in rural Kenya fuels his passion for social innovation and entrepreneurship. Tom is the youngest recipient of the Echoing Green Fellowship, is a Forbes 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneur and has won Women Deliver Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award and

Brilliantly said, well constructed talk! I agree - even large scale social entrepreneurship type movements can focus on optimising people in local areas to their local problems which are of particular focus to the movement - meaning that local people are absolutely pivotal and crucial to addressing local problems. Giving them the tools and education they need to succeed is something a social entrepreneurship can do even if for a bigger cause - because that cause has many small problems that constitute that large problem it may attempt to address.
