I visited the dangeon it was very sad, I experienced what Europeans did to we Africans it was horrible, I cried like a baby and I'm in tears watching this documentary 😭 I've been there 7 times and I'm encouraging each and every black person to visit this place. Because this place will change your life, I will be there in the 3rd week of December. I've purchased 2 acres of land in Cape Coast started my project, i got married to a Ghanain, we have 2 kids. I've been to the CapeCoast castle several times but have never been educated this much by any tour guide. This tour guide is very knowledgeable, articulate, a great teacher and historian. Big Ups to him. He really did a good job.

I felt this, every word!! I'm from Cape Coast (my mother was raised on the Adisadel Estate) and I've visited the Castle several times as a youngster. But hearing Brother Abankwah giving the history behind the slave trade in meticulous detail...jeez, this hits home in a totally different way!!!
