The look on Larry's face when he finally realizes it's Louise and not Samantha is priceless.
It would have been nice if Louise had been in more episodes. Sam needed a mortal bestie.
They were so compatible. They both had young children. Their hubbies worked in the same office. I'm sure that Endora would have approved.
Possible end of series plot twist: Louise had been an "under cover" witch all along.

I remember seeing a clip here when Tabitha was born. And Darrin had to wait outside and people just smoking in the hospital.

I love this. By the time this aired, David White was a widower with a young son named Jonathan. Jonathan was his only child. From what I read about David White, he was exactly the opposite of Larry Tate, which is probably why he played him so well.
Sadly, David White lost his son in the horrible Airplane crash in Dec.1988 at Lockerbie, Scotland when the plane he was in, Pan Am flight 103 exploded in the sky above, from a terrorist bomb.

I wish Irene Vernon had stayed with the show. She was a good friend of Danny Arnold who produced the first season but left due to "creative differences" (he wanted the show to be mainly a romantic comedy but the other producers and ABC wanted to focus more on fantasy elements). At the end of season two the producers "persuaded" Irene to leave. Danny Arnold went on to produce _That Girl_ and _Barney Miller_ ; Irene Vernon isn't credited with appearing in any TV shows of films after she left _Bewitched_ .

There sure was romantic chemistry between Montgomery and York.
Which is interesting considering their relationship was strictly professional yet I don't think Montgomery has the same chemistry with Dick Sargent even though they became close friends.
@@dannycarrington1601 Sargent was gay, that may explain the chemistry element very simply. Montgomery adored Sargent though as a close friend. She attended gay pride rallies with him. Montgomery was a civil rights supporter across many platforms. Bewitched is really a show about the right to be "other".
Their romantic chemistry was for the camera only, Elizabeth Montgomery didn't like Dick York.

@@richardedmiston3756 that's not the impression I've had from watching EM in interviews and just knowing the show lore over the years. Where did you read that she had no chemistry with York? People love to just blurt out all sorts of nonsense on you tube without citing any sources.

Agreed. The beaded fringe was a beautiful touch. I’ve seen other dresses from 62-65 era that had that above/around the waist. Doris Day wore one in her movie “The Thrill of it All” when she was made up to do a TV soap commercial. I remembered it over the years as it was so lovely and unique to me. You should check out the fashion show (here on TH-cam) from her 1962 movie “That Touch of Mink”. Those sure were the days of elegant dresses.

All I ever wanted was someone to love me the way Darrin Stephens loved Samantha.
Me too and accept me as I am.
I love the final scene where Darrin and Sam discuss the time when they have a child and Darrin wants to know whether it will be a witch or a warlock. Sam says she doesn't know, just that she hopes it will be a happy child, has your eyes, your hair, and it'd be nice if it had my (and she twitches).
That cracks me up knowing that Tabitha is in their future. 😀😀
Luckily it seems Tabitha takes after her mom when it comes to her eyes, hair and twitching 😀

@@dianetheisen8664 Yeah I just saw the episode but I don’t ever remember see the Tates som grow up it’s like the Riders decided to just forget about him. It’s like they decided to wait for Samantha to have a son to introduce another child to the story line
@@TomYaz Samantha had her son after the Tates had theirs. I say this because when Samantha's son was born, the 2nd Darrin was in the show. The first Darrin was in the episode where Aunt Clara turned the Tates boy into twins.
