The audience in THE VOICE UK try to get Tom to sing as often as possible and he can still sing in his 80s.
As a little, four year old boy, more than 50 years ago I became Tom's fan, it did fade away a bit, but man, he is still live and kicking after all these years! My admiration for him is renewed for some time now.
I've seen some videos from The Voice UK and I noticed a big respect between Jennifer and Tom.

I went to one of Tom Jones' concerts in the late seventies with some of my older girlfriends. He was young and in shape, gyrating with his black leather pants👀, women were throwing their bras at him! Not me, bras are expensive! But those women were losing their freaking minds! And he loved it! He was quite an Entertainer!

Check out a collab Tom did with Van Morrison... "Carrying A Torch." Van had put out an album and was pleased to have Tom also record a couple of songs of Van's from the album. This is one of those songs. Tom is 49 here.

Huh, you said when Tom Jones first came on the scene, huh yeah, in the 1960's, got a 19 out in front,..I remember hearing What's New Pussycat", I think from some crazy movie with George Segal, think they used in the movie,..and before that think he might have veen on the Ed Sullivan show, everyone was, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, The Who, Dione Warrick,..huh went from seeing him in black and white to color,..and yes its insane that he can still sing the way he sang all those years ago,..he must take very good care of his chords, his throat,..singers have to if they want to have that staying power,.thats part of it,..and he was in the thick of a time were everyone smoked,..hmmpf, I think there were several occasions where Ed Sullivan himself came out on stage as he always did to introduce the acts, smoking as well!,..it was just normal,..this was a fantastic impromptu duet, I didn't even know existed, they so should do a album, together, would be monumental,..keep going yourself, you have a very, good voice,..Godspeed, Peace ✌

It's kinda unfair as a woman can do the ending that she did and a man can't. But the crowd will pick the female due to this, but anyone who knows singing knows it's closer that it appears
This is your own personal take men and women have different qualities to their voice and have different areas in which they shine women tend to shine in the upper registers and men tend to shine in the chest voice and lower registers there's not an appreciation for one over the other just differences simple as that.
