Thank you for such a wonderful video - I've recently started the journey to become a coach and this video is fantastic. You managed to explain values in a simple and clarifying way and I've come away understanding this area of coaching in greater depth than ever before. Looking forward to seeing your other videos when they're ready!

I love this deeper discussion on values, the brain science around it and especially how each of us expresses the values as our unique ice-cream flavor. The reference to valugration reminds me it is a great tool to use with a client, especially one who is stuck due to conflict between the hemispheres. This was so very helpful!

Thank you for the wonderful discussion about values and especially "the flavor" or them. It so reminds me how different they can be. My late husband and I both shared the value of honesty. My flavor of honesty was about the size of a point on a pin, while his was the size of a half dollar in my mind. It wasn't that he lied, but my version took into account the statement itself, what meaning was given to it, how it could impact others, and what else did someone need to know. Realizing that we had different flavors of the same value really helped me to not overact when his flavor did not match mine.
