Windows 10 was garbage on a Steam Deck. Windows 11 is Garbage period. If you want a good windows experience, get an Asus ROG Ally or a Lenovo Legion Go, not only can some games take advantage of higher resolution, but it just performs way better outside of the box. That said, for games that run on the Steam Deck/SteamOS Platform, unless you're playing games like Cyberpunk fully maxed out, you don't need a dedicated Windows Machine. If you want Windows on a handheld, not the Steam Deck.

I see no reason whatsoever to install it on my deck, imo you are giving up way too much, If you really want to play windows based DRM games then just dual boot or make an installed bootable flash drive
hmm.... waiting for a portable gamepass machine... not sure this is it.
All your benchmarks are misleading because with cryo utilities enabled, you'd get to use more vram and thus can run these games at higher settings on Linux.
That genshin impact looks a lot like breath of the wild copy
I might try it for wuthering waves once the audio has been fixed.
I could be wrong, but it looks like you’re running windows 11? I honestly prefer Windows 10.
Is it worth upgrading to windows 11?
For example, doesn’t just run better ? from what I understand, we do 11 requires more power from your PC and I decided to stay in windows 10😂
Any help is appreciated
FINALLY...GAMEPASS BABY!!!
Genshin Impact at 30 FPS on high settings on. the Steam Deck OLED? I play the game at 60 FPS on my Steam Deck LCD on Windows 11.
Not sure why you're getting such poor results. Maybe the drivers need more work or something is poorly configured, but that's been my experience for the past year or so.
I prefer Steam OS, but since I enjoy playing games like Genshin Impact, I installed Windows to avoid the risk of a ban.
The drivers are just for the oled?
Is it hard to put windows on the deck?
Let's go windows
Hypothetically.... Would MS Office run under Proton in Linux on the Steam Deck? Doubt I'll ever have a need to do so. Mostly just curious if it'd work.
Can You test the one plus pad 2 ?
Is OpenGL broken with the latest drivers in Windows? Can't get any OGL apps or games running 😢
Was curious how lossless scaling performs on Steam Deck with Windows!
So genshin runs natively just fine. Not wlsure why people think you need windows.
On my lcd deck i used windows as desktop pc, mostly for Photoshop and other adobe stuff that's not available on linux, I'm curious with the oled drivers are these programs can use hardware acceleration? Because on the lcd nothing could use that
same question
Not sure if it benefits in terms of workstation but in gaming, I read a few redditors said some games that didnt work quite well on lcd drivers worked nicely now on oled drivers.
With a LCD model or with a olead. Like did they use a LCD with olead drivers? @@rcarlom9882
Does both trackpads work? On desktop mode?
0:10 that’s a very rare Fortnite skin
@@TheHornet79 Is it? How much is it worth?
@@MegaLeGaCyGaMeR It only came out when Borderlands 3 launched on Epic games. It has never came back and won't due to license agreement. It has a talking backbling which is the best part.
@@TheHornet79 i have it, lol
Yeah it's good to see windows on steam deck OLED . I also installed it on my SD card to play PUBG and stuff using LD player and my controllers didn't work and I tried handheld companion and stuff and that didn't work also and the Bluetooth didn't work for me too I think I installed windows and the driver without updating my steam deck to the beta version and I went back to the steam os and updated it to the beta and I also did reinstalled window on the steam deck SD card and the Bluetooth still didn't work for me so now I am just on my steam OS ...maybe I will try it again when they release the sound drivers and stuff my
