It's been a while since I've used these products (this was an older video), I need to try them again. I have found that I like pairing the mousse and cream with products from other brands. Thanks for watching and your input. 🙂
I've never thought to try that as a One n Done. I honestly don't think that would work the best for my curls. It's been so long since I have used this mousse I need to work it into another washday here soon.
@@lifeoffinecurls You should give it a try!! I mean I have low porosity hair and thick strands, and I was surprised how well it worked for me. I did it on dry hair and had the best results! 😍 I also raked it through my hair
The mousse is my absolute favorite product. I have went through 5 bottles. The curl cream is going to last me forever, I only use a teaspoon for each wash day. The curl cream is not my favorite as it makes my hair feel heavy but, since I have it I usually pair it with a hard hold gel. I’m interested in the oil, I use a serum or oil to scrunch out my hair normally.
My last washday I paired Curlsmith Multi-Tasking Conditioner (which is coming up in a video soon), with Dippity-Do Girls With Curls Gelée, and then the Cake Curl-Whip Mousse and I had amazing washday results. Like you, some of the products work better for me than others. P.S. I'm really not a fan of the oil. The smell is overwhelming to me (smells like chemicals), and when you first put it on it gives me a weird greasy look, but it does eventually absorb.
I use the curl cream, mousse and curl keeper original gel to seal it and give hold to the curls. I only use a tiny bit of the curl cream, as I have fine hair that is weighed down easily. I have enjoyed these products a lot. Thanks for your review!
My favorite/recommendations that are affordable for curlies would be Hask Curl Care, Not Your Mother's Curl Talk, and Twist by Ouidad. Just my suggestion after trying products for several years now; these are my favorites for my hair type. I really know nothing about your curls, but I hope this helps.
Have u tried Eden Body Shop?..the coconut shea defining cream....only product i use for moisture define and hold! Gives medium hold. Hair feels soft. I too have 2c3a hair..medium density, low porosity....
@@lifeoffinecurls actally called Eden Body Works. Im shocked how well it works. Next day i just add a bit more to refresh. No water or anything. Like it replenishes any lost moisture! Seriously one and done!
A friend told me about your channel. Glad I subscribed! If you can give my friend any advice about her hair (besides cutting and washing) please do so! Actually please advice her she needs a haircut etc! I think you see her at least once a week.
It smells like a lemon cake. I thought the scent would be a vanilla sprinkles cake batter scent , but it isn't that type of cake. It's a lemon sugar scent.
It's good to see that you speak up when a product or line doesn't work for you. It shows you aren't afraid to give an honest review.
Thank you!
i love the curl shot cream. i bought it today.

Omg I feel the same way! I absolutely LOVE that curl mousse. It’s literally soo good! 1 product wash n go!💕💕💕💕

Lol, you might have talked me into it. 😄
Wow 🤩 my curls are so similar to yours. Awesome 🤩
That's neat!🙂
I LOVE their mousse. I haven't tried any of their other stuff, but I will.
I am currently really loving the mousse too. I think I really needed a gel to help in that video. My hair may have also been on the dry side that day.
Thanks for your honest review. Your curls still looked lovely!
Thanks so much!

I feel my washday would have turned put better if I had gotten the gel.
This is my cousin Jeff’s girl. I’m a fan of my family.
I tried Cantù for curly hair I don’t think it worked that well so maybe this will work better

Haven't tried that brand yet, but it's on my list brands I want to try. It's a long list, Lol.

I figured you ment Eden BodyWorks. Most of the time I don't refresh till Day 3, then if I'm lazy or it's hot I just throw it up in a messy bun.

Lol, I'm not quite sure who you are or who your friend is, but I have some ideas. Do I see your friend on Thursdays?
I tried the mousse it kind of dries out my hair even when I use the leave in conditioner with it not to much of a fan of these Products
Yeah, I was kinda surprised by my results that day, bc when I mixed these products with other stylers I've gotten pretty nice washdays.

When I filmed this review this was actually one of my first 2-3 videos I made.
Does it smell like cake lol?
I personally don't think they smell like cake mich if at all, but a lot of people seem to think they do.

@@andromedastar4900 I guess I can see that for the mousse. I still don't think the other cake products I tried smelled like cake.
