Q• Why are you uploading cruising videos and renovation videos at the same time.
A• As of October 2021 we have finished our journey to visit every waterway on the connected system but we still have a back lock of videos to edit. For this reason we are uploading a cruising video each week till we finish the journey. In November 2021 we started a project to renovate our Narrowboat and as there was a lot of interest in is filming this we decided to alternate the renovations with the old cruising videos. We also aim to get one renovation video up each week until the cruising videos are finished.
Q• Why do you speed up some of the footage in your videos?
A• We don't, we film it as time-lapse footage. We do not have the battery capacity or data storage to film in real time as our cruises can last up to 7 or 8 hours. We use to the time-lapse footage to help tell the story of movement rather than showcase the scenery. We limit the amount of time-lapse shots we use in each vlog.
Q• Why are your video's so behind?
A• We would love to release all our video's in the same week that we film them but that isn't possible for us. Jo only really has the capacity to edit two video's per week and as we make a video for each cruise that we do and we some times cruise 3 or 4 or 5 times a week we inevitably get behind. We fit in the vlogs around our lives not the other way round.

They most probably picked the only day in June that was cold since it took until September to break 30°C after June in the UK. 😀🤣
I live in one of the OTHER Peterboroughs (Ontario, Canada). Ironically, it also has a canal and locks associated with it.
The weather's been bonkers this year! I've had gloves and hats in my panniers all summer.
I sometimes dream of living in a desert too! :) Or space; that would also work. XD I'm just east of the Peak District, and here, the soil even on hilltops is often saturated; I can hardly believe it! I used to live on chalk downlands where the soil drains well, so all this bogginess is very new to me. It's a huge challenge on my bike.
I get too many thoughts to keep up with when my brain ought to be running slow, too. I think idea production is always happening deep down; it's just random, but there's a filter which takes much more energy to run.
I just yawned when you two _talked_ about yawning! XD
Jo, you seem to be like me: always having to be out where the action is, no matter how tired you are. It's not good for you, though... well, if I ever figure out how not to be like that, I'll try to let you know. I don't think I ever will! XD

Cavalcade it would be. Pedacade would be on foot BUT that word sounds very dodgy, so "marching" or "hiking" (beating feet???) is probably the best choice there.

I've always enjoyed watching your adventures. I've visited England twice in the last year and enjoy seeing the landscapes. I've just ordered a map jigsaw and look forward to working on it during the winter.

The USA 🇺🇸 has the Erie canal in upper New York and Canada. There are places that you can rent a narrow boat or a wide beam. Just a thought.
