    I'm currently on Bronco #3. I've had a 92, 95, and now a 96.
Everything in this video checks out. I'd say pay special attention to the part about the rear window @ 1:13. Lowering that window is not only a key feature but a necessity if you want to open the back/lower the tailgate. Also, you might want make sure the switch inside the Bronco (left of the steering wheel) works to lower the rear window. Less of a necessity but it's nice to be able to lower it while driving.

the motors rarely go bad. what goes bad are nylon bearing that are brittle and need replacement inside the electirc window motor.

And the plastic dash bracket on the right side will probably be broken they sell kits to reinforce it with a metal bracket

Should've talked about the RABS system... It is rare to find a 5th gen with a fully functioning ABS system and that isn't the PCV, but the crank case breather tube (air in). PCV is located on the top and back of the passenger side valve cover and connects to the back of the upper intake manifold.

A clogged PCV valve will create issue described.

I think it was 93-96 that had 4wabs, functioning is another story. Mine isnt working right on my 96, I'm going to try to fix it but if that doesn't work I might just have to delete the abs

Where I live, a bronco like that would go for $10-15000.
I dont know how much they go for in nicer parts of the country but in general the more you pay the nicer one you'll get. Also anything with like 150000 miles or more is when stuff starts to fail and you'll be replacing parts left and right, not saying that to scare anyone that's just a fact, 25+ year old vehicles will need work done to them.
If you live in the rust belt you will be replacing the front shock towers and rear leaf spring mounts, I've done this on 3 ford trucks/broncos so far. A decent amount of these truck have some kind of lift on them so check and make sure it's a decent one, the independent front suspension does not like it when the suspension geometry is all screwed up. Also the power steering pump on these are garbage, find an econoline with the same engine and get the power steering pump and bracket off of it and put it on the bronco, you'll need to get a van ps hose and slightly bend it to fit and you'll also need a slightly longer serpentine belt but it's worth it.

I just bought this exact truck and I can’t figure out how to open the tail gate? The spare tire has a handle but it doesn’t release,
I’m so frustrated, like can you not open the Gail gate if the window doesn’t go down? Please help

    • @ImJoeTheCeo
