something that will look good on shelf. Nicely painted and all. Also never buy something in a rush.
@@TheRonan92 No, it's true. I've been playing 40k since 4th edition and even back then units could change drastically from edition to edition. What might have been strong in the 4th edition codex could very well be absolute garbage in 5th edition. And nowadays with GWs digital erratas and updates it's much, much, much faster than that. Unless you're really into competitive play rule of cool trumps any strong or weak gameplay rules.
What the fuck was that analogy about slow hammer units
You can thank my sleep deprived brain working on the script at 3am for that part lol

i really like your drawings

Excellent videos
Sheeeeeesh I just said I like a few more drawings, you didn't have to cook this hard
That's why I play Sons of Behemat. Me no need to think. Me just smash.
5:52 Bro didn't have to do me like that.
Worried I was watching an old video. No, just 16 hrs old.
Warhammer still probably changed the rules since then 😮😅
Have you done a guide for maggotkin?

I feel you bro. I had to shelve around 2000 points of sacrosanct due to this bullshit
Just run Rotigus and three Great unclean ones, done!
Now you say that as a joke. But…
7:10 Shurhand is also only viable until July 2025
What if i have bought all the stormcast dragons..
How to play freeguild cities of sigmar?
What about spearhead?
What are kharadon overloads hammer units?
Skywardens and Thunderers are typically the ones most looked at.
Likes for the Like Gods! Subs for the Sub Throne!

That's some crazy logic and doomsaying.
