    300 reps tricep pushdown outside of the gym, that's amazing, i'll definetly be implementing that

      I used to have some pretty jacked up elbow tendons and the band pushdowns helped me a lot

      @@petertaylor9432 i've got some shitty elbows too, hoping doing them consistently will help.

      When you are doing it with a cable the weight tension is still the same, I don't see the difference.

      @@powskier IT's just not... doesn't feel the same, doesn't affect the body the same.

    Thanks for this video! Crazy how relevant this short interview is 7 years later with regards to the FRS ISM :)

    Great information, i tried band pushups the other day and they were hard! Only could get 10 a set

    Won't the band work your connective tissue unevenly since there is more resistance the more the band stretches?

    • @rawnie79
      @rawnie79 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hjärnan Masken no. Your connective tissue does not stretch and contact. If it's under tension and moving, it's under tension and moving regardless. What are you worried about? Accidently getting as strong as Louie's lifters?

    • @hjarnansjarn5969
      @hjarnansjarn5969 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's interesting. No, just worried about getting uneven strength levels at the different ranges of motion.

    • @rawnie79
      @rawnie79 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Hjärnan Masken well getting stronger at peak contraction won't make you weaker in other ranges. Especially if you are doing other work full range.

      one of the properties of muscle is elasticity (returns to its original shape) while connective tissue doesn't have that property

    • @alexchaney8916
      @alexchaney8916 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      No because bands match the strength curves of the upper and lower body extensor muscles. The band tension becomes hardest where your body is the strongest therefore matching the strength curve.
