The then 18-year-old tennis prodigy declared that she was 'very impressed', adding: 'Her forehand was incredible!' The pair met at an official 'homecoming' organised by the Lawn Tennis Association in September 2021 following Miss Raducanu's historic victory at Flushing Meadows in New York earlier that month.

Catherine was on an athletic scholarship at Marlborough and was a team captain for field hockey and (I'm pretty sure) tennis. Both she and Pippa are still avid players. Loves the sport.
