PS5, I've always been playstation since the 1, I can't really put my finger on it. I'm not a fangirl but there is just something about it and the games it releases. I got a PS1 as a gift and haven't played or explore xBox ever and I know there is Halo which doesn't interest me and I love the games I grew up on with Playstation like Crash, Final Fantasy.
@GadgetsGearCoffee fair enough at the end of the day it’s about what works for you. I also grew up in the PlayStation ecosystem and only jumped into the Xbox ecosystem about 4 years ago and having tried both Xbox is also quite decent
I have both and was leaning towards PS5 until the Apex Legends 120 FPS update, which looks much better on XSX. I also prefer the discord integration on Xbox, it works much better.
Ive had xbox and PlayStation for over 20 years. If you care about playing all the best games then PlayStation is the way go. Xbox has great games to but theyre not on the same level as PlayStation. What made xbox amazing was the multiplayer aspect with halo. PlayStation had nothing to compete for a long time. Those days are completely over now as they share almost all multiplayer games. Once xbox went full pc day one theyre game output and quality tanked hard.
@@joeydirt420To me, both consoles have been lacking in games this generation. A pc that is no fuss and price right, like consoles are, would be awesome because both exclusives end up on pc.
Gotta have both! Each are fantastic in their own right. One thing not mentioned is a preference for Achievements or Trophies. Achievements popping sound is addictive, and I like how I can change colors and screen placement. Trophies always pop in the top right, and the sound for regular trophies isn’t as satisfying, but the Platinum Trophy sound sure is.
I have both.. But dolby vision support on the series x coupled with the new lg g3 55 evo and the graphics just look out of this world.. Halo infinite, forza, the witcher 3, fenyx rising, etc have never looked better..
Besides forza which is a racing game so you dont even really pay attention to graphics once your playing. The rest have shit graphics. You dont even know what good graphics are and what good hdr looks like in a video game. Games like horizon fw, ghost of tshumia, etc have the best graphics and hdr. Your missing out.
I promise I’m thinking of doing the same. The games I really want are also on ps4. So I see no reason to have a PS5. Also I’m getting a pc and Sony exclusives are going to pc. So I got patience to wait
I have both, plus the switch. However, I barely have time to play due to studies and work. I used to play a lot of multilayer on the Xbox. I used the ps5 and switch for single player. However, I’ve been enjoying more the ps5 due to its vast game library. Their exclusives catches my attention. I hope that Xbox can bring better exclusives in the coming years! 🙏🏻
You’ve pretty much got the dream platform combo, PS5 , Xbox and a switch which allows you to enjoy the best of all worlds. I also enjoy the PS5 exclusives but Xbox is slowly picking and hopefully in the coming years it will get a bigger and better library of exclusives
@@thevaluespaceIm sure he upgraded it to Xbox 360, One and Series console already. I have similar history. Had PS1, PS2 then bought Xbox 360 and never looked back. Build my game libraries into Xbox ecosystem and great thing is that Series X is fully backward compatible.
@@PureColumbianCocainum1949 Ur crazy, the OG xbox INTRODUCED online gaming for console and also had four controller ports for great local play like the N64. I was a pure competitive gamer and the choice was playing RPGs alone on Playstation or playing competitively online against the world on Xbox, easy choice for me.
I think the best way to go about it is, to look at the platform where most of the friends you want to play multiplayer with are, then going from there.
Xbox . Gamepass is 15 bucks and u get to play everything. Cod , halo. Gears forza , nba 2k all the battlefields star wars etc. And u get new games . Day and date which means day 1. Ps5 u have to pay alot and the controller dies fast and has drift issues .
Just traded my ps5 for series x from ar friend. I love my ps5 but the game prices were the main factor that made me switch, also while i get mediocre games on ps plus,my friend plays all the cool stuff on game pass almost for free. Ps5 is great for you if you have money,me being a dad with a small kid, trying to survive by scrapping the cash to make it thru the month, xbox was the best choice for me. That all said,i love my ps5 and will miss it.
that’s a big move! 🎮 It’s totally understandable, though-Game Pass really does offer an incredible value, especially when you’re balancing life as a parent. The PS5 is amazing, but being able to play so many great games on Xbox without breaking the bank is a game-changer, literally! 😄 I’m glad you found what works best for you, but I get how you’ll miss that PS5. Here’s to new gaming adventures on the Series X! 🚀
Nice video, i'd give the PS5 another point, because, according to the first startup, the Xbox Series X/S has got the same startup its got, but i boutta be honest, that, the PS5, when you turn it on for the first time, it really gives you some emotions, infact, its first startup looks like a new universe is being created, you can search its first startup animation there on youtube
I mainly bought my series X for the backwards compatible library from XBOX OG and 360. The XBOX 360 versions of games vs PS3 versions mostly run just a bit better plus they can be be played optimally on the Series X. I had a PS5 but don't have one now. I'm going to get a PS5 Pro when it releases and use that for most of my next gen games. No regrets getting the Series X though. Had some teething problems getting it to work backwards compatible but that seems to be sorted now. It's a very powerful and capable machine. There's no difference between the quality of the X and PS5, they are basically identical but there are certain games the Series X doesn't have so I definately will be needing a PS5 when I can get one. One of the features that should not be ignored on the X is the dev mode implementation. I've not used it myself yet but it has a lot of potential. The biggest downside for both consoles is the storage. The PS5 is better on that front because you can add an SSD but both of them could definately so with more memory off the shelf. Also XBOX Gamepass is really good value for money and opens up quite a lot of games depending on how much you want to spend. PS5 does have its fair share of available content aswell though but just not on the same level of Gamepass. Both consoles are fantastic and I can't imagine anyone getting either and being disappointed.
Spot on 👌🏾. I’d also love to see the series x build on the developer mode then on storage both ecosystem should bump it up to at least 2TB off the shelf given that after a few updates on games like COD the storage fills up so fast
I’ve been thinking about getting a console. I’ve never owned one before and I am leaning towards the ps5 to play the Spider-Man exclusives but I like the Xbox controller way more and I want a variety of games for cheap and I wanna play multiplayer games with my friends and they have Xboxes but they recommend me the ps5. I’m lost in between and both have great benefits I just wish Xbox had Spider-Man on it so I wouldn’t have to choose please help thank you.
Ah, the ultimate console dilemma you’re standing at the crossroads of gaming greatness! 🎮 Let’s break it down: If you’re all about swinging through NYC as Spider-Man, PS5 is calling your name louder than J. Jonah Jameson. 🕷️ Exclusive titles like Spider-Man are definitely a big draw for PlayStation. BUT if your heart says multiplayer fun with your Xbox squad and you love that Xbox controller feel (it is insanely ergonomic), then Xbox might be the better fit. Plus, Game Pass is like a buffet of gaming goodness tons of variety, and your wallet won’t cry! 💸. As for console to get. I'd advice going with the one most of your mates use.
Ive had 5 different ps5 consoles and 4 different series x consoles because i couldn't make up mind on which one i liked more, then i got both, kept both fof lile 2 months and sold the ps5. "But thr exclusives though" most major song exclusives have been out for years now, and they only plan on releasing 1 major exclusive for the next 2 years. I settled for the series x mainly because of forza (big car guy) and flight simulator (im an Air Traffic Controller)
Fair enough, the series X looks the perfect choice for you given your preference. I’m a bit disappointed Sony wouldn’t be releasing more exclusives given the fact the PS5 is known for its exclusive titles
Just got the PS5 Slim Disk version a month and a half ago, been keeping it on for days on end and hasn’t heated up or made any loud noises in the fan. Reason I held out so long was because I was waiting for PS5 pro. Got the Spiderman bundle version and yeah i figured I’ll sell and upgrade when ps5 pro comes out. The games for it also made me more inclined to buy. Tbh its a 10/10 for me
I’m glad you’re having a great experience with the PS5 slim. I’ve also got my eyes on the PS5 pro when it releases. What are your thoughts on PlayStation Plus?
Hi, can you leave a bit of a new opinion now thats 7 months later? I'm beteewen the slim with disc or series X, im "getting ready" for GTA VI, most of the xbox games i play they are on Steam, so PS would open a new catalog of games (i like single player). Thanks in advance, greatings from Portugal :)
I gotta say I like being able to swap out physical batteries, overtime the more you charge a rechargeable controller the faster and more often you need to charge it. My Xbox last quite a long time on a pair of batteries.
Let’s be honest here, all Xbox games are ported to PC at launch... So why would you want a Xbox anyway? A PC with the Windows OS is literally the same thing of a Xbox and is way more powerful. If i wanted to go gaming on my sofa i would just use a PS5. No offense but if you have a powerful enough PC, you won’t play or even use your Xbox console at all.
I have a powerful PC and i use xbox as well but only for GTA Online. If i want fps and quality at the same time and nit being limited to only performance, i play on PC.
@@wildhunt6350 Hey there! Sounds like you've got the best of both worlds with that setup! I totally get it-PC for max performance and FPS, Xbox for that classic GTA Online vibe. And by the way, your display pic with the Series X as a bazooka? Absolutely epic!
I have a PC with an RTX 4070, but I play on my Series X much more. I’m generally much more of a console gamer. It’s plug and play, no troubleshooting, no updating drivers, having 20 different launchers, just simplicity.
Xbox is cheaper. I got a used one for $300. It's optimized for 4k in a lot of games. I couldn't buy a 4k GPU alone for $300. Much less a CPU, MB, memory, drives, cooling, case, PSU, and a GPU.
Very informative as always! I don't really have a favorite console re: fan boy... It's more about the eco-system that keeps me tied into one more than the other. I think they are both fantastic consoles. I haven't invested into this generation yet... My last gen console is still going strong " touch wood"... lol. Enjoyed all content my friend. - Jass.
Just wondering what console you recommend im going from a ps4 not sure if i wanna go for ps5 slim or xbox series x i wanna play forza but i want ps5 and looks better but i kind wanna switch up and play diffrent games cause im pretty sure you can get all the games on ps4 on the 5
PS5 has backwards compatibility on most of the PS4 games so wouldn’t have to worry about missing out on the PS4 games. As for the console you can get the O.G PS5 for slightly less than the slim if you’ve got the patience , wait for the PS5 Pro. For forza download game pass and play it on the cloud
Looking to upgrade from my Xbox one s. I’ve always been an Xbox kid growing up. However ps5’s exclusives plus the haptic feedback are making me consider switching to ps5. However I also have a ton of Xbox one games from over the years. I’ve also heard rumors of Xbox not making new consoles, having “lost the console wars to ps5” is this true?
@@quiteslayer4067 not sure about Xbox holding off on making consoles but sure enough Sony are outmanoeuvring them in the console wars. As for upgrades if you can hold off another two to three years you can get there latest console when it drops but if that’s too long, you can get the new series X that launched a few weeks ago
@ is that the digital one? If so I’ve noticed companies seem to be starting to lean towards digital only consoles. I have a big plastic bin filled with Xbox discs so I would definitely prefer a disc console lol. You bring up a good point about next generation tho, I’ll have to consider that. Unless if it’s gonna be digital only moving forward 😅. Thank you.
I love watching these videos because you might come into it thinking whoever made the video will straight up say one is better than the other, but by the time you reach the end, it’s always “…it all comes down to your preferences”🙄🤣🤣🤣🤣
Which is true, I usually state my preference and it’s based on my experience with the product. I also give the advantages one has over the other and from that it can be easy to see where the scale Is tipping. The preference bit comes in since what I might enjoy about the product might not necessarily be everyone’s point of fun that’s why it’s good to be objective
i have a ps5 and it keeps having problems with the ethernet port disconnecting me from the internet while am playing online games, it is really frustrating, any tips?
Try and update Console System Software in Safe Boot Mode. Rebuild PS5 Database & Clear System Software Cache. You cable might also be damaged, try a new one and see if it works
Wonderful gamers, I need a suggestion from you. Which controller has stick drift or survive from that for a slight longer period of time. Because I cant spend 40 50 dollars every quarter.
Not gonna lie, they both get drift over time - it really depends on usage and how you take care of it. I would say the PS5 controller seems more durable and long lasting. The Xbox controller can develop problems with the RB/LB bumpers sometimes. But overall, it’s really just nitpicking, both controllers are fairly on par when it comes to durability. There are third party controllers available with hall effect sticks.
Good Video! ;) keep up the good work👌🏼 I switched from ps5 to Xbox Series X and for me the reason was the GamePass and some exclusive franchises. It was the best choice for me so far. Btw 2024 and 2025 will be a Great year for xbox! Regarding all the upcoming exclusive games i.e. Indiana Jones, avowed and visions of mana 👌🏼
Just bought a series x last week and I love it! Upgraded from one x but man the graphics, ray tracing, loading time is on point! Anyway, I would love to have a ps5 to complete my gaming setup. Nice vid man, keep it up!
I’m glad you enjoyed improvements on the Series X , just the PS5 left and your setup is complete. Looking forward for an update when you get it. Take care and stay safe mate
Guys , i need help Which console should i buy ( not pc ) I use the ps4 currently for 7 years and i am still on it , i played probably all the exclusives except spiderman 2 , and i hav enever played an exclusive of xbox despite gears of war on xbox 360 And my father wont be able to buy me a lot of exclusives as they are expensive ( 60€-80€) He would just buy me some of them like 3 or 2 I play 3 months per year So which one should i go for ? Ps5 or xbox series X ????
Looks like you’ve played a lot of PlayStation games. Since both consoles are past their midpoints you wait to get the refreshed version of the Xbox Series X or get the original Series X at a discount once the new ones arrive
Honestly, I say get both consoles because it’s not worth having console wars It’s just stupid. if you enjoy playing games just play them in my personal opinion it is better to get both because then you can play Xbox games and PlayStation games what they need to do is make a partnership to make the gaming industry bigger lot more people would join PlayStation and Xbox if they shared games and stopped making everything exclusive and signing 10yr contracts
@@thevaluespaceI would say the determining factor would be games. If you really wanna play Halo, Gears, Forza, Bethesda games (Fallout, Starfield, Elder Scrolls) - go for Series X. If you want to play Spider-Man, God Of War, Horizon, Grand Turismo, Demon’s Souls - go for PS5. If you mainly play multiplayer games, just get the console where most of your friends play on.
I have a ps5 Nintendo switch OLED and rog ally z1 extreme for Xbox and steam games. Gamepass works really well on pc i love it. Yes i could of got an xsx but i was really attracted to the handheld portability. And i could play steam aswell so yea im happy.
What console do you see yourself using the most? Do you primarily play on the ally while using steam/pc gamepass? Do you still purchase games for your ps5?
@@AloushMan I use my PS5 slightly more when my wife is not home but when she gets home I play the ally. All she plays is call of duty nothing else. I can only play call of duty for a couple of hours then I'm done. She can play it all day. So I play on my ally while she plays cod. But on PS5 I have Hogwarts legacy, helldiver's 2, suicide squad, Avatar, cod, a crap tone of PS4 games, spider man 2, I'm getting EA NCAA 25 I'm so excited for that I wish it would be on steam but it's not. And on steam the games I own is dying light, Hogwarts legacy, cod, and I play a bunch of different games on gamepass. I never played on PC it was always a console. But once I got the ally, I mean I was intimidated at first but learning and being able to control settings and tinker got me hooked. If it wasn't for my wife I would have done gotten rid of my PS5 and saved a lil money for a decent gaming laptop. PC gaming is a whole other level. Sorry I went a lil overboard. To answer your question I still play my PS5 more but by a little. If I had a gaming laptop I wouldn't really touch the PS5 if at all.
@@thevaluespace right. I am a Sony pony lol. But I wasn't always I had a Ps1 then my granny got me an original Xbox, I was hooked was with Xbox up until the Xbox one then I got the PS4 and was PlayStation every since. But in 2020 I was going to get Xbox x but everywhere was sold out but the Walmart by me had 1 PS5 in stock they wasn't going to post it until the next day the lady said so I grabbed it instead. But when I heard about the rog ally. And learned it wasn't a streaming device but an actual gaming PC that had gamepass I grabbed it up. And I didn't pay full price upfront I used afterpay well my wife did she has good credit unlike me. And I'm so happy. I mean I'm a lil salty that the ally x Is coming out but hey I'm happy. Like you said the best of both worlds. In my opinion when it comes to PlayStation plus and gamepass, gamepass is far superior actually good games and games that I used to love. PlayStation plus isn't really worth having. I dropped to essential because to play online games like helldiver's 2.
@@thevaluespaceThis could change my decision. I don't want a console giving me problems it's the main reason I got rid of my ps4 with the overheating problems they used to have. I got a xbox one at the moment and now it's time for me to upgrade I have all my achievements and more games on my ps account than my Xbox but the ps side is more costly because of ps plus (also no forza on playstation😢). Gamepass is a great offer and has every thing I want to play apart from a few, ps plus not so much. I grew up on the playstation ecosystem so it's still kinda hard to let go. I just feel like I'm going to be missing out on something on whichever I choose.

@@Knightfall76 if you had an account with PlayStation and most of the games you played are in that account, if I were you I’d get the PS5 slim or wait for the PS5 pro.
Got both and not a fan of game pass for two reasons. 1st is yes it has a ton of games but old a$$ games 2nd because I believe it has been the downfall of quality games if you take away the bonus of sales from devs meaning when you make a good game you get profit from sales and if most games are on game pass it doesn't matter how good the game is most will just get it free from game pass in which all that goes to Microsoft most likely why devs and team probably just get a flat fee and to add to that it's killing the physical game meaning you don't own it even if you buy it they can erase it at any time.... Just check when game pass came how quality of games dropped and Playstation plus has blame to but gamepass was the start plus is trying to catch up to game pass. I give it 2-3 yrs and everyone will notice that games continues to fall and never be complete and using us as test subjects to see if they want to continue with certain games or move on watch
Good point of view. I’ll definitely be doing a longterm review at the end of its life cycle and it would be such a shame if the quality keeps declining
Man I’ve went back n fourth I have both consoles. I can honestly say they both run games great I can’t tell which is better n tbh I still say Sony to me always has little better picture color graphics whatever u wanna say to me. But the series X looks great I must say I slightly before the X for game pass n backwards compatibility
Own both. Series X better for 3rd party games and definitely multiplayer games where you need 120fps (on compatible games) as it can run them in full RGB thanks to it's better bandwidth (48GBPS vs the PS5 32GBPS), so you will get the smoother and better looking experience. XBOX by far the better console in that department. However, PS5 wins in the exclusive department, but this only because I prefer their exclusives. Others prefer XBOX ones, so it's a subjective opinion.
Sometimes when i hear about some of the issues with these things its funny how it comes down to simple things such as keeping it clean and turning it off more often i haven't had any issues with my series x other than one instance of it turning off on its own but it was my own fault having it sitting where it was caused it to get too hot so i just moved it never had any other issues innist have to keep my kids from shoving things in the disc drive and keeping food and drinks away from it
I have both and strongly prefer the Xbox hardware but the PS5 is where my mates are. As someone else said, Dolby Vision is on another level. I think someone pondering one over the other would just be happy with either. GamePass is substantially better value than PS Plus so theres also that to consider.
"Totally get where you're coming from! It's like the classic 'heart vs. head' debate. Xbox’s hardware (especially with Dolby Vision) feels next level, but the PS5 has that magnetic pull with all your mates and exclusives. And yeah, GamePass is an absolute game-changer for value-it’s hard to beat! At the end of the day, both consoles bring so much to the table, so it’s a win-win no matter which way you go. It’s like picking between two amazing desserts; you just can’t go wrong!"
From what ive seen just to play online on Playstation is a rip off we pay that price on xbox as well as get over 400 games better exclusive? Where unless you fancy kids games god of war like ya best one aren't no one playing uncharted more then once those games even still popular?
Guess it all depends on your situation. If I was single, the PS5 would probably be my console of choice. Now that I have a wife and kid, solo gaming time is at a premium. Being able to seamlessly juggle could saves and digital libraries for multiple accounts across multiple consoles is absolutely key. I get that I could pay for PS Plus, but I resent the fact that I'd have to pay for multiple memberships to get the same baseline level of functionality. Am I jealous of the vastly superior Playstation exclusives? Hell yeah. Is it worth $450 to start and $15-$30 a month reocurring? Nope.
I just got a PlayStation 5 console last year in October of 2023 from Best Buy as a Birthday gift and Christmas gift for myself and also got the Xbox Series X last Friday from Walmart a low price for $449.00 plus tax like both consoles both look good in person.
@@thevaluespace well love my single player games, fighting games, and adventure games, like I said before love both consoles but the PlayStaion have more of those exclusive games more than Xbox does.
I own all three no debate they are great on what they do, pc is more versatile, Xbox game pass is top tier, and ps5 exclusives are top tier just own them all and enjoy
I have both a xbox series x and a ps5 and i liked spiderman, i kinda liked gran turismo, for xbox the game pass, the new recent exclusives they all have been nice, but if i had to choose i would prefer an xbox series x just because its more convenient to what i mainly play, dont get me wrong the ps5 dual sense remote is nice i just prefer the UI, the apps and games on xbox plus i have been using xbox since 2010 and i tried a ps3 ps4 id still go for xbox, they are just more simpler to use in my opinion
Fair enough, looks like you’re deeply etched in the Xbox ecosystem and it’s working for you. I like the PlayStation because of its exclusives and the Series X because of game pass so I keep towing between the two ecosystems
Wow, 10 years with your Xbox One?! That's incredible! 🙌 But you’re right-the jump to the Series X will be like stepping into a whole new gaming dimension! 🎮✨ Get ready for faster load times, insane graphics, and smoother gameplay-your mind's gonna be blown! 🔥 Time for that well-deserved upgrade!
I currently own the PS5 and I liked it last year but now I’m getting tired of it and the game catalog has been horrible with no new exclusives and no good games worth checking out. I’ve used Xbox before I even had the Series S (also owned Xbox One S, Xbox 360) and the games are very good. So, I am considering switching back to Xbox because of the new Forza and the other games on Game Pass.
Sounds like you're in the middle of a console crossroads! It’s frustrating when the game catalog doesn’t hit the markespecially after getting so much out of the PS5 last year. If you’ve got a history with Xbox and are feeling the pull back, Forza and Game Pass could be the perfect combo to reignite that gaming spark. Plus, Game Pass always seems to have something fresh to dive into. Sometimes a switch-up is just what you need to get excited about gaming again
Sounds like you've got the ultimate gaming setup at home-Xbox, PlayStation, AND Switch? Your daughter must be living the dream with that PS4 and PS5! It's awesome to have the best of all worlds.
The Xbox having no games narrative is old and is just not true. Xbox has more first party games than the Playstation. Remasters don't count as new games.
I agree remaster and remakes don't count but how many Xbox first party games did well none. Redfall failure, starfield incomplete. I can't even think of any other games 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@roscoebuzzard3687 If starfield is incomplete then Playstation hasn't released a complete game in a generation. It was a financially successful game which you wouldn't know because Ponies don't buy games.
I disagree, i prefer putting batteries into the xbox controller because then i dont have to charge and can continue to play, i hate when my ps controller dies, i had to buy a 2nd and they dont last long, the xbox controller lasts much longer with batteries.
Valid argument, but I guess it’s all subjective, for me I just don’t like the idea of batteries 🪫 in 2024 even though they last longer. The Xbox elite controller is a classic example of an inbuilt battery rechargeable battery that can last
@@thevaluespace you can recycle batteries too in 2024 lol, but if you don't like to buy batteries you can buy the battery packs for Xbox controllers also.

For the cheap price you can’t beat Xbox series s especially if you buy a good used one as I did for 120. But yes over all of course the ps5 is the best

I agree with you on that . I also enjoy the trophy pops on the PS5
this is the main reason i switched back to xbox
I have both.. But dolby vision support on the series x coupled with the new lg g3 55 evo and the graphics just look out of this world.. Halo infinite, forza, the witcher 3, fenyx rising, etc have never looked better..
That would be insane with the LG G3. The picture quality would be out of this world
You know Xbox has no good games when you have to throw in Witcher
@@bruin098 I think it’s all about preference. What you find exciting might not necessarily be everyone’s favourite
That's a good display! Bet its nice. Also, why is this degenerating into a dick measuring contest?
Lovely living room decor man. Are those plants real ? Would love to get a link to purchase them ?
Thanks mate they are real. Unfortunately there are no links I bought them from a local nursery
Looks like you'll have to grow your own matey, lol.
I only bought the Series X for backwards compatibility
That feature is amazing combined with the ability to setup an emulator through developer mode to play even more games from back in the day
same best selling point for me
I promise I’m thinking of doing the same. The games I really want are also on ps4. So I see no reason to have a PS5. Also I’m getting a pc and Sony exclusives are going to pc. So I got patience to wait
Same
I have both, plus the switch.

Ur crazy, the OG xbox INTRODUCED online gaming for console and also had four controller ports for great local play like the N64. I was a pure competitive gamer and the choice was playing RPGs alone on Playstation or playing competitively online against the world on Xbox, easy choice for me.
I got both and it’s so nice to be able to play with all my friends no matter what console they have
I agree with you on that. It’s good to switch around regardless of the ecosystem
This was a great breakdown of the two!

Which should i get ps5 or xsx because i want to play multiplayer games and only bit of single player games pls help i am not able to decide
I think the best way to go about it is, to look at the platform where most of the friends you want to play multiplayer with are, then going from there.

Interesting I never knew that . I’ll look it up. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the video, I’m happy you enjoyed it
I mainly bought my series X for the backwards compatible library from XBOX OG and 360.
Are you sure Cyberpunk 2077 is exclusive to PS5?
I made a mistake there it’s not an exclusive

I’ve been thinking about getting a console. I’ve never owned one before and I am leaning towards the ps5 to play the Spider-Man exclusives but I like the Xbox controller way more and I want a variety of games for cheap and I wanna play multiplayer games with my friends and they have Xboxes but they recommend me the ps5. I’m lost in between and both have great benefits I just wish Xbox had Spider-Man on it so I wouldn’t have to choose please help thank you.
Ah, the ultimate console dilemma you’re standing at the crossroads of gaming greatness! 🎮 Let’s break it down:
If you’re all about swinging through NYC as Spider-Man, PS5 is calling your name louder than J.
Really good point although some people find buying an Xbox a lot cheaper compared to getting a PC
I have both. Series X is what I mainly play on but PS5 is great also. You really can’t go wrong with either one
I agree, you get to experience the best of both worlds
Very informative as always! I don't really have a favorite console re: fan boy... It's more about the eco-system that keeps me tied into one more than the other.

Wonderful gamers, I need a suggestion from you. Which controller has stick drift or survive from that for a slight longer period of time. Because I cant spend 40 50 dollars every quarter.
I guess it all depends on how you use it. Regardless of the controller if you take good care of it, it’s going to last longer
Get the 8bitdo xbox controller, it has hall effect joysticks which are very resistant to stick drift.

Why is nobody talking about that xbox fully supports modded games. Xbox x is simply the closest you can get to a gaming PC. It just is.
That’s so true. A good feature that most mainstream consoles don’t have
Well summarised, like you said it all depends on what an individual really wants out of their console
@@thevaluespace agreed 👍🏻
Sometimes when i hear about some of the issues with these things its funny how it comes down to simple things such as keeping it clean and turning it off more often i haven't had any issues with my series x other than one instance of it turning off on its own but it was my own fault having it sitting where it was caused it to get too hot so i just moved it never had any other issues innist have to keep my kids from shoving things in the disc drive and keeping food and drinks away from it
Quite interesting how the most basic things keep the issues at bay. I have haven’t had any problems with my console
I agree with you on that
Guess it all depends on your situation. Nope.
I absolutely agree with you, it’s a case by case thing . In my case I somewhat lean towards the PS5 mainly because of the exclusive titles
I just got a PlayStation 5 console last year in October of 2023 from Best Buy as a Birthday gift and Christmas gift for myself and also got the Xbox Series X last Friday from Walmart a low price for $449.00 plus tax like both consoles both look good in person.

I have both system love them both but if y'all can't afford both because of money issue that is on y'all
Good on you, you can afford both. It’s good to be considerate of others
Cyberpunk is not an exclusive, it’s literally available on the xbox store👀
Yeah also on PC, I made a mistake there. My bad
Ive played god of war, Spiderman, and yeah im bored of them now, xbox is the one for me now,get both if you have money.
Fair I’d agree with you on that, if the budget allows, you can’t go wrong with getting the best of both worlds
Cyberpunk isn’t ps5 exclusive 😭
But great video
My bad, I made a mistake there. Thanks though I’m glad you enjoyed it
Cyberpunk 2077 is not PS 5 exclusive. Its multiplatform game which works even with Xbox One and ofcourse with Series S/X.
Thanks for the correction
both
That still works great
I have always loved Xbox more mainly cause of the backwards compatibility but PS5 is also amazing
I like the backward compatibility feature too. Playing good old classics from back in the day. When it comes to exclusives I prefer the PS5
PC so that i can enjoy both ( PS games and Xbox game pass)
Come to think of it that’s the best solution coz you get the best of both worlds
Why should I leave sony for MS? I have been with sony from since ps1 and I wont drop sony for MS
Fair enough but there’s nothing wrong trying out what’s on the other side of the fence
I think k both consoles are great
I'm more of a xbox fan however my
Daughter has a ps4 and 5 as well and we have the switch
Sounds like you've got the ultimate gaming setup at home-Xbox, PlayStation, AND Switch? Your daughter must be living the dream with that PS4 and PS5! It's awesome to have the best of all worlds.
The Xbox having no games narrative is old and is just not true. Xbox has more first party games than the Playstation. Remasters don't count as new games.
Valid point 👌🏾
I agree remaster and remakes don't count but how many Xbox first party games did well none. Redfall failure, starfield incomplete. I can't even think of any other games 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh hifi rush was a hit but studio shut down outside of that. It's flop after flop after flop ohhh yea after flop
@@roscoebuzzard3687 If starfield is incomplete then Playstation hasn't released a complete game in a generation. It was a financially successful game which you wouldn't know because Ponies don't buy games.
I like anime games and especially gacha games like genshin and honkai star rail so I go with the ps5 because it is most likely to get all such games
Good choice. It perfectly aligns with your needs and wants 👍🏾👍🏾
Both are great consoles but quality wise to me, I like the Xbox series X better
@@MegaPsycho84 fair enough, I’d suppose most of your friends are in the Xbox ecosystem
Both are great consoles and both have their exclusives. Personally Xbox all day only because of game pass. But HONESTLY Save the money and invest in a pc. Can play whatever you want at the highest fps with extremely good looking graphics.
Well said , a PC gives you the best of both worlds with better fps
Warning
Ps5 lag lag even you have best connection in the world cuz thy limited upload so you got high ping go Xbox
Have you tried following up with your service provider?
Who cares what one’s best I enjoy both of em equally I even like the switch.
@@aaronz4307 fair enough to each their own
I had a xbox series x twice and sold it both times... xbox is just a flop. The exclusives flopped hard. The blade game interested me but then i find out it will not even come out until at least 2026. Which by then the next gen games will almost be out and series x will be old technology. This gen of gaming is a joke
Haha is that why you’ve got Wesley Snipes as your DP
Correction cyberpunk is not a PS5 exclusive
True,my bad , I made a mistake there
@@thevaluespace thanks for the quick response ❤️
I have both consoles so who cares when you poppin 6️⃣

Bro Xbox is over. When Hogwarts sold 56% on Ps, xbox sold only 4%. This won't even give the employees a salary.
I still believe they’ve got something to offer the gaming market
lol
Nah Xbox people typically play different games that's all.
For the cheap price you can’t beat Xbox series s especially if you buy a good used one as I did for 120. But yes over all of course the ps5 is the best
@@Andrez-d6e I agree with you on that. A second Series S in good condition would be the absolute bang for your buck but the PS5 is a bit better
I always said the PS5 was the superior console for the first few years of the release of next Gen, but in 2024, the series x is superior in almost every single way. Sony exclusives have plateaued, and only releasing one major exclusive in the next 2 years.
True, the second half of their current cycles is going to be quite interesting but in my reckoning the Series X has the upper hand so far

cyberpunk 2077 isn't a ps5 exclusive
Yes There’s a dedicated PS5 version you can google it
@@thevaluespacewow a gaming youtuber who is clueless about what exclusives are. Never thought id see such a thing.
@@joeydirt420 I think I made a mistake on that one my bad
I've got a ps5 and a switch. I would get an X if I saw a price around what I payed for the ps5. Got the ps5 for $550 used in Canadain currency. I've never owned any xboxs.
@@michaelbeck9282 I’m sure if you bargain hunt you could score the Series X for around that price. Alternatively you could wait for the mid-cycle refresh
You’ve already enjoyed Indiana Jones…I wonder…
Yes the gameplay
Almost every single Xbox game coming to PS5. A lot of Xbox games are already on the PS5.
Yeah a few good titles will be opening up to PS5 and Nintendo as mentioned by Phil Spencer on the Xbox podcast a few weeks back o
@@thevaluespace you didn’t hear? He said that he’s planning to put more on PS this year.
@@postupislilrodneysson9986 if I’m not wrong he also mentioned Nintendo and not just PS5
@@thevaluespace yes, he did mention Nintendo.
That’s completely false information. There are only 4 smaller xbox titles that are going over to the ps5 and nobody has said anything about “all exclusives” going over and certainly not the big franchise ones
Its no best console anymore, play where ur friends are, or buy both, i feel playstation is more single player games, and xbox more for multiplayer/coop games, and xbox got inbuild LFG for games if you like to do achievement / trophy to ask others for help, i keep switching Back and fourth, 😊
Great point mate, I agree with you on that 👌🏾
I've never bought an Xbox before but the series x is very tempting. Sony needs to get backwards compatibility with PS3 games,1440p and a difference design cause the PS5 is just butt ugly.
Yeah the PS5’s backwards compatibility should stretch farther than the PS4, and a better design would completely seal the deal for the PS5
Easy. Do you own a decent PC? PS5. No? Tougher to answer, either is a fine choice.
@@J.Wick. not just yet but as we speak I’m in the process of building my own custom PC
The PS5 is more fun and has a large number of players
Not so sure which side has the bigger market share of gamers but without a doubt they’ve got more exclusive titles in their library
Not more players than the Xbox though.
@@theintellectualtrader that’s something we’ve got to find out. Not sure which side has the bigger market share
