The ones you carry in your backpack are the ones I was using for the first few years of changing tires. If you type in "tire iron" vs "tire lever" into searches for dirtbike parts you get different results (on the site I use). When I switched to the motion pro tire irons I couldn't believe how much easier it was! Tire changes aren't something I dread anymore!

@Tokyo Offroad - thanks for all your videos, they are really interesting, helpful and great to watch. Keep coming with the maintenance and tool stuff - especially for your 4-strokes :)

Thanks for the feedback. Pleased you enjoy the videos. Most of my videos these days tend to be on 2-strokes. But whenever I work on a 4-stroke engine I'll be sure to think about making a video.

@@TokyoOffroad I noticed you and your friends prefer the 2 strokes. Is there a particular reason? I've never ridden one, but I like the road friendly characteristics of the 4 strokes.

@@tfs283 - Generally speaking 2-strokes tend to be lighter than 4-strokes and for more difficult off-road terrain can be easier to ride. They are also cheaper to buy and maintain. Certainly if I was doing a lot of road miles too I'd prefer a 4-stroke (a 450, or 500), but my current riding is about 90% off-road and I really enjoy riding the 250 2-strokes I have. We transport our bikes to the ride area so road miles are very low...

I wish I had a tyre change station like that when I fitted TuBliss to my bike... Did it on the shed floor with a couple of tyre levers on a cold winters night... I don't recommend doing it this way lol

Pretty much watching all of your videos, love 'em!, very good quality and thorough explanation. Thank You! Are you actually in Japan??? And, do you use the Motion Pro torque extension tool for the hard to reach cylinder bolts? I do, works fine. (top end video)

Pleased you're enjoying the videos. Yes, I live in Tokyo, Japan. I've been here almost 30 years now. I purchased a torque extension for the cylinder bolts, but it's not a Motion Pro one. Will use it for my next top end overhaul which I'll do a couple of weeks from now during the holidays on my 2017 KTM 250 which has done 300H now.

Have you ever replaced the crank seal on the clutch side? Mine is letting oil into the crank case.

Thanks, from your channel alone soon I will know everything I need for my bike. Where do you get your KTM parts from? Is there a good online parts store in Japan you can recommend? There are no KTM dealers in my prefecture..

I purchase my KTM OEM spare parts from KTM Liberta in Tokyo. KTM Power Parts and Wear can be ordered on their webshop and spare parts can be ordered if you phone, or email them: www.ktm-liberta.com/

I made a video which shows how to install the front wheel. Is this useful? th-cam.com/video/7qRIxzf9nqA/w-d-xo.html
