This not only introduced me to the masterpiece that is Epithet Erased, but it also made me realize just how much I want all songs to be sung by voice actors. It also introduced me to Beetlejuice the musical as a whole and now here I am, 7 months later, obsessing to no end over it. Their relationship is one of the most wholesome things I've ever seen. Giovanni is both actively trying to be a villain, and he's best person Molly has in her life. He may not always be the best influence, but he truly cares for his newest minion.
Molly finally getting revenge on her damn father is so wonderful. Even if it isn't quite canon I love this more than words can explain. Molly is actully around people that give a crap bout her and it is adorable.
The lyric changes to make it make more sense, the abilities being visually shown (the mute for Sylvie's scream being dumbed down, The lyrics playfully curling, a second ben...) I love it and the team did a great job on this!

I love how much the epithet team engages with fanworks :) if i'm remembering correctly, the whole 'beetle soup' epithet x beetlejuice crossover came from fan animatics, in fact i think one of sylvie's lines from the two-loween special was inspired by the fright of our lives which someone did an animatic for! the 'peepee boy' was a fan idea from a tumblr post too, not to mention how they went and voiced that 'i want it that way' animatic and posted it on the main channel! The creators are just so in tune with the fan's creations and its super sweet :D
I'd like to see this cast do Say My Name too, but Molly as a suicidal depressed girl who's father ignores her is a bit too real. Of course Molly playing Beetlejuice for that song would be hilarious
Honestly I think Molly’s voice actor is why I love this show so much.Giovanni is great and a couple others,but Molly really makes it amazing and I can’t think of anyone else doing her voice.
Dani and Kyle did a fantastic job singing, Dawn directed everything very well, Adam did fantastically on the instruments, and Altr Audio mixed everything beautifully smoothly. And of course the backup vocal crews and guest speakers were great! This turned out amazing!

The thing I love most about the story of Molly’s descent from being a kind, sweet kid into full blown supervillainy is that at no point does she stop being a kind, sweet kid.
This is AN AMAZING COVER. I love how both Molly and Giovanni fit so well in this song! Also every other character like Zora, Mera, and Martin showing up as the people to be scared! Also I love how Zora’s fear is soap and Martins fear is responsibilities!
It's such a tiny thing but I LOVE how at 3:18, on "Each _wail_ and each moan!", they sing that note in minor instead of major like in the official version. It just sounds better to me! :]
Seriously. The Broadway actor for Beetlejuice The Musical is only able to maintain a similar voice on stage 8 times a week because he has a history in screamo metal, so he knows how to make his voice sound like that without hurting his vocal chords, and Giovani’s VA doing a similar effect for even 4 minutes is not something that should be seen as anything but impressive.
I like to imagine that in the keyboard smash, Giovanni is just "puking" soup. It's everywhere, only to be cleaned up with the mere thought of turning it into steam. He has the soup epithet after all :)
I keep listening to the “trauma and fear, it sings in my ear” part and I think it’s getting to an unhealthy amount- I just love it so much! The entirety of the song was so amazing!

The Broadway actor for Beetlejuice The Musical is only able to maintain a similar voice on stage 8 times a week because he has a history in screamo metal, so he knows how to make his voice sound like that without hurting his vocal chords, and Giovani’s VA doing a similar effect for even 4 minutes is not something that should be seen as anything but impressive.

I like to imagine that in the keyboard smash, Giovanni is just "puking" soup. It's everywhere, only to be cleaned up with the mere thought of turning it into steam. He has the soup epithet after all :)
