The UK really does have some great coasters! I rode Storm Chaser at Paultons Park for the first time last week and absolutely loved it! It's shot into my top 10 here that's for sure 😁 (although there's still a few from your list that I've not had a chance to ride yet so that could well change again!)

I didn’t expect Icon to be number one but I’m really happy it is. We did Alton towers and Blackpool back to back and Icon was hands down my favourite rollercoaster I’ve been on in the UK. (Not been to flamingo land or chessingtons) The smoothness of the ride, the comfort of the trains. The launches. I’m not good at element names but that second launch into the half loop with the twist at the top is my favourite element on a coaster ever. I’m desperate to try velocicoaster one day
honestly cant go wrong with vampire for me - its definitely in my top 10 somewhere, its just a ride that i know i will go on everytime im there and its not too scary for first timers! i took my friend there (who had never been on a rollercoaster) and vampire was the first thing we did - after that she was obsessed with rollercoasters!! ive been on basically every ride at chessington i think lol except dragons fury the queue is just always so long! and mandrill mayhem is also amazing in my ops!
Not done many of them but if those I have, this is my top 5. 5. The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. 4. Kamali at Flamingo Land 3. Wickerman at Alton Towers 2. Sik at Flamingo Land 1. Smiler at Alton Towers Special recommendation to: Thirteen (Alton Towers), Velocity (Flamingo Land), Oblivion (Alton Towers) and Rita (Alton Towers). Now if I ever got the chance to do Thorpe Park and Chessington, the list would be seriously altered. Though not sure if any would beat Sik and Smiler.
i agree icon is so so good i went on it so many times when i went to blackpool, however infusion (bp pleasure beach) is so horrible to ride however very satisfying to watch
Great list Dan, similar to my own, nice to see you saying something good about rita 😂 Very underrated imo. Looking forward to you riding hero all day, will you be trying Sik when you go because im sure that will make your top 10, a very good coaster.
I have ridden SAW last october and I came off with a head and back injury. So I hope they did some work on that one caue oh boy, rather send it to the scrap yard in my humble opinion and let Zierer build their Towercoaster/impulse model there.
The only coasters I've done in the UK are Alton Towers ones. I did do a video of my Top 20 Rollercoasters I've Been On between UK and Orlando. Anyway, for UK, my #1 is absolutely The Smiler. A lot of people say The Wickerman has the best lore, but I put that partially down to the fact that Towers scrubbed a fair amount of Smiler lore from the ride after the 2015 incident, so I think people may have forgotten just how good The Smiler's lore actually is. The entire time, there's the balance between joy and happiness but also the twisted, sinister undertones of the Ministry of Joy. Having watched the Smile Always TH-cam clips too helps understand the lore of the ride. Additionally, as an experience, The Smiler doesn't hold back, with it's immediate Inversion and though it stops halfways through, it's for a very fear-inducing vertical lift hill. Meanwhile, The Wickerman feels rather intense to begin with but I can't help but feel the last quarter loses it's momentum, and the final funnel feels like wasted space that could've had an amazing show effect to give a grand conclusion but it just ultimately feels anticlimactic, which is unfortunate because the pre-show and the main Wickerman itself provide such a good theme. In my opinion, I'd choose Th13teen over Wickerman (I know, unpopular opinion) because I feel Th13teen's theming runs through the entire experience, as there's a constant sense of fear through and while the first half could be considered "timid", the latter half is so unique and exciting. Thanks for listening to my controversial coaster opinions

When I went to Chessington a while ago, I was queuing for dragons fury and my mum noticed that the track was shaking a worrying amount every time a train went over it. Once we got to the station my mum asked an employee if the ride was supposed to shake that much and he just responded with "well it is a pretty old ride!"
it is supposed to shake that much dw. if it didnt shake then youd have an issue. It's to do with how much pressure is on it, if there was too much then it would be more unstable :)

On Thursday The 8th of June, I went on a school trip and we went on *Mandrill Mayhem* It was the *best* roller coaster out of all the ones I rode at chessington, such as *Dragons Fury* and *Cobra*! I was sat next to my *teacher* and we were screaming and having the time of our lives!
I am nine but absolutely love roller coasters my top four are 4 = revolution 3 = big one 2= Valhalla 1= icon I have the hoodie , cap , shirt , ring and bag for the icon it is my absolute fav ride
My top 25 in England (I haven't been to Oakwood) I haven't yet done Mandril Mayhem or Sik 25. Millennium Coaster: What it lacks in intensity it makes up for in fun and smoothness. 24. Nickelodeon Streak: A short but delightful airtime machine at Blackpool. 23. Shockwave: Once again, short but excellent. 22. Infusion: A good Vekoma SLC?! Yes, they do exist. 21. Rage: A typically fun Eurofighter and the highlight of Adventure Island. 20. Vampire: At over 30 years old, this Arrow Dynamics Suspended Coaster still packs a considerable punch. 19. Dragon's Fury: A wonderful spinning coaster. 18. Big Dipper: Old but golden. A true classic. 17. The Swarm: Too short to be one of my favourites, but I still think it's great. 16. Oblivion: When it's actually open, I always have a blast on it. 15. Kumali: A surprisingly excellent Vekoma SLC. 14. Velocity: Sorry Kumali, but I think this is Flamingo Land's best coaster. 13. Nemesis Inferno: A typically superb B&M Invert which is even better in the front. 12. Odyssey: It has a lot of downtime due to the pesky British weather. When you get on it, it's an absolute beast of a ride. 11. Rita: Justice for Rita! This ride is a speedy joy. 10. Colossus: It's not particularly rough anymore, so this ride is brilliant once again. 9. Grand National: Despite its roughness, this ride is an absolutely joyous experience in every other way. 8. Wicker Man: A truly incredible roller coaster that was SO much better than I expected. 7. Big One: Although the lack of airtime is disappointing, Big One is still a tremendously fun and intense ride that delivers an endless barrage of thrills. And it has the best first drop in the country. 6. Smiler: Despite its unfortunate history, this blisteringly intense and fast-paced ride is still one of the UK's finest. 5. Icon: The launches are weak, the rest of the ride is outstandingly good. 4. Galactica: I love B&M Flying Coasters and I adore this wonderful ride. It never needed VR, it was splendid as it was. 3. Stealth: More adrenaline in 30 seconds than most roller coasters produce in 2 minutes. 2. Saw - The Ride: Airtime, theming, intensity, hang-time, speed - this ride delivers everything I could ever watch. And, being a cinephile and a big horror fan, I appreciate it that much more. Not the best coaster in the UK, but my personal favourite. 1. Nemesis: What did you think it would be? Hero?
Oakwood isnt anything amazing, Megafobia is quite cool but overrated but Speed is actually a decent ride for the kind of park it’s in. Obviously can’t compete with things like Saw which have similar elements but definitely an underrated ride.

Im only 14 lol and ive been on all of the rides you have except Rita , my faverout one is 100% 1-Swarm then its 2-oblivion , 3-stealth , 4-Smiler , 5-Saw the ride
Where is Sik on this list?! Lifelong Towers fan but I would say Sik is way more fun than Smiler and just a bigger, more intense ride than Wickerman. I would have Sik and Icon at 1 and 2, though I am genuinely unsure which I prefer as they are so different
I went to thorpe park yesterday and walking dead the ride is so diffrent there because you go in a room watch a video then go through a long hallway and then you get on a rollercoaster but it doesnt go outside or have any massive drops and no inversions
I'm surprised a couple of rides didn't make this list, but then again it's probably just because you haven't gotten round to riding them yet. My top 15 would probably be; 1. Wickerman 2. Icon 3. Stealth 4. Swarm 5. Oblivion 6. Smiler 7. Avalanche 8. Nemesis Inferno 9. Sik 10. Velocity 11. Dragon's Fury 12. Kumali 13. Storm Chaser 14. Mumbo Jumbo 15. Vampire
completely agree, icon is honestly the best rollercoaster ive ever been on (tied with old nemesis). it may not be the tallest or the fastest but its so smooth and feels like you’re floating its somehow managed to be a relaxing rollercoaster? when i went to blackpool there was basically no queue and i went on it i think 12 times, would love to go again but unfortunately i’ve moved to east anglia which is means that i count it too far away to do as a day trip🥲
Hero is easily the best. It is a zamperla stratacoaster that is just so amazing. It is cool because I like it so much how the turns are forceful and so fast and inversions make me flying and airtime too and lots of track like wild mouse at thorpe park I love it my chest is cool when I ride😃😃
roomba, snactiv, black pearl stress ball, blender, sour patch, bubble wrap, chickfila, chimeras, upside down goggles, magic milkstraws, ingenuiTEA dan please explain these time stamps is it a shopping list?

I thinkthat once I've done all of the biig rides I think it'll be 1.HYPERIA 2icon 3. smiler 4.swarm 5. nemesis 6.stealth 7.odyssy 8.wickerman 9. Megafobia 10.saw 11. Nemesis inferno 12. Speed 13.oblivion 14. Mandril mayhem,my current favourite 15.milleniem 16.kumali 17.shockwave 18.sik 🤢 19. Olimpia looping 20 . velocity 21. Galactica 22. Big one 23.rage 24.mumbo jumbo 25.infusion ❤ Great vid reply dan pls your on my Christmas list
" from the big one, to the smiler "
I genuinely thought he was gonna say " to the small one "
Also, I noticed that as soon as he mentiones velocity, on the clip of it a guy had his hands in the air on the coaster and he slipped and fell over.
I haven't explained that very well but go to 2:05
I went to Thorpe park yesterday and it was so fun all the rides were amazing, although my dad did lose his phone on stealth 😅
my #1 in UK is the wicker man.. it was my kids first coaster so it holds a special place to me :)
My fav list (currently that I have been on): Galactica, Th13reen, The wicker man, rita
My fav list(on PoV cameras and other): The Smiler 🙂🙂🙂, Oblivion
On Thursday The 8th of June, I went on a school trip and we went on *Mandrill Mayhem*
It was the *best* roller coaster out of all the ones I rode at chessington, such as *Dragons Fury* and *Cobra*!
I was sat next to my *teacher* and we were screaming and having the time of our lives!
To say I’ve been on icon at first I was absolutely I was terrified but 10/10 I would still put icon at 1st it’s one of the best in my opinion
Favourite roller coaster in uk is smiler at Alton towers
dragons fury at chessington was sooo good but the ride stopped when me and my uncle were on it
nemesis isnt gone it reopens next year its just having a retrack
Awesome thanks for sharing!😁😁😁😎
Thanks for watching!
@@DigitalDan 😎😎😁❤️
been to alton today. first ride on curse at alton manor, emily/10
I thought it was going to pass out on the icon but I actually loved it and I asked Dad to go on it again
I am nine but absolutely love roller coasters my top four are
4 = revolution
3 = big one
2= Valhalla
1= icon
I have the hoodie , cap , shirt , ring and bag for the icon it is my absolute fav ride
i see you enjoy blackpool alot!
Totally agree with Wicker Man and Icon, but missing from your list are Megaphobia, Valhalla (controversial - is it a coaster?), Speed and Millennium 🎢
he hasn't been and valhalla is a water ride lmao
My top 25 in England (I haven't been to Oakwood) I haven't yet done Mandril Mayhem or Sik
1: stealth thorpe park
2:smiler Alton towers
3: the swarm thorpe park
4:saw thorpe park
5: walking dead the ride thorpe park
6: oblivian Alton towers
7: nemesis reborn
8: thirteen Alton towers
9: mandrill mayhem chessington
10: dragons fury chessinton
Hyperia is my number one but I forgot about it
Im going to Alton Towers soon, have any hacks or tips for being there like what rides to do first, and what rides not to do. Also love your channel.
When Exodus opens, will Icon still be No.1? (and that we don’t have to hear about it again 😂)
Oh I imagine Exodus will knock every other coaster (other than maybe nemesis) out the park when it opens 🔥
DIGITALDAN YOU NEED TO RIDE THE SMILER ID LOVE TO SEE THAT VIDEO AND IM PRETTY SURE OTHER PEROPLE WOULD TO!!!!
love this
i think for me wicker man will be number one at alton towers
there is no way some of these rides should be above Rita, haha so much hatred for the "queen of speed" :P cool vid as always mate
I think there is something wrong with me, an american teen with a fear of rollercoasters, being so intrested in british coasters
What about megafobia at Oakwood? Haven’t ridden it but it looks amazing
I haven’t ridden it either! Really want to this year though 🔥
1. Swarm
2. Stealth
3. Icon
4. Smiler
5 Odyssey
6. Nemesis inferno
7. Wickerman
8. Oblivion
9. Saw
10 the Big one
Im only 14 lol and ive been on all of the rides you have except Rita , my faverout one is 100% 1-Swarm then its 2-oblivion , 3-stealth , 4-Smiler , 5-Saw the ride

2 hyperia
3 blue barnacle
4 dragons Fury
5 Jumanji
6 nemesis
7 rush
8 vortex
9 wicker man
10 oblivion
11 detonator
Where is Sik on this list?!
Lifelong Towers fan but I would say Sik is way more fun than Smiler and just a bigger, more intense ride than Wickerman.
I would have Sik and Icon at 1 and 2, though I am genuinely unsure which I prefer as they are so different
Rita is brilliant and I ❤storm chaser spinball 13 and dragon fury
I went to thorpe park yesterday and walking dead the ride is so diffrent there because you go in a room watch a video then go through a long hallway and then you get on a rollercoaster but it doesnt go outside or have any massive drops and no inversions
Lol
Thanks for putting wicker man at 2 it’s my favourite ride
I'm surprised a couple of rides didn't make this list, but then again it's probably just because you haven't gotten round to riding them yet. My top 15 would probably be;
1. Wickerman
2. Icon
3. Stealth
4. Swarm
5. Oblivion
6. Smiler
7. Avalanche
8. Nemesis Inferno
9. Sik
10. Velocity
11. Dragon's Fury
12. Kumali
13. Storm Chaser
14. Mumbo Jumbo
15. Vampire
(from what ive ridden.) 10: mumbo jumbo
9: thirteen
8: wickerman
7: kumali
6:icon
5:velocity
4: galactica
3:swarm
2: smiler
1: sik
completely agree, icon is honestly the best rollercoaster ive ever been on (tied with old nemesis). it may not be the tallest or the fastest but its so smooth and feels like you’re floating its somehow managed to be a relaxing rollercoaster? when i went to blackpool there was basically no queue and i went on it i think 12 times, would love to go again but unfortunately i’ve moved to east anglia which is means that i count it too far away to do as a day trip🥲
Hero is easily the best. It is a zamperla stratacoaster that is just so amazing. It is cool because I like it so much how the turns are forceful and so fast and inversions make me flying and airtime too and lots of track like wild mouse at thorpe park I love it my chest is cool when I ride😃😃
What about the roller coasters at fantasy island in ingoldmells
roomba, snactiv, black pearl stress ball, blender, sour patch, bubble wrap, chickfila, chimeras, upside down goggles, magic milkstraws, ingenuiTEA dan please explain these time stamps is it a shopping list?
Dan can we get an updated top 10 in the world (if any have changed) another good video and I hope you are doing well as always 💙
You forgot Roller Coaster at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach. Yeah, it crawls around much of the track, but it’s such a classic and iconic ride. That’s got to count for something, right?
I sadly haven’t ridden that 🙁
It's an ok ride experience but surprisingly intense
If I was a horse and the entire earth got hit by a meteor and everybody was dead, WHAT COASTER WOULD GO TO SIX FLAGS
Smiler, oblivion, Galactica, Rita, nemesis, nemesis sub terror
What about Sik??? It's colossus but more comfortable and with water vapour man
Adventure island is my local park and rage is my fav rollercoaster. Also will you be at sub terra opening on the 27th?
Nah i feel u on the wickerman take.I'm a smiler fan but Wickerman in the back row>>smiler
Even better, wicker man on the back row in the dark >>>
I'm going to thorpe park for the first time as soon as collosus reopens... cait wait :D
Have an amazing time!!
All the rides are fantastic
My fave :D
Dragon drop - Light water Valley

Only been to Blackpool so far but with just those my top 5 would have to be
1.Big One
2.Infusion
3.Icon
4.revolution
5.grand national
Big dipper?
@@Gh0stGaminginc it was being refurbished when I went

1. Smiler
2. Nemesis
3. Wickerman
4. Swarm
5. Icon
6. Stealth
7. Mandrill Mayhem

What do you think
