I’ve been playing Snake since July and he’s been my main ever since. I got Smash Ultimate since and it is my first smash game. I remember trying him out for the first time since I got the game because he looked cool and I hate playing him for how weird his play style was. I’ve been looking for a main for a while and I only played adventure mode since then, but when my friends and I have decided to get on discord and started playing smash last summer, It was the time when I started to play competitively, so snake was the second decision from Little Mac, which he was my previous main. Now, I learned and discovered new combos, styles, strings, plays I’ve created on my own ever since and I approve this guide for those who is interested in playing Snake. This is how I would play Snake and to add on to this guide, there are many more you can do with Snake.
This guide is exactly what I was looking for. I want to see more from snake, because I’ve just seen another top player who sticked the c4 on the edge of the platform, I mean the corner, not on the floor, from grab position while going up jumping and... it’s exciting xD ty so much

If you Stand at the edge of the stage with your back turned,you can pull grenades, shield and they'll fall at the edge for extra pressure,think of it as the mortar without the load up.It helps for low recovering enemies.just tossing in my two cents.
Tips on landing grab? I try the approach with a grenade in hand but then we just trade, they'd literally rather deal with an explosion than being off stage against Snake.
1. You actually trust your janky ass second counting more than what's in the game? It's actually 2,5 seconds. 2. Why are you sitting and guessing/calculating/rounding off damage on moves when you literally have a damage counter to the right? Otherwise a decent guide!

Grenade percentage tip: the damage that the grenade explosion does changes depending on how hard you throw it. Hard throw it for about 14.5%
