      @@MrBean0829 Hello long lost cousin! That is an exciting discovery! William Bean is my 7th great-grandfather though my 6th great-grandmother. Elizabeth Bean. Who was married to my 6th great-grandfather Capt. George Russell. Though my 4th great grandfather's name George Daniel Russell may be more familiar to you. Thanks to the Disney series "Davy Crockett". Who made my 4th great-grandfather a house hold name. It is exciting to meet a cousin!

      @theoccasionalclaypiper My side comes down through Jr to John bean another John Bean, and then a Samuel. There were a bunch of Moonshiners in the family for a while. Took my sister months, but she was able to trace us back. Odd enough my uncle from my mom's side contributed because the Roddy family fought with the Bean family in the Revolutionary War.
