I rate Floyd hes the best fighter of his time, but he was active during an incredibly boring HW era, anyone down there coulda put them out of business as the smaller divisions had far more competition n more exciting fighters for Floyd to build a name off beating, had he been active right now during the rise of AJ and Fury, and all the wars in the HW division the last few years Floyd wouldnt be the face of boxing, just like Gervonta an actual KO machine under Floyd doesnt outshine Fury or AJ right now, no one does, all HW division needed was some competition and some exciting fighters to take back its place in boxing and its got that, Floyd benefited from a time when it didnt.

You never did drugs never drunk an most of all never did performance enhancing drug's ever. Never fought dirty you're the best defensive boxer in history. Your offense was beyond great. Your counter punching unmatched. You learned the true art of boxing. Stick & move stick & move hit an don't get hit. You started your own TMT promotions an changed the game. You talked hella trash an backed it up. You knew how to get ppl to tune in whether they hated you or loved you a true marketing genius. It's crazy how ppl hate you for it but when ppl copied your trash talk it was ok like McGregor etc. It showed it was ok for white ppl an Hispanic boxers but not for Floyd because he's black. We all seen that biased bullshit. A true champion in 5 different weight classes. You will always be TBE no matter what the haters say. Also you really did change the sport and made everyone switch to the smaller guys welterweights over the then heavy weight division facts are facts. Congratulations champ well deserved you. put in the real work didn't let rapper's fame partying or money get to you like Broner an so many more. Doing everything they could to make us and Floyd Jr hate his father! So that Bob Arum would become his surrogate father, and thus keep the generational wealth in Arum's pocket. That slick trickster tried to keep Floyd in a perpetual state of childhood. By slyly naming him after a white gangster (gangster rap had a firm grip on Hip Hop by that time) by the name of "Pretty Boy" Floyd. For all intents and purposes this should've worked, because till this day Black rappers for example names are Lil' this, Young that, Boy this, Baby that etc. But Floyd didn't fall for the white savior routine oke doke. - Held the 147 & 154 WBC belts simultaneously & defended both.
    - 11 of the top 25 PPV & live gates, including the top four (Pacquiao & Tyson are the closets with four)
    - 1st Billionaire athlete to make a billion while still active (not LeBron James)
    - Defeated 24 world champions (One fight short of half of his fights. Record)
    - Won 23 World Championship belts (24 if you count the bet he allowed Shame Mosley to keep after defeating him. Record.)
    - Defeated 16 World Champions in 16 straight fights (last 16 fights. Record.).
    - 16 fights in 15 months (Floyd's 1st 16 fights. Record?).
    - Defeated 11 sure fire Hall of Fame fighters Record (15 might get in. Ali & Larry Holmes only other boxers who come close with 8 or 9. most other guys have only four Hall of Fame fighters on their record & they took loses to them & had to rematch them to get a win over them).

Give this man his flowers. Look at his resume. If you said he fought nobody, you're either delusional or don't follow boxing. Cotto, Del La Hoya, Canelo, Mosely, Gatti, Marquez, Hatton, Judah, Gatti, Pacquiao.... Find a "bum" on that list. It tickles when the Haters give Pacquiao all praise for his victories over the top dawgs, but bash Floyd...even though they SHARE THE SAME OPPONENTS! Last I checked, Floyd fought Oscar, Shane & Hatton first & gets criticism for all wins. Pacquiao gets all praise for them. Last I checked Floyd fought Cotto a whole 3 years before Canelo did, yet they praise Canelo for beating a future hall of famer. Why's that? Last I checked Marquez gave Pacquiao 4 fights of hell & managed to put him to sleep the last one. The same Marquez that got complete schooled the one time he faced Floyd. Haters say Floyd waited til Pacquiao was over the hill, with nothing left in the tank. Correct me if I'm wrong but did Pacquiao not manage to beat both Adrien Broner & Keith Thurman at 40 years old?... 4 years after he fought Floyd? Seems like he had plenty in the tank to me to beat 2 fighters a decade younger than him! Also...is Floyd not older than Manny? So what sense does that make? Even with Canelo; before Floyd, he was a risk. Ater the fight he was "inexperienced", "too young" & too "green". The man at 37 YEARS OLD complete schooled a 23 year old Canelo who at the time had 42 FIGHTS under his belt. Far from inexperienced. I can go for days, but I say all this to say, Floyd without a doubt earned every right to call himself TBE. We don't have to agree, but his body of work in the ring is valid proof of it I'll say. Nuff said.
