    That CPS worker is terrific. I’m sure a lot of parents are wanting to know how THEY might hire one to halfway investigate, downplay findings, and then testify on their behalves!

    Good for Dad in mentioning that the teachers are NOT medical professionals, I had a similar argument with our eldest’s teacher years ago. The teacher was implying that he had ADHD, (she wanted in School testing which I declined) yet our child was previously tested at our Cities Children’s Hospital and the results were negative…I had my Doctor write a letter stating the results, he wrote one heck of a letter, which I made copies of, I gave one to the School Office to attach to his file, and one to his Teachers. He was a very busy child without any learning difficulties whatsoever, he is a well adjusted adult now, with an MB and a family of his own…

    Did anyone else notice that mom stated her bf “retaliated” by taking away the internet…. Retaliated for speaking in a way he did not like?? Shows no emotional regulation, yet expecting a child to have it. First, why is a grown adult retaliating against a child for any reason? Second, by what authority does he have to implement punishment? Discipline is to teach relatable to the “offense” , if not their brains do not make the correlation. Hence, not learning the life skills necessary.

      @@Object2Injustice sure did! I found that wording to be extremely telling. I don't know anyone I would consider at least a decent parent who would associate consequences/punishment as retaliation. Retaliation implies revenge/getting even with them and that should never be even thought of when disciplining your child.
      And his authority to do so was granted by her mother by neglecting to; lay down boundaries regarding her boyfriend and her children, take immediate action to address his behavior, or bother to get out of bed to address her daughter's behavior.

    • @seanwexler8051
      @seanwexler8051 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@amyhunter7401 tbf, mom sorta left her daughter under his supervision. If someone leaves their child under someone elses supervision, it's common for the supervisor to have some authority to discipline, with limits to the kind of discipline. For instance, school administration is granted some authority to discipline a child's bad behavior by temporarily confiscating items, detention and suspension.
      Or in the case of a step parent. When my daughter was living with her mom and her husband, we were ok with him disciplining her. But, as 3 grown adults, we discussed it and set boundaries beforehand.
      Mom should have set boundaries long before her boyfriend was brought around the children. She cared more about having her boyfriend around than being a parent.

    This worker is the same kind of person that left 3 children with my neighbors for 4 years after many reports being made from me about abuse. Finally about 7 months ago they were removed when the 5 year old had laid at home with a broken femur for 10 days. All 3 were born at home and had never been to a doctor and didn't go to school. They were 7,6 and 5 at the time of removal. Cps had removed an older child 5 years ago when he was 11 and placed with an older brother. The parents were not allowed to have any further contact with him. The parents are not allowed to have contact with the 3 boys that were recently removed.

    Why do people move criminals in with their children? I’ve seen it so many times in these family court cases and it absolutely baffles me. There are so many people in the world without criminal records. Why would anyone ever consider allowing someone with a violent criminal history to move in with their children? I think it shows such a concerning lack of judgment
    That man is WAY too involved in the discipline of the children. I do not like that at all. I don’t have much faith in this mother. But if the father is really refusing birth control to the daughter that’s totally unacceptable. Many teenagers are going to engage in sexual activity with each other. Pretending they aren’t only has one likely result, children having children. That is a disastrous outcome. Dad absolutely has to get over it and provide contraception to his oldest

      Speaking of medicating, have you ever wondered why vast majority of kids on ADHD MEDS are little boys? Especially when their elementary school teacher requested an evaluation. My theory is that the teachers have trouble handling energetic boys than the girls. Too much over-medicating our children.

    • @tias2705
      @tias2705 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @Katrina-qs2rl It’s because symptoms tend to present differently between boys and girls. Boys tend to be impulsive and hyperactive while girls tend to be inattentive. Because boys tend to have obvious and disruptive symptoms, they get earlier referrals, diagnoses, and treatments. Girls are often misdiagnosed or diagnosed later in life. That doesn't just apply to ADHD either. Women are more likely to be diagnosed with autism as adults, too.

      When I turned 15 years old, it was back in 1982 and my mother took me directly to the doctor and had me put on the pill. And she stood there every day and watch me take that pill. She also had a long talks with me about birth control, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, and the reality of having sex, and potentially getting pregnant at a young age, It didn’t stop me from anything, but it did stop me from getting pregnant. Kids are going to do what kids are going to do and I think the girls are worse than the boys actually. You can’t put your head in the stand and act like nothing is happening because kids are going to do what they’re going to do. It’s best to have them prepared.

    Dad's deluded. He has a sexually active troubled teen daughter but thinks Church is the answer. No, most parents who used Church for birth control while I grew up had grand babies while their daughters were teens. Your daughter's future and her ability to chase her dreams is worth taking the extra step of exploring birth control. There are so many kinds of birth control if you don't want the pill. And if the pill is "messing with their hormones" to a negative degree you switch them to one that does not. Church is not the answer now.

    I have dealt with hypoglycemia since I was very young and by the time I was 8-10ish I knew what to eat and when. By then I knew it wasn't something that I could mess with or cheat. I know that teenagers like to test boundaries, however when that boundary doesn't ever budge you stop testing it. So, unless she is trying to hurt herself she isn't going to eat junk food like normal teens.
    She can sleep alone in a house by herself without risking her health. Also, most hypoglycemics can feel when their blood sugar is dropping and will wake up as the blood sugar is dropping. Also, most of us would never eat and then go to bed even as teens especially if we have passed out in the past.
    As someone who has dealt with this I see this as mom crying wolf. Now I'm 100% on Mom's side with getting ger on birth control and having grandma supervise her to ensure that the boyfriend isn't coming over, but in my opinion the hypoglycemia is a red herring.

      Some kids are simply not that responsible tho. I know diabetic teens who will ignore pump alarms because they want to finish what they're doing, or those that simply get distracted etc. Even as an adult with hypoglycemia I've been negligent on a rare occasion and then had to manage a crisis very quickly because I ignored signs just a little too long. I don't think any young teen should be sleeping in a house without an adult present, tho. Too many things can go wrong when children are left without easy access to an adult. Not everything is about food and bed. The older girl probably dont have any friends and all she does is sit on the internet communicating with her friends so when you yake away the wifi there will be problems. Thats what hapoens when the kids are locked up with no additional outdoor activities. Dont blame the kids. Its the same thing happening with my granddaughter. She likes coming here to us because there are no cussing and her dad encouraged her in activities games and outdoors she is able to see her friends and be a normal kid.

    Okay, 6 months isnt long enough to be moving someone in! And then allowing that someone to discipline your child! I dont care if the discipline was physical or not but if hes comfortable doing so 6 months in to the relationship then its only going to advance from there and he did it while you were asleep so hes comfortable with discipline behind your back. It's not ok for your 14 yr old to be sexually active without birth control. It doesnt matter if youre teaching abstinence or not, kids are gonna be kids and get caught up and its up to you to realize that church isnt enough. Those preachers and pastors kids are the worse with that from my experience so you aren't doing her any favors. Get her on birth control and stop acting like you have the ability to control her being sexually active. Kids gonna grow up whether or not youre ready for it all you can do is prepare them to make the best choices they possibly can. Bet they doing it on the way to church smh how naive of that father.

      And where I live, Marijuana is legal, not on a federal level but its legal recreationally and theres nothing the police or CPS can do about it. As long as its not around the children and the children can account for never seeing or smelling it, then youre good. But your kid says she smells it!!! Ive smoked all my kids lives, oldest being 17. How tf does a 14 year old know what weed smells like? All them years of smoking and my kids have no clue what it smells like and they know I do it cause I have a medical card that allows it, they know I use it medicinally because Im very open with my girls and I explain to them why its okay for me to do what Im doing and why its not okay for a child to do but they cannot tell you what it looks like or smells like except the 17 yr old cause she has the internet so she has some type of clue. I bet you the child is smoking weed too. And theres alot to say about a child who is willing to narc their mother out in order to get away from her, that speaks volumes even if its all lies, shes willing to lie on you and that shows your relationship with her.

    I get that marijuana is legal in a lot of places now and it's not looked at the way it used to be, but I also feel like if you're smoking so much that your children are talking about it or have complaints about it there's a problem.
    People can get so high that they can't function and take care of their children properly. The same goes for alcohol. I just don't feel like there should be enough substance use whether it's marijuana, alcohol, illicit drugs, etc to make it apparent to the children. In my opinion it just doesn't create a good home environment.
    I know a lot of people who will hit a weed vape or drink a couple beers in the evenings after their children have gone to bed or if their children aren't there and that's fine. I just don't feel like it's something that the children should be aware of enough to be making reports about it.
    I hope that makes sense.

      And it takes a lot of water to dilute a urine test. I used to have to take your intest at one point in time and I would drink quite a bit of water to make sure I was able to pee as soon as I got there and none of mine ever came back diluted. It's possible to accidentally do it, but it takes a lot.

      Well most of these people aren't smart enough to have their own children. Let alone to determine if someone else should not have children. Then in cases where people are divorced they tend to pit one parent against the other. What happens at one home against the other. And you see when the mom turns on the father and will do or say anything to try and hurt him. So much that they tend to harm the children. By mental abuse to the children. I've seen where they will do or say anything to try and hurt the father. And when their ask it's always saying it her child instead of saying our child or children. Like the mother got pregnant all by herself without the father. Because I know we have been through this with our grandchildren after our son was killed in a car accident. The mom ran off and left the children. And CPS called us and wanted to know if wanted to take our grandchildren. Of course we said yes. But then they tried for 4 years to take them back and give to the mom. While giving her a lawyer. She wouldn't even show up for hearings at court. Until finally she was arrested and sent to prison. For drug abuse stealing and bad checks. Before finally the judge ordered us to keep the children with full custody.

    21:44 Oh I'm sure mom drank alot of water and took a lot of vitamine C during those 6 days when she was "getting over covid" aka waiting for whatever dr*g to leave her system 😂
    Vitamine C makes the ur*ne yellow after you've hydrated in preparation for a ur*ne test, if you've taken something and don't want to be honest about it. If it looks yellow they'd might not measure the creatinine thus thinking you provided a real clean sample.
