Great video. Normalising breastfeeding is such a wonderful thing to do. I've been feeding for a combined total of 43 months over my two kids and never had a single glance or comment that was negative (that I noticed). I'm definitely someone who just gets on with it, but some mums don't have that same confidence so this will really help them out
For anyone who worries I've fed three babies in public (UK) for 5, 13 & 8 months. No one ever said anything rude or judgey to me, not ONCE! Or even even looked at me funny. 😄 if anything I got the odd supportive comment..but on the whole people just happily left me to it 👍🏼
Ah glad you had all positive experiences, and good on you for embracing it. It is so about positive thinking and mental attitude. Thank you so much for watching xx
I breastfed for 9 weeks with my son and had looks in that time but no comments. Also had a creepy man stare at me whilst feeding in restaurant and trying to eat at the same time. X
Big up Emily. I loved this vlog. Topic is so close to my heart. I have been told by an ignorant security guard that I'm not allowed to feed my baby in that mall but by then my boy was 4 months and I was no longer nervous about it so I gave him a piece of my mind and complained to the center management. I'm in South Africa and we also r legally allowed to breastfeed in public.
If I could like this 100 times I would! I'm currently breastfeeding our 3 month old daughter as I watch this and these are great tips! Although she's my third I didn't breastfeed longer than a month with my other two due to lack of support! It's still nerve wracking feeding in public but I just think, how proud I am of her and I to still be breastfeeding and carry on 😊 xxx
Yes!!! Love this video! Be confident & proud that you are able to nourish your baby in the most natural way possible! I have 4 kids and I've always had problems with breastfeeding, except with my 4th (who is 4 months right now and I'm breastfeeding while watching the video) and it was extremely daunting to go out in public to nurse. One tip that I would recommend is to practice at home with the blanket/muslin/scarf or whatever cover-up you plan on using so that you're not fumbling with it for the first time in public. Practice doing it at the dinner table, in the living room, and any other room to get a sense of different chairs, different spaces, etc. and practice on both breasts. You'd be surprised to see how uncoordinated you can be with your non-dominant hand! LOL I practiced in front of a mirror as well to see what I was doing and what other people could see. That definitely helped. Then you just have to go out there and do it! Well done, Emily! Loved the video!
Confidence is definitely the key, you're right, flashing a smile always works! The breastfeeding vests and tops at H&M are great & fairly inexpensive =) We recently got home from our hols & I was surprised to find that my husband snapped lots of photos of me breastfeeding our daughter in all sorts of weird and wonderful places! He says he's proud of me for sticking at it after struggling with tongue tie & ending up combination feeding due to low supply - I definitely get confused looks when I breastfeed before whipping out a bottle of formula!
Ah Sarah that is so lovely what your husband done, it all goes so quickly and bizarrely we will probably miss it one day. Thank you so much for watching xx
Sarah Hill 😂 my family give me those weird looks too lol my baby is only 2weeks so I haven't been out much but my family just doesn't understand Breastfeeding when they all formula feed.
I purchased lots of breastfeeding /nursing tops and dresses originally from jojo maman bebe from ebay for a fraction of the price. They are so discreet and easy to use which made me feel much more confident and once I'm done I can resell them again! Thank you for your video, very helpful and empowering xxx
I know I'm the states target passed a law that any breastfeed mom gets first priority of a dressing room in front of other customers that need a room to try on clothes in order to prevent them from using the bathroom it was passed about a year or two ago :)
I've sadly just suffered a miscarriage at 6 weeks BUT we are planning on trying again as soon as we can and while I was pregnant I started watching your videos as it was my first pregnancy and they have helped calm so much anxiety! I feel like the next time I conceive I'm actually ready for what's ahead. So thank you! Xx
I'm a FTM here, my first born is due in December. I've been watching all of your videos to prepare myself all the changes that are going to happen. Thank you!
These tips are very encouraging. I've been a bit nervous in public but this video helped me yesterday when I tested it out. My son is 8 months old now and loves talking back to the TV when he sees your boys. Thanks a bunch, Emily!
Absolutely loved this video! Thank you for tips. This has given me such a confidence about breastfeeding in public. I actually fed my baby in toilet the other day as I felt very anxious about feeding in public, but I won't be doing that again. If somebody doesn't like me feeding her publicly, they can turn around and walk away.
Thankyou for striking a wonderful balance of being supportive of breastfeeding whilst not being judgemental of formula feeding in this video, my first son was formula fed fully after 6 weeks due to so many problems breastfeeding whereas my second son was breastfed for 18 months so I've done it both ways, and they're both happy and mostly healthy. But I don't think the guilt over not breastfeeding my first son will ever leave me, whenever he is sick a part of me thinks it's my fault, and he's six years old. Mum guilt! X
Haha Della massive mum guilt and so not needed. Such nice things for you to say. You have done what was needed for your children and every child is different and little if nothing is because of how they were fed as babies. Do whats best for you and them and mum guilt is more natural than breastfeeding!! Thank you so much for watching xx
So important to tell new mothers to smile & be confident. I have a 7 week old & have had people give me so much unwanted advice & be totally rude & patronising. It's really unfair. Both me and my baby need time to learn & get to know eachother! From now on I'll smile, be confident & flip them the bird.
Love this video. I've never had an issue feeding in public. But know a few people who don't have as much confidence. More videos like this are needed to be shown to new breastfeeding mums.
Perfect timing! My first baby is 5 weeks old and this is so relevant to our lives! Haven't really gone out yet but these tips will help when we do, shortly!
This was SO needed I'm glad I found this! I was lucky I could express from day 1 with my baby so I'd always stress about pumping to take bottles out. Now she's almost 4 months I really don't want to do bottles anymore unless she's being babysat. Public breastfeeding has always been a big thing for me worrying about it and now I feel much more confident after this video! No more faffing with bottles for me!!!
Hey Emily, I started watching your channel about 6 months ago while pregnant with my 4th little boy! (All the way from South Africa) I’m absolutely addicted and love all your videos- thank you! Xx
Thanks for the tips, I am a soon to be mum for the first time, and love the idea that I can try and utilise clothes I already own for breastfeeding by layering them. I agree that a lot of breastfeeding clothes are very expensive.
I am NOT going to torture and punish my Little baby because others are ignorant. I honestly don't care what uneducated people have to say about it. I am extremely conservative and go to great lengths to make sure we are covered in every way. OUR God designed us all in the perfect way. It's Natural and not man made. You can control what your baby gets that is healthy. I support breastfeeding because you are helping their immune systems have a fighting chance to not be sickly with allergies etc. Hugs to you all❣💌🚼💗
Vlogs By Steph I used to think this way.. until I started breastfeeding... during a summer where the temp was 100 degrees. Between my baby overheating and not getting airflow under the cover, and people being offended.. I’m sorry but my baby wins.
@@SegmentswithSammy it's not necessarily "disrespectful" if someone is not covered to you liking. You always have the option to look elsewhere. The person is just feeding their baby. They can be exposed if they want. Its honestly none of your business.
thankyou so much for this video.. I definitely feed my baby with pride as I watched all your breastfeeding videos whilst pregnant and it gave me so much confident that people think my baby is not my first bcz im so comfortable feeding anywhere anytime! 👌❤👶🍼
Great tips! I found so much comfort in wearing tops specifically designed for breat feeding with the slits on the side and loose enough to be discrete when breastfeeding.
Well said! You put into words everything I've experienced. We vacationed in Italy this summer, once you can do it at a bus stop on a cliff, you can do it anywhere! Thanks for helping to normalize it!
Aww I’m so glad I found this.! I found it so hard and I always felt shameful doing it in public because I would get dirty looks sometimes as if I was doing something wrong ! About to have another baby and hoping to have even more confidence this time around. I loved hearing you talk about it and yes it can be stressful but shouldn’t be ! I enjoy reading the comments as well from other mommies who are confident . Helps me a lot ❤️☺️
Initially breastfeeding was nerve wrecking for me; but I eventually got the hang of it. My boy is now 8 months old. I found that here in the USA (at least on the area of NY where i live) people have been very accommodating and helpful! Thanks Emily Norris for all your videos. They're always interesting!
I remember the first time I ever went out with my newborn and when he needed a feed I started panicking as I didn't know where to feed him- ended up going to a changing room! Now I mainly feed him in the car if I'm out shopping or running errands! Love all of your videos Emily 😄
Love this video! I'm a new mom and it definitely has been hard for me when going out trying to feed my baby. I go straight to my car and feed him. And then I think I shouldn't shove myself in my car it's normal to feed your baby in public. I guess I'm just afraid of having someone tell me something or look at me wrong. But not no more!! I have right thank you so much for this encouraging video ❤️
This was super helpful! Just had my second baby and it's my first time nursing. This weekend really showed me how un-nursing friendly places are here in the US. It was so stressful!! This helped though so thank you❤️☺️
I think it bother me less feeding in public with perfect strangers than people I actually know . Because stranger are busy ,they most likely not paying attention at all to what you are doing and they just move on with their life, if you just cover yourself a little. But exemple of MIL who come sit right next to you and grab your shoulder and is just starring at you the whole time even if you have a cover on and keep saying over and over" Aw these little noise of baby sucking blablblabla "... IT irritates me so much I don't know why 😲
Such a good point, strangers don't need to look at you, where as people you know who would normally look at you don't know where to look! Thank you so much for watching xx
Great tips. I remember when I nursed my babies , the first was hard and took like 3 mos to get the hang of it. After that it was so easy. My second was a breeze. Great job! You're doing great!!!!
I have breastfed both my babies in public and have been so lucky not to get any nasty comments or looks. I think as you said if you are confident and smile then no one should have an issue! Mothers should not have to feel like they are doing something wrong, your baby needs to eat, simple as!!!
Emily I’m so glad I’ve found you! I’m 32 weeks pregnant and you are my fave Mother vlogger! You’ve really helped me organise everything ready for baby and I have a long list of tips written in my notes on my phone for when she arrives! Thank you xx
I am only 7 weeks pregnant. I recently had some spotting and have been advised bed rest. I am surrounding myself with baby related thoughts to create a positive attitude. I somehow feel this will keep the baby safe. This might be the strangest reason to watch this video but I must say you rock motherhood.
Great tips. It's so hard when you're a new mom...and the tips and the support really help. It does get easier--but I recall sitting in my car to feed because I felt so uncomfortable. New moms especially will find this so helpful!
It is so hard, and definitely do what makes you feel most comfortable. Everyone is different, and without opinions the world would be a boring place right. Thanks for your comments. Thank you so much for watching xx
My baby boy is due in just over 2 weeks now!! I am planning to breastfeed but I'm very nervous so this video was a great help 😄 your videos have been so helpful to me over the past few months and now I'm addicted. Thanks Emily 😘
Love this video. I've sat in Costa and proudly breastfed my daughter. Got a couple of looks but didn't let it bother me. It's natural. Just used my cardigan as a bit of a cover.
I don't have kids myself, but a few times I've seen someone breastfeedinng in public. I admit I was a little uncomfortable, but don't see anything wrong with it, just be a little discreet about it, and cover up a little.
Thanks for your video! Hopefully people will learn to accept breasts are a source for food and not anything else. I think after you breastfeed one baby you absolutely don't care about what people think of you. Great tips as always Emily!
I want to hug you right through the screen! You are so warm and understanding. I also appreciate your disclaimer up front because you are absolutely right; do whatever is right for you and your baby! I recently began combo-feeding (formula and breastfeeding depending on the time) and it helps to be encouraged that either option is right. I completely agree with just looking at the baby whenever you feel nervous. Great advice! Also, I breastfed in front of a full length mirror just so I could realize that it really isn't a big deal and that I'm not showing anymore skin than I would in a swimsuit or in an outfit I'd wear in my 20s (lol). Thank you for all of your great videos! I haven't stopped talking about your carseat on wheels. My infant is 4.5 months but I'm hoping by the time I have a third (oldest is close to 5 years) that I can afford it!
I had my baby at 17 and decided to stick with breastfeeding, I live in LA California where people walk around with their boobs out but breastfeeding gets a lot of stares 🤔 luckily all my family was very supportive and nobody ever approached me to tell me anything. Many stared or looked uncomfortable but when you have a hungry baby nothing else should matter ❤️
Exactlyyyy the baby is priority not the other people even if is family or closer ones(should be more empath!)and also dirty looks are pervert even from old woman who only think the dirty in the world and reproducing the punnishment to moms instead to the dirty porn based society. Im so tired to see how babies pays the consecuences of moms focused at the marketing;at others looks;fashion and style instead of psicoemotional neurocognitive consecuences in adulthood to their own baby(and its a problem for the future of all!!). Stay strong moms of the world and do it for your baby and for all of human kin🌏🤰🥺💗
LA CALIFORNICATTIOON HOLLYWOOD darkest place in the world..of course society based on such a porn based and against newborns and mothers is like this. Stay strong moms 💗🙏
Love this video. I live in Denmark, where people breastfeed everywhere. A few people (women) stared at me but then they smiled and said something positive :)
As a first time mum i was super uncomfortable feeding in public.. until i got a big nursing blanket.. it gave me soo mch confidence and im totaly at ease feeding in public ever since.my baby is 6 months old now. I bot this lovely cover called ' the breastfeeding blanket' ..
I'm not normally one to comment on videos, but I just want to say thank you! As a new mother I didn't feel quite comfortable in the role from the start, but watching your videos really helped me. It sounds silly, but you make me feel more confident and making me love being a mum so much more. You are so calm and have good tips I can relate to. So thank you! Lots of love to you and your family from Denmark :)
Thank you for posting a video on this topic and giving confidence to mothers all around the world that it is possible to breastfeed in public and you really make the task of breastfeeding easier for us all! Love your other video on breastfeeding too! I watched it at a time when I was truly exhausted and in total despair over breastfeeding, my little one was about a month and a half, I was feeding around the clock and looking for help on youtube. That's how I discovered your channel. You gave me hope that it was going to get better and I instantly felt more relaxed. It got much much easier. Thank you again for everything!
I really don't care where I am when I feed. Like you, I use multiple layers of clothing or a small cloth. The other day I was heading to a concert without baby for first time. I managed to express milk on the train and at the concert and put in my cool bag to bring home. No one knew what I was doing . Great tips as always x
I always watch videos when I'm feeding my baby and what a great video this was. Thanks Emily, especially for sharing/showing those outfits. Because when I'm shopping online I can't always understand the functionality of the top.
These tips are great! I am a new mom of a five week old. I am a bit nervous about feeding in public but i have started feeding her on my deck, on the front porch, ect to build my confidence.
Bella's 3 and a half now, we don't plan on having anymore and I've never breast fed yet here I am still watching this because without fail I watch ALL of your videos! Some great tips and love what you say at the beginning, you're so lovely xx
LOVE IT! I love the changing room idea. I would usually just feed my son in the car before we go in somewhere but I never thought of that ! I've never used a cover up, when he was younger I just used a muslin blanket as well. I'm now super comfortable feeding in public with my 9 month old. 😊
Thanks so much Emily, I first watched this video and the other one on breastfeeding last year while I was pregnant. I’m currently nursing my 3.5month old and these tips couldn’t be more useful! xxx
Great tips Emily; I hated breastfeeding in public with my second baby but have it down to a fine art now! I use loads of these tips - feeding in the fitting rooms has changed my life! SJ x
This was so helpful!! So I’m actually 2 days late with my second baby. I didn’t manage nursing with my daughter (now 2.5) for various reasons and keen to have another go with this one. Both your videos have really helped me so thank you! Fingers crossed I get a bit further with it all this time!
I'm 17 and not thinking about getting a baby soon , but still watch it because it is so satisfying to watch people nursing thei're baby .... donnu why :)
I am so happy you made this I am having my second baby in 3 weeks!! I didn't breastfeed my first but I'm going to try this time and you give me so much confidence to see it though. Thank you x
Wow best of luck Tiffany with the birth, and hopefully the feeding but don't put any pressure on yourself either way. Thank you so much for watching xx
Great tips! I EBF as well as in public and I cover up, but it still makes me a little anxious because I'm afraid someone will not like it. Anyway I think you've provided some very handy tips, thank you! And I saw a few thumbs down on this video...who would thumbs down this? She not only provided breastfeeding tips, but she is so pleasant! Some people are just miserable. Probably jealous!
Lovely video great tips. I have up most respect for breastfeeding mums sadly it wasn't ment to be for me and my 4 month old. But a fed baby is a happy baby. Totally agree with you Emily it doesn't matter formula or breast xx
I would have never thought of breastfeeding my baby in a dressing room if I'm out and about, that's an amazing idea your whole video is great thank you so much needed this!😭🥰💞
This video had me in tears. I really wanted to breastfeed and did it for a few days but I felt so uncomfortable in front of people that I stop before we even left the hospital. It really upsets me that I quit so soon. I can't wait to have another baby so I can try harder. Love all your videos your my mummy idol 😀
Thanks for this video I watched it just before the birth of my son and again now, as am breast feeding and found it hard to breast feed in public but it's all about the confidence 👍xxxx
Really needed this video :) I'm determined to breastfeed and you've really inspired me! I'm three weeks into breastfeeding and absolutely loving it!! ❤️
Thank you so much for posting this. I have a 1 month old daughter and I get so nervous about strangers seeing my boobs in public!! This makes me feel more confident!!
Thank you so much for this video Emily! I've only just started to gain confidence in breastfeeding in public (I used to being expressed milk in a bottle to warm up but one day my son decided that wouldn't be enough so I had to do what I had to do 😂). It's good to know that it's illegal to discriminate against a breastfeeding mother - I had a look and it is also illegal in New Zealand where I live so I feel confident now if anyone ever tries to challenge me about it! Although I have never had any negative feedback from anyone about it 😊 love your videos so much as a new mum to a 12 week old! Really helped as my family are still back in the UK so I needed the support! Xxxx
Thank you so much for this video. I'm 35 weeks today and hoping to BF, but like you said, it takes some figuring out in the beginning. Not only were these tips great, it made me feel a lot better that this nervous feeling is normal.
Love all your very informative facts and tips. I still believe it's not on me to be 'respectful' and I don't ever use a cover. It's others that need to be respectful of breastfeeding mothers
This made me subscribe to your channel. I'm 14 months in on exclusively breastfeeding and I love it. I'm also a new Mom and I haven't received a dirty look or comment about breastfeeding. It's a powerful connection to your child, although it's very stressful to have a child depend on you that much to the point where you're the only one who can comfort them. Your positive attitude transfers through the camera and I wish we could be real life friends. Thank you so much I know I'm a bit late on this!
From someone who struggled horrifically and couldn't fully breastfeed if I see a mom , I'm like wow what a gift . You do your thing honey and let your baby eat. Let nobody ever stop you . X
was actually also watching this while breastfeeding. I actually bought formula milk to give an emergency bottle when in public. but I feel so motivated after watching this that I really feel like eh... if you accidentally see some skin it's okay... you see way more on TV :D gotta suck it up and give my little girl what she needs.
These are such great tips for new breast feeding mummies. I really think surrounding yourself with fellow mummies who are breastfeeding is really helpful as you can gossip and ask each other questions. Also wanted to say that John Lewis is really great for breastfeeding e.g. separate room, water tank for drinking and comfy chairs. Thanks for the tips. Looking great as always Emily. (might have a small girl crush on you. 😉😶 sorry not sorry) xxxx
If it is your first it usually is very painful. If I do so in public I'd cover my self with a towel, not for other people, but to make sure perverted pigs don't take pics of me.
Brilliant video Emily, it is so important for new mums to feel comfortable breastfeeding in public, I am still feeding my 27 month old son, although just morning and before bed now, but not once did anyone say anything to me when I was feeding him in public. Have you ever thought as training as a breastfeeding supporter? I think you would be brilliant.
Thanks for this video, really helpful! I think it's always the fear that someone will say something that makes me nervous. But nobody actually has yet! Also, I use an app called feed finder that shows breastfeeding friendly places (and baby changing facilities) near your current location.
This past week I was walking through the airport while breastfeeding my daughter with a Muslin blanket tucked in my bra strap and I thought I was a genius for thinking of tucking it in my bra strap! It's seriously so much easier than using my nursing cover!
Thank you for the tip about tucking a blanket under your bra strap. That is going to make my life so much easier! I'm from Ontario btw :) Love your vids so much!
I'm due in 9 weeks with my first baby and planning to breastfeed! This has been soooo helpful, thank you! I know it's natural and I love the idea of breastfeeding.. it's just all the other eyes that stare and watch that makes me nervous! Haha 😅 xx
Don't be nervous Brooke, it's the most natural thing so it's at least worth a try. don't put pressure on yourself either way though. Thank you so much for watching xx
I found my car a real sanctuary when I was struggling with breastfeeding. If you are out and about you usually have your car with you, you can sit in the back and get comfortable and nobody will look, if they do, they are being rude!!
Thank you for this video. I just had my baby last week and I'm currently breastfeeding but dreading to do it outside so your tips are very helpful and makes me feel less isolated about my breastfeeding choice!! Keep on going! ;)
I'm going to southampton this week and it's the first proper day out since having my son 3 weeks ago and I'm nervous and worried about breastfeeding in public, it's also a trek from home so thanks for these tips. I'll be going caffeine free though as it's not good to have too much of it when breastfeeding !
Love these tips! You have the exactly the same opinion as me about being respectful (and you don't need to be naked to feed your baby) I am definitely going to use the muslin under the bra strap method with this baby if I am out in public. I breastfed my daughter for 6 months but never in public but I am thinking with this baby (due in 4 weeks) I will probably have to feed in public as I will be more out and about more so will keep all your tips to mind. Thanks xx
P.s i watched your videos all through my pregnancy, when we discovered our baby was a girl the first name that popped to my head was.. EMILY! So our daughter is called Emily Jo :-) xxx
Great video. Normalising breastfeeding is such a wonderful thing to do. I've been feeding for a combined total of 43 months over my two kids and never had a single glance or comment that was negative (that I noticed). I'm definitely someone who just gets on with it, but some mums don't have that same confidence so this will really help them out
Well done Sarah, and yes if it gives just one mother more confidence then it has been worthwhile. Thank you so much for watching xx
For anyone who worries I've fed three babies in public (UK) for 5, 13 & 8 months. No one ever said anything rude or judgey to me, not ONCE! Or even even looked at me funny. 😄
if anything I got the odd supportive comment..but on the whole people just happily left me to it 👍🏼
Ah glad you had all positive experiences, and good on you for embracing it. It is so about positive thinking and mental attitude. Thank you so much for watching xx
Me too, I have a 10 year old, 5 year old and a 5 month old. I have breast fed them all everywhere and anywhere and have only ever had 1 bad look.
I breastfed for 9 weeks with my son and had looks in that time but no comments. Also had a creepy man stare at me whilst feeding in restaurant and trying to eat at the same time. X
who else is watching the video while breastfeeding?
klinecks boo me!! 🖑🖑🖑
me!
klinecks boo 🙋🏼
Haha! Actually, yes!
lol pumping at work!
Good on you Cindy. We need to see more of this!! Thank you so much for watching xx
The breastfeeding vests and tops at H&M are great & fairly inexpensive =)
We recently got home from our hols & I was surprised to find that my husband snapped lots of photos of me breastfeeding our daughter in all sorts of weird and wonderful places!
Lauren Allen hopefully they'll see the benefits & be supportive soon enough =) Lots of luck with your breastfeeding & motherhood in general!!
I purchased lots of breastfeeding /nursing tops and dresses originally from jojo maman bebe from ebay for a fraction of the price. They are so discreet and easy to use which made me feel much more confident and once I'm done I can resell them again! Thank you for your video, very helpful and empowering xxx
Great tip Jamie, thanks. Thank you so much for watching xx
I know I'm the states target passed a law that any breastfeed mom gets first priority of a dressing room in front of other customers that need a room to try on clothes in order to prevent them from using the bathroom it was passed about a year or two ago :)
Great idea. Thank you so much for watching xx
That’s great to know!!!
Xx
You should get the d-penalty
I'm a FTM here, my first born is due in December. I've been watching all of your videos to prepare myself all the changes that are going to happen. Thank you!
These tips are very encouraging. I've been a bit nervous in public but this video helped me yesterday when I tested it out. My son is 8 months old now and loves talking back to the TV when he sees your boys. Thanks a bunch, Emily!

“A good way is to flash them 😁.... a genuine smile” loool
This video was exactly what I needed to watch right now. Thanks Emily!
Aw love this! So glad it was helpful - Elliot is the cutest! xx
Ah 5 weeks Corrie, I hope it helps. Enjoy you new arrival. Thank you so much for watching xx
Love this! Going in to week 9 of breastfeeding and these videos definitely boost your confidence on breast feeding in public!
Hugs to you all❣💌🚼💗
Here here Regan, great words. Thank you so much for watching xx
Regan Starr I don’t think breastfeeding is ever the problem, it’s when you don’t cover or have respect for others.
Vlogs By Steph people try to cover up a bit but it can be difficult
Glad my videos have been of help. Thank you so much for watching xx
Emily, your videos have been my absolute guide to pregnancy and now motherhood. Very nervous about feeding in public so this is so helpful.
This vids is a confidence booster to all mothers especially the new ones.
I breastfed both of my children and it's something I feel so strongly about, I could honestly talk about it all day! X
Rexy Smith my mil stares at me and watches while I feed so uncomfortable xx
Such a good point, strangers don't need to look at you, where as people you know who would normally look at you don't know where to look! Thank you so much for watching xx
Omg that is so annoying!
Ask her if she's hungry.
Ashley 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes Laura, simple as! Great attitude and so nice to hear a positive story. Thank you so much for watching xx
Really.. you should be proud!! And i am proud of you that you are feeding your baby by yourself!! I am too.. for 6months now :)
Thanks and well done you too, super proud! Thank you so much for watching xx
Thank you for sharing this! I'm so glad that I'm not alone in thinking about the logistics of feeding my baby when out in public. This really helped!
❤️
I'm 24 weeks pregnant and planning to breastfeed exclusively this time. This video is very helpful for me! Thank you xxx
Wow thank you so so much xx
Thank you for posting a video on this topic and giving confidence to mothers all around the world that it is possible to breastfeed in public and you really make the task of breastfeeding easier for us all! Love your other video on breastfeeding too! I watched it at a time when I was truly exhausted and in total despair over breastfeeding, my little one was about a month and a half, I was feeding around the clock and looking for help on youtube. That's how I discovered your channel. You gave me hope that it was going to get better and I instantly felt more relaxed. It got much much easier. Thank you again for everything!
I’m due to have my first baby in 2 months and this is something I’m really nervous about. But this video has actually calmed me down quite a lot! 👏
Thank you for the great tips. It is quite nerve racking at first, but now I've got the confidence it doesn't bother me at all xx
Great to hear Stephanie!!
Here here. Whatever suits is the most important thing. Thank you so much for watching xx
I would have never thought of breastfeeding my baby in a dressing room if I'm out and about, that's an amazing idea your whole video is great thank you so much needed this!😭🥰💞
Im day 8 breastfeeding for the first time despite this being my 3rd baby. Thanks for these tips x
“Flash them.. a smile” I wondered what you were going to say then 😂 thanks for the tips! I’m 22 weeks pregnant and found this very helpful xx
Thank you for „if you choose to and your body allows you to“!
Thank you so much for posting this. I have a 1 month old daughter and I get so nervous about strangers seeing my boobs in public!! This makes me feel more confident!!
Thank you for this video! I recently had a baby 4 weeks ago and feel very nervous breastfeeding in public. You gave some handy tips ❤️
Emily you are my fav vlogger. I've learned so many tips from you since I got pregnant and now my boy is almost one..
great video! I also found it better to wear sport bras or softer bras as opposed to fidgeting with a nursing bra's clasps and flaps.
Great tip Tiffany. Thank you so much for watching xx
was actually also watching this while breastfeeding.
Thanks Jennie. John Lewis is a great tip, totally agree. Thank you so much for watching xx
I have a 4 weeks old baby, and I am still struggling with breastfeeding. I found this video very helpful, good tips. Thanks
Niceee ma'am be comfortable and confidence👍👍
I think I'm kind of addicted to you Emily 😱🤓
mee too xxx
Haha thanks Shikha. Thank you so much for watching xx
me too i love you movie's
I watched this while feeding my baby. It really helped me and my mind to wrap around the subject :)thanks
Keep on going! ;)
This video is timely as I tried my first breastfeeding experience in public today! Really needed the tips thanks Emily xxx
Thanks xx
Best of luck with the arrival in 4 weeks!! Thank you so much for watching kelly xx
P.s i watched your videos all through my pregnancy, when we discovered our baby was a girl the first name that popped to my head was.. EMILY! So our daughter is called Emily Jo :-) xxx
