Jasmine, I plan on going to Kumasi in July. Im from the US and got an Ancestry DNA match. I've been talking with her for about a year now. We will meet soon.
Dear Jasmine, I really enjoyed your presentations . I purchased my airfight and am arriving in Ghana 🇬🇭 in December. I'll be the artist in residence at a school in Ho Volta Region teaching music. My last visit I was fortunate to have 120 children performing my original lyrics. It was a beautiful spiritual journey. Each day was filled with revelations, miracles and dreams come true. I am looking forward to communicating and sharing my experiences with you. Peace and prosperity 🙏🏾 Geojo
Welcome back, Jasmine. Great vid. I'd love to travel to Kumasi for the history and culture. I'm fascinated by Ashanti/Asante history and culture. I also would love to buy authentic kente cloth. 👍

REALLY enjoyed this video too, Jasmine. Nice to see another perspective on Kumasi. I think I'd live comfortably there (with a reliable generator). As a Fante speaker, I'm not sure about some of the local language barriers but will survive, nonetheless, I'm sure. I like the chilled vibe. The AirBnB looked very welcoming. Thank you for sharing.❤💛🖤💚
Hello Jasmine! It's been awhile! Hope all is well with you and yours! Just wondering when will you be touring the Western Region? You love the ocean and we have beautiful beaches in the west. I know you will love it! Check it out! Thanks as always,I am enjoying the video!! Much love!!!
I love Kumasi and can’t wait to go back one day. Thank you for sharing. Oh, and please stop looking at your phone while driving. You’re not only putting yourself in danger but others too.
Jasmine I thought you would give we non Ghanaian viewers from outside Ghana a background on Ejisu as you drove past. Revered Nana Yaa Asantewaa was the Ejisuhemaa (Queen Mother of Ejisu. Her nephew was the Ejisuhene (ruler of Ejisu). The British Resident wanted to sit on the Dwa Sika (Golden Stool) a revered symbol of the Ashanti Kingdom an act considered insulting on Ashanti Royalty. Nana Yaa Asantewaa made her famous speech: ie where is the pride of the Ashanti? If the men will not go up and fight we shall". Nana led a squad of 5,000 to fight the British initially laid siege on the Fort at Kumasi. The British sent for reinforcements from other British West Africa countries. Nana was eventually defeated exiled to Seychelles were she died. Very important part of African history worth retelling on this your trip to the Ashanti Region.
I really enjoyed this video... Before you leave Kumasi, please cover these places too if possible: Lake bosomtwe, Manhyia Palace, Adum, Kejetia,... Thanks
