    For me, it's the best phone mount money can buy...Mirror mount is rock solid on my Z900...Wouldn't trust any other mount with my phone commuting on the motorway five days a week...

    I've gone from a xgrip to a quad lock. The quad lock is just the best thing ever on my motorcycle

    Good! you know that bar above the LED display on the 2021 cb500X? this mirror mount kit is the one I need to mount my pixel 5 to that bar for my sat/nav usage. I realize this is almost 5 years after this video, but the google maps is real cool works well!

    Hey Tony, nice vid again. I have the moto mount. Happy with it. I use the Quadlock also for my jogging. But if you are from Belgium, if you order, you have to wait almost 3 weeks for it. At least I had to. For the people that aren't living in GB, order it from a local dealer. Much faster.

    i didn't get a case with mine, just come with the locking system that sticks to your phone

    I wonder if you could use the quadlock with action cameras. The piece that attaches to the rear of the phone case could attach to the rear of an action cam case.

      They do have a ram ball mount style fitting in the range, and i've used it with GoPros

    Great review Tony; Quadlock looks like a nice piece of kit - have you any experience of the waterproof cover? Agree with you on the navmii - been using it for a few year and it’s got me out of a jam more than a few times. Cheers, Marc

      @mancavemoto  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Langersport, thanks. Yes I tend to stow the waterproof cover somewhere on me if it’s a long Ride Orleans their might be rain. Seems to work well, the touch screen becomes less sensitive, but the important thing is that it totally keeps the water out

    Hi, I was just wondering if you think the first mount you explained will fit on a Honda CBR 250. I just got mine but I’ve just realised this might not fit 😬

    Thanks for the review. I used to using a rubbery silicon mount by nitelize. After few couple thousands km of riding; my iphone7 camera was facing failure to focus on its own. Have you encounter on vibration caused issue on phone with quadlock?
    Bike : klx250sf thumper
    Handlebar : zeta fat bar sx3
    Phone : iphone 7
    Mount : nite ize mount

      I looked at both and actually found the Ultimateaddons system better value and more secure.

    this is a bit of a late comment,, hoping someone can get back to me... does anyone know whether the mirror mount will fit a Yamaha Aerox 4? the images on quad lock website are on relatively long mirrors, but this seems a bit more of a fitting size in the video. any suggestions would be great, thanks.

    • @mancavemoto
      @mancavemoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They should yes, looks like plenty of room on the mirror arm. You can also get spacers if the phone fouls on the mirror anywhere when you twist it

    What prevents someone from running upto you at traffic lights and just snatching your phone away, too many thiefs around.

    • @mancavemoto
      @mancavemoto  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can’t just pull it away, you need to release the clip under the phone before you can twist it, so it’s a two handed operation. By the time they do that (assuming they know how to) you would have time to react

    Where do you get the phone case that can be fixed to quadlock?

  • @TiagoRuivo
    @TiagoRuivo 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good product however the case is a problem. Not available for majority of phones and every time you change phone you have to buy a new case... not worth it!

    • @mancavemoto
      @mancavemoto  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yep the flexibility of the mount itself is great. They cater for all the iPhone and Galaxy ranges plus there is a universal mount that will fit onto any case. I don’t wish to be a pedant, but anytime you change your phone you also have to buy a new case...... I keep my quad lock case on my phone all the time whether I use it on the bike or not. If i change my phone I buy a new case, but it still fits on any of the quadlock mounts I have. Seems pretty good value to me?
