I love the copper tone color the Refrigerator is. When I was a young teenager my parents were getting new appliances and I begged her to get that color. She got a gold color and she claimed it was copper tone lol. They both passed away. Lord do I miss them.
I wish they'd made Naomi Hogan a recurring character, even after Alice Ghostly began the role of Esmerelda. I can imagine some hysterical plot lines with the two crossing paths with one another, much like Samatha and Serena, but with the mortal Naomi Hogan being totally baffled by Esmerelda's freaky witchcraft!
On that note, it's a shame that Mr. York or Mr. Sargent didn't have an alternate character and all six of the characters have to ride up an elevator, and some mortals get in and ask if it's a twin convention, getting a smirk from Serena and a nervous look from Sam and Darrin. I think Bewitched could be brought back with modern takes and effects. And new plotlines.
@@cannedmusic A reboot may work, I think Sabrina the Teenage Witch may be the closest we will see. Harry Potter was released in-between then & now so that changed things a bit.
I don't like it when Samantha asks permission from Darrin to use her witchcraft. Darrin, you married a practically immortal being with godlike magical powers. Take it or leave it!
I remember thinking at the time i was watching it though, why didn't Darren like his wife for who she was , a witch. Why insist she conform to his idea of what a wife should be.
In this episode her name is Naomi, I was a little surprised, but then again, Bernard Fox (Dr. Bombay) played a man saying that thing like witches don’t exist.
Is that the same dress Samantha wore after Aunt Clara conjured up a disappearing dress (The Disappearing Dress)? It looks like the same exact style, just blue instead of red. Colorization issue?
Yes. After this she was asked to become Mrs. Kravitz (or the new nosy neighbor) but she was friends with Alice Pearce and wouldn't take the role after Alice's passing.
@@Nunofurdambiznez No, she wasn't a cousin either. She was just a witch that was a maid. She used the "Aunt Esmerelda" moniker in the remade episode about babysitting. It was originally Aunt Clara's episode in season two, they just scratched out Clara and put in Esmerelda.

Elizabeth was in her third trimester when this episode was filmed. This episode aired before she (and Samantha) gave birth.

This is my favorite bewitched episode. Alice Ghostly and Elizabeth Montgomery were amazing actresses.

This was a few times Darren allowed Samantha to use here witchcraft, and in this case was certainly justified 😊
I do dislike the very idea of Samantha, a confident fully grown adult being "allowed" to do anything by her husband.
