    Dear Racheal how much penalty did u pay to Emirates , as I know if you leave them before u finish your contract u ought to do that
    I actually got accepted to the company but after finishing all the medicals I rejected ..I got scared because of the lifestyle , whether I'm physically ready for that and all staff like that...
    I'll be extremely grateful if u reply.

      Emirates has a portal that you log onto and you can swap flights through there.

    Thanks for this video it was really insightful. I have to ask, I've asked a bunch of EK crew about this on instagram but none have replied. So, I submitted my application already but I've started to worry because I heard a crazy story from this ex EK crew on TH-cam who said that the airline fired these two people for being in a same sex relationship and that they even got into some serious legal problems in the UAE. I wanted to know, are we obligated to disclose our sexual orientation to the company? I'm a lesbian and though I'm not currently dating I don't want to sign away my love life for the next 3 years in fear of getting fired and sent home with no backup plan, or even worse get in legal trouble in a foreign country

    • @roamingwithracheal
      @roamingwithracheal  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! I'm sorry to hear you're so stressed! Honestly, there is a lot of same sex couples in Dubai! And i've never known anyone personally who has had a bad experience because of this!
      Although, you have to be careful with any relationship in Dubai! It's not like a lot of other countries. eg. no holding hands in public, etc. This is what is usually looked down upon.
      Just keep in mind any relationship in Dubai must be hidden somewhat no matter what genders are involved due to their laws surrounding marriage. I hope this was somewhat helpful!

    Hi wanted to ask if there is any Nigerian or black skinned lady working for Emirates. Also, are open interviews conducted exclusively in Dubia or in my country? Flight tickets to moving to Dubai if you finally get the golden call. Is it sponsored by the airline ?

    • @roamingwithracheal
      @roamingwithracheal  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello!
      Yes there are many people working at Emirates from all over the world! People from all backgrounds and skin colours.
      When I applied interviews were held in many countries outside of Dubai! But to be honest I’m not sure if corona has changed this! It’s best to look on the Emirates Career page!
      And Emirates pays for your ticket to Dubai there is a charge for certain things once you move there but it is slowly taken out of your salary over about 1 year.
