Thank you for the question. I go into detail on how to set up the map in video 2 in this series. But the quick answer is Base Layer - Shaded Relief (normal). Map Layer - Slope Angle Shading (gradient), MVUM, and MapBuilder Overlay if you want to see hiking trails, roads, and labels for other stuff like that.
Thanks for the reply, did watch that video. You must a better graphics card in your computer. When i zoom in the view gets blurry? Your views have a lot more details?
@@chrisleuthold8206 I looked at both my iPhone 15 and my laptop and they look about the same. One thing I did notice is a few public pieces I go to regularly look more blurry than the private spot I picked out for the video series. Interesting find. Perhaps LiDar imagery gets better with time/technology and some of these maps are updating, say, like aerial imagery has gradually improved over the years. Maybe some of the older LiDar machines aren't as good as the one's being used by the companies making the maps today. I don't know for sure, but I see a difference too. I believe there is enough there to check the right spots for sign even with a little blur though.
