In Video 4 of the Mapping for Mature Bucks Series, I dive into how I use CalTopo to predict buck movement during the pre-rut and rut using LiDar Shaded Relief base layer with slope angle shading turned on. With some e-Scouting pre-work, you can reasonably predict mature buck movement in key terrain features in hill country.
