I think her talent is sadly overlooked. Not sure why there isn't Jennifer Hudson worship like there was Whitney adoration. JH's voice has so much power and is, as you pointed out, God-given! Thank you for this reaction.

I truly believe it is the generation that we are in! If she was in Whitney's time, I think her career would have been different!
Whitney came on the scene a Star. Jennifer is being groomed to take her place with calculated career moves. Unfortunately, she doesn't have the natural likeability factor that Whitney had. There will NEVER be another Whitney. But Jennifer will be a legend in her own right.
Her talent is overlooked because she does not belong to this generation of music where they appreciate bubble gum music over classical ballads .she would have flourished in the ballad era of the 80s and 90s and she would have been the only one to give whitney a run for her money . It's just the current times where no one appreciates ballads anymore which is typical of jennifeds style so it somewhat makes her seem irrelevant and overlooked in today's music . Nonetheless she is THE VOICE of our generation and and once in a generation talent and she'll get her flowers one day
@@sxm76 Jennifer is a late artist she doesnt belong to this generation of music. She would have flourished in the 80s and 90s ballad era . Once I listen to a song covered by J-Hud, I never listen to the original version anymore because it definitely feels like the original is a failed cover of J-Hud's cover... She is incredible and thank God she made it to the top on her own even though she was told no in the competition she had to exit along the way!!! I wish and hope I will meet her one day, she is phenomenal. Thanks, Brad for acknowledging her talent, your humility is awesome
