      I think that's shows your skills as an interviewer. You have to be able to clearly communicate in a way that somebody who is not an English first speaker will still understand you, and you have to give time and listen as well

      These are possibly the next three fights for CANELO. CHARLO, then BENAVIDEZ, and last BIVOL rematch. I believe CANELO beats CHARLO and BENAVIDEZ but loses against BIVOL.

    A lot of foreign fighters don't understand how simply learning the language helps them connect better with fans! Proud of him putting just as much effort into learning English as he does his talent.

      Couldn't agree more. It just makes Canelo more relatable, not just to his people but to everyone who is a fan. Kinda reminds me of Pacquiao and how very little English Pacquiao spoke early in his career but went on to be come one of the most beloved fighters in boxing.

    This interview made me respect Canelo a lot more. Man of principle, even when he was talking about De LaHoya, it didn’t come off as insulting or disrespectful. He was just being real and honest about his experiences with him…even acknowledged that Oscar may not be a bad person but has a lot of issues in his personal life. Real

    Ppl often mistake confidence for cockyness. This man is sheer confidence! Doesn't brag about his millions, businesses or throws shade at the other stars in the sport.
    Loved how he handled the TBC questions and showed respect. He's also a huge tank Davis fan! Which is dope cause most black fighters won't give this dude or other Mexicans their credit.

    I Love Canelo!
    I grew up watching boxing with my Father who is now deceased. He Loved the sport of boxing, and because of this, it will Always Have A Place In My Heart. Even though Boxing is not what it use to be, boxers like Canelo help put the spark back into it.

      Canelo was certainly inexperienced but that fight made him A LOT better. His patience grew from that experience and his defense as well. After fighting Floyd Canelos head movement elevated to be the top of the sport where it was a after fought prior and during the Mayweather fight. Like you said tho no excuses Floyd schooled the guy literally but Saul learned a lot in defeat!

      Yep, and that’s his 4th weight division he’s doing that at, and at 5’9. This man deserves his respect. Him, SRL, and Hearns r the only fighters to start at 147 and win titles all the way up to 175.
      He’s the 2nd best Mexican fighter to me in history. Prime for prime, Oscar is the only Mexican fighter I believe would beat him, because of his speed and footwork, which u must have to beat him. And Chavez Sr is my favorite Mexican fighter.
