    Even though these shows are over 10 years old, I look forward to each episode. Not only are Kirstie and Phil quite knowledgeable about real estate, they have fantastic personalities. They are great for putting many smiles on my face, 😂😂, more like laughter.

    The requirement for room when family comes to visit, is something I don't get. I admit my family isn't close so that might be why I don't get it. In my mind family comes for a meal, or if they stay over, it's once a year at Christmas. Contemplate the room as an office or storage first. Those are spaces you're gonna use daily not just once or twice a year. If you can fit a fold-away bed (like the woman says at the 17:20 ish mark is what they have now), then what's wrong with that? Do people want their family staying for weeks and months?? That's a roommate or a lodger. I cannot contemplate a space where you are having such a revolving door of guests that you think a single sized extra room isn't enough space.

      I agree. I think young couples tend to buy into scenarios that they think are correct, rather than what actually works for them. Murphy Bed units are very functional. Pull out convertible couches and day beds work as well...for the occasional guest. Why is it so difficult to think outside the box? As an aside...my family is close but most of us choose a hotel room to bed down in after a great day of conversation, drinks and good food..but that's us.

      Sad you’re not close to your family. I’m Irish and we have family to stay very often. Weddings/funerals/holidays we are always putting up someone or 3 from family and love it. So do absolutely understand 🍀

    What a feel-good show! The bonus is real-life talk about "present wants, future needs." Indeed, how DOES one envision the completely unknown future? Making plans based on salary -- what if you lose your job? Choosing location based on child care -- what if you remain childless? And what about staying together as a couple at all?

      Except they did buy the houses though. I remember looking up one of the houses from an earlier episode, and it was, indeed, purchased around the same time the episode would have been filmed. It just seems like a whole lot of trouble to go through to just film an episode with random actors. Like this is a house hunting show. It's not worth faking, lol.

    Sure wish each episode was clearly dated! It’s annoying, given the speed at which the property market changes. And please, can we get new episodes? With production dates clearly visible, please.

      Hi from the UK, many houses here have 1 or 2 double or king sized rooms, and the extra is a box room, barely room for a single bed. Hope that helps 😊

    Why do people feel entitled to open wardrobes and cupboards instead of focusing on room size, etc. Cupboards are rarely for sale and it's so intrusive to look inside them

    • @TheLadyk53
      @TheLadyk53 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If the wardrobe and cupboards are built ins then the buyers have every right to look inside them to see what amount of storage they might be getting if they purchase the property. If they are stand alone wardrobes, then, certainly do not look inside them.

    • @Kevin-sm8pn
      @Kevin-sm8pn ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You do know the name of the show, right? lol The house itself isn't the only thing to consider. It's also the location and the proximity to the things you want and need. This is especially the case with Liz and Neil since the whole reason for the move was to be near his family. And, also, the value of the homes they purchased are certainly much higher than the houses even though they are much nicer and larger, largely because they are in less desirable locations.

      I think it was just the shot flattening perspective. There were probably some steps in the front garden going down to the house. But I must admit , it did look odd, just seeing half the windows, like the house had sunk into the ground.
