i have returned to listening to Dimmu Borgir after about 9 months since my 1st( and really bad video that noone liked) reaction to them .

Liked your reaction. I can't claim to be well versed in the black metal scene as it is not really my genre (even as a Norwegian). However from my limited experience I guess this is the closest you can get to a ballad under the black metal flag (so including symphonic black metal). I found it a bit interesting (and perhaps a bit brave of them) that the two singles they released prior to the release of the "Eonian" album in 2018, this one and "Interdimentional Summit" were perhaps the two songs that were most unlike their previous music. Personally I really liked that cause it also shows that they have matured over the last 25 years and explores new styles in stead of only repeating the same old stuff all over and over again. I really like this song as it focus so heavily on the melodic and atmospheric aspect and let that take the spotlight over the pure agression.
Maybe check out their song "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse" live from "Forces of the Northern Night" concert (same concert as "Gateways" was from).

Keep it up man. Don't fret over people complaining etc, just do you and enjoy yourself. There are so many reaction channels out there, and they are just upset coming across someone doing it differently. You are on a journey, and improvement is something that develops over time and experience.
My only feedback for you would be if this YT channel thing is something you want to pursue your first priority should be sound quality. Perhaps a microphone, and find some way to edit the sound levels so your voice and the music is somewhat level.

I have a microphone. Il make sure the sound levels are a bit better next time. Glad you liked the video. My other video i mentioned was terrible and i hate it myself but i can see how i have grown doing these types of videos and where i have improved.

Good review! Dimmu is a favorite of mine though I'm not much into black metal. Mourning Palace might be another good suggestion.
