It was a truly memorable day for me, a long time coming but well worth waiting for. Made all the more memorable by the friends that attended for the two days. Of course yet again Robin captured, edited and produced yet another cracking Captains Blog.
Wow, I have been totally and utterly captivated by this video. I enjoyed this from start to finish. A dream come true for Broad Ambition's skipper, Charlie Griffin and I trust that everyone had an enjoyable and safe time with MTB102, HMS Explorer and Trumpeter. And award for the Best Engine Sound goes to, well, it has to be MTB102. Thanks again Rob. I've been watching ... and what I saw was sheer brilliance.
Remember that MTB102 is running on 33% of the power she had in 1937. Also listen to the change in engine note as her 600hp Cummins diesels run up to 2200rpm. Music to an old marine engineers ears. Even better than rock and roll!!

My grandad served on MTB's in WW11 as part of the Coastal Forces. He was on MTB83 as well as others.

Very pleasant to watch - pleasing on the eye with a sensible dcumentary. Thoroughly enjoyed, thank you.
