Lmao, even as someone who owns 4 investment properties and gold/silver making up 7% of my total crypto, equities, precious metals and real estate portfolios, even I can’t justify spending $750 AUD for a playset of shiny glittered cardboard. Heck, QCR versions of the new Mulcharmy goes for 1200 apiece. Money is still money and should still be spent wisely. Why would I buy cardboard at insane prices when I can just continue to accumulate gold and silver during this economic downturn? The TCG has lost the plot and a reminder: the new Mulcharmy goes for $1 in the OCG. 🤣
@@woofwoofdoggo this has nothing to do with “financial responsibility”. And by unite them, I mean unite them in the action of “playing a game”. AND This isn’t the LARGER tables in gambling for THE RICH. This isn’t luxury by any means it’s cardboard…This is friggin yugioh bro.
Some people fail to realize that some levels of power Creep and set design and price is completely Unnecessary. If they weren’t all about the money and were a bit more competent in card design the game would have twice it’s player base and the power level would only be in the early pendulum Era with the same amount of cards we have today.
That's it, most of my friends and I just stopped playing the game with this set release. The new mandatory meta staples are just too expensive. Komoney needs to stop this greed
I still am found if this game but it shocks me how in a time where AAA game studios are called out left and right for their greed and Atrocious game design that Komoney still gets away with this Crap and few players call them out for it.
0:40 I understand the fear of this card, and it might be the most impactful card since Maxx C. But they are not the same. You can't pivot to beat Maxx C. You can pivot and beat Fuwalos. You're gonna have to respect the card, but if you do, you will be rewarded.
I love how, as a trickstar player, I don't give a shit about mulcharmys being activated against me. I actually welcome my opponent to do so and will gladly take the Maxx "C" challenge if it means burning them for game.
I respect you for going that route compared to so much of the other b.s decks be trying to do out here to not let u play the game trickstar is way more to fun to go against
This is the compromise for unlimited special summons. It was this or probably an adjustment via Master Rule. If they designed the game around Maxx C for this long and would not get rid of it without a watered down replacement, then it means they do think that was a fundamental design flaw from the start. There's a reason why other card games are not without some kind of a resource system not called Life Points and it would be amazing if some of you stopped kicking and screaming the whole goddamn time. Either acknowledge the problem exists and find ways to fix it for once in 25 years or get lost. This has gone on long enough.
I agree, my issue isn't the card itself but it's rarity, considering this card is gonna be a must at 3 for nearly every deck it's actually criminal to be so hard to get.
Disagree, I don't see the problem with unlimited special summons. The "fix" for very strong end boards are powerful board breakers like Dark Ruler, Evenly or droplet.
@ericcartman3485 this is just false. Literally snake eye format was dominated by handtraps, because pf the sheer volume of summons, recursion and gy layered interactions. Board breakers are good but only into certain decks and are most certainly not the fix for going second.
Limiting SS would not solve any problem. By limiting SS, most decks would not only die because their cards would become useless, but would also need to create new cards for these decks to be able to adapt to the mechanics, and this, in addition to killing the deck's identity, is not a simple thing to do Another thing is that limiting SS could kill the current meta decks, but new metas have managed to adapt to the new mechanics, as there are decks that do a lot with few SS The problem is not that a deck does too much SS, but rather that the effect of the cards in a given deck is too strong, and and anyone who really plays Yu-Gi-Oh can see that... In short, limiting SS would not solve any problems and would only turn Yu-Gi-Oh into a different game, as most decks would die with this limitation.
12:47 I’ll say this. This Metalmorph Card and Monster will be a lot more interesting than dealing with Egyptian God Slime. I’d rather fight this Version of Red-Eyes than Dealing with a 3000 body card that cannot be Attacked, nor gotten rid of unless tributed!
The economy over here is different and they probably had to get more money from some other countries. To even make money they have to charge outrageous prices on boxes because most of the time shipping isn't free. But they could make cards we need 3 of ultras that upgrade to QCRs instead of secrets that upgrade into QCRs. I like the idea of Fuwalos because the problem that people with the game is if they don't have cards that combo decks can't avoid to deter them from setting up giant boards there just going to ride us to victory because the most successful decks against decks like Snake-Eyes is decks like Ryzeal that has a ton of going 2nd options in the extra deck and not just in the main and believe me Bagooska and Exciton Knight aren't nothing.
Your not too slow power creep is necessary for a card games lifespan but they have ramped it up far more than they need too many times over and we’re to slow to call them out for it. We should have been in the mid Pendulum era power level today but Greed and incompetent game design has taken it too far.
Finally retaliating C also will be used again. Orphion also will rise up again soon 😊👌 Hope we see sixsam performs, double shien + naturia beast still quite good. Mermail atlantean handrip + gaios + dweller too.
