I learnt something new that the proper pronunciation of Aburi is EBRI. The conference on the Nigeria crisis, which preceded the civil war, was held in Aburi (pronounced Ebri), Ghana, at the Aburi Botanical Gardens. Specifically, the meeting took place at the State House, also known as the Aburi Lodge January 4 to 5, 1967.
@@sixpacks4real I know a ghana brother that use to work for banks in ghana and he showed me pictures and his life was good in ghana but he chased the west dream and gave all that up for west and in the west he started working for a factory as a manager and end up angering himself at work and now he is a seak man who can not work , he lives under a pension salary he only 45 and he lives in apartment but had a house in Ghana

Hey Jas, watching from Georgia/USA I love the video for the fact that I was just there and visited the waterfall and the botanical garden. I even have a pic of the big ant 🐜 farm. We are actually building a house in Aubri.
Jasmine, you’re doing a fantastic job at representing Ghana. I am coming for a month in October and you have really assisted me in placing to visit while there. Keep up the good work.

Hmmm jasmine Ama, I love your videos especially the old ones. The video u visited Kwahu and Koforidua wow love it. Wish I will meet you one day hmmm that will be my happiest day. Take care dear
Great video Jasmine. Aburi hills are so beautiful. I believe Rita Marley Bob Marley's wife has her home in that area. Loved the Air BnB, only the best for our Jasmine and crew. Bless up !!
I was there in Dec 2023. I went to the Adom Waterfall! Those steps down to the big waterfall are no joke! I had to sit at the bottom of the steps a little while to get myself together.
So you can come and steal the land from the original land owners? Those very sentences along with, many other words from people like you. Are the very words used to come in and ILLEGALLY take from my people! Next thing you know there are Resorts, Yoga facilities and unwanted immigrants.

Jasmine, Aburi is beautiful. We haven’t seen or heard anything about Aisha since your grandmother’s funeral. I miss her. How is she doing ?? Please do an update about her.
Hi jasmine about the okro soup, sometimes when it doesn't finished, they keep it in the fridge and cook it over again and served people with it and does makes the taste very different just like how all restaurants does, really not all restaurants but thats why some food taste different 😊
Aww great you made it to Adom Waterfalls!! I went last year during the dry season. Will have to go again in the rainy season for the full waterworks, and yes the hike there and up and down the steps is tiring keke 😅
Aburi looks like a very nice area. I love it when you stop at road side venders. What type of large tall tree was that with the web base to roots? Is the water fall on private land? Jasmine you forgot how tiring walking up hill can be. It take a LOT more energy . 😅😅
The waterfall was abandoned for some time years ago, so one of the sub chiefs brought in an investor who help me revive the place, hence they started charging. The other land surrounding the area is family land.
Get a rain coat and walk it jasmine, dont always wait for the rain to stop!!😅You can get drunk on palm wine you know.I love Aburi, beautiful part of town, beautiful botanical garden and the veg and fruit market.l still love Akosombo more..😄Sending you looove jas.❤Cheers.
I’ve been watching your videos for quite sometime. I find them uniquely enjoyable, entertaining and informative. The content is consistently valuable. There is one thing that has been confusing to me though, and please don’t be offended. I can’t put a finger on your accent. If I understand it you’re ethnically Ghanaian, but reared in Australia? You have a pleasant presentation voice, but it doesn’t sound either Ghanaian or Australian. Again, I mean no offense. It’s probably just my old ears and their inability to distinguish sounds. Keep the good work coming.
Thanks so much. No offense taken. Yes hard to pin point my accent because i lived in Ghana for a while as well as in Australia for even longer. My accent can also be different depending on who i am speaking to. I sound more Aussie with my Aussie friends. But so long as u can understand me i guess.
Hello beautiful Jasmine ❤ I like your educative and informative content...I have a dream one day to meet you face to face because I want to learn more about your increadible personality😊🎉 or just host me one day in your Airbnb when I come on vacation in Ghana 😊 enjoy your day out there❤
Obosomase where the waterfall is located is much more reasonable than the earlier towns like Peduase (where the palm wine is sold). From 130k onwards you can get land within Obosomase, Ahwerease when further up which has fantastic views. Alternatively you can also get land up 100k on the other side of Aburi where there's also another waterfall called Oboadaka Falls
I work in Healthcare and there is a severe lack of Healthcare workers. Years ago there were so many Ghanaians but now not as much. Probably because the economy is much better. The Ghanaians that I do see tell me they will retire in Ghana now. Things have changed
wait, so that is the correct pronunciation? In Nigeria we have another pronunciation for it. It is the place for the infamous meeting between Gen. Gowon and Gen. Ojukwu
