The Duchess of Cambridge showed off her rugby skills when she visited the England men’s and women’s squads during a training session at Twickenham.
Kate, who is now patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU), taking over from Prince Harry, was cheered when she allowed herself to be lifted high during line-out practice.
The duchess, who is known for her love of sport also showed her catching, throwing and kicking skills and even scored a try during a practice routine.

According to her former headmistress Mrs Susan Cameron, school officials, and classmates at Marlborough college and pupils at Down House girls boarding school Middleton was INCAPABLE at sport and NEVER ever made any sport teams.

I love how she is not afraid to put herself out there and try new sports and she has a natural ability to fit in and be comfortable being her.
You try telling that to prince louis, Katie is very AFRAID of him. That poor little child is still be punished for kicking and punching her in public, and is now being held against his will in a small darken room.

This is great news and what a super Patron Catherine will be. I love how she turns up in a pair of trainers and tracksuit and she still looks amazing, then she gets straight into chatting with the ladies team as if she is one of the girls, and even shows some of her skills off; absolutely superb. A keen sports person like Catherine is an ideal choice to be the New Royal Rugby Patron. Just watching that video of her doing a practise session with what looked to be some of the English Ladies teams & coaching staff, I enjoyed seeing & hearing her interaction with the Training Staff & the Players. It illustrates a very important tool that Catherine carries in her personal talent bag & 1 that will see her go a long way in her various Royal Roles, both present & future. That is her ability to fit & deal with people from all walks of life, Socio-economic groups, situation, age & skill set. The other thing I was struck by, was her ability & willingness to Listen to instruction, have a go & laugh at herself. She will do a brilliant Job.
